Everything was just fine. The parking arrangements were well explained in the welcome pack. It is effectively self check-in but based on the communications, figuring out the arrangements was easy enough. The view from the room was excellent and the breakfast was good.
It is an old character property, and the parking is a short distance away on the harbour. Didn't worry us, but if you have trouble with stairs you might struggle.

Location excellent , friendly, warm and very helpful staff, breakfasts yummy.

Breakfast
We stayed in room 5 , the mattresses were awful, cheap as you like. The shower ceiling was black and the curtains were dreadful. But to top it off, we could hear every word of the conversation in room 6! we may as well have been in the same room! The walls had no soundproofing whatsoever. Never coming here again . The night before we stayed in an Alistair Sawdays rated hotel in Dartmouth for the same price. Harbour view is seriously overpriced for what it provides , avoid, avoid, avoid!

Ideal for walking around Brixham .Great Views
Window wouldn't open, causing condensation

Hotel is in the centre of harbour, close to everything.
Room was in the backyard, very small, with any view at all, dark.Smell of damp quite strong.

The breakfast was good , freshly cooked and with cheerful service. Our bedroom was pleasantly decorated and the view was amazing. We had a separate bathroom across the corridor which was fine but it could do with some updating and the shower was intermittent some mornings.
We had a flight of 39 winding stairs to access our room which might be a problem for those with mobility issues . I don't remember seeing advance warning of this nor of the 50 steps to the car park. There is a long way round on a narrow pavement however. We did also feel there should have been fire safety advice in the room. There was a fire extinguisher and a fire exit two floors down but we made ourselves aware of this.

The accommodation was good and clean. Nicely decorated. The staff and the full English breakfast plus the usual extras was good. Access to the rooms and parking was easy, although the parking bay was a tight squeeze with metal posts either side of the car. We had a very convenient stay. The location of the guest house was ideal.
Room 9 was advertised as the ‘garden view’ room as opposed to the more expensive view over the harbour room. The garden view turned out to be the back yard facing the kitchen/back door window, which meant our curtains were shut all the time.
The room itself was lovely and clean and well decorated but very small and smelt of damp. We are not a tiny couple and negotiating the narrow gap around the bed to the shower room was tricky.
The shower room was small and there was no room for a wash bag. The basin was also too small to wash in so water ended up on the floor.

Almost everything!
Wonderful view from bedroom window.
Very friendly staff.
Good breakfast.
Super location.
A few minor things a bit tired. Toilet roll holder falling off wall. Shower difficult to control temperature (might have been us!).
4.3
Location was good and information about arriving and parking was good.
My room was in the courtyard. It was very small but that was ok. But the noise from upstairs was unacceptable I could hear every footstep very loudly as well as the flushing of the toilet. I was woken twice by the noise in the night presumably because someone was using the bathroom. I would not recommend this room to anyone.

The view was absolutely sensational, the location was amazing. The staff were very friendly at breakfast and we were able to bring our dog, Galaxy and the owners were so welcoming to her. The bedroom was quite small but well decorated and very clean. We will definitely book again!
The shower was quite slow and not very powerful and the breakfast was on the smaller side but nice.

We loved the view, and the fact that it was dog friendly. Bed was comfy. Location was great.
The room was really small, there was no plug sockets next to the beds. Bathroom was outdated and bath very small. TV was outdated.
4.3
The mirror in the bathroom.
The breakfast was and lovely and fresh and the host was super kind, lovely guy.
No view of harbour. Certain things in the room didn’t work. The shower was weak.
The double bed was a small double bed bed.
The attic window was broke and had cobwebs all in it so we couldn’t open it. There was nothing to open it with too. The lighting was dim. There very very tiny little space to walk, very crammed for two people.

Perfect location over looking the harbour. Clean and comfortable. A warm welcome on arrival. Staff are always friendly and make you feel at home. Delicious breakfast.
No dislikes with this property.
4.3
Great location and convenient parking spot. Breakfast was good.
Our room was detached from the main B&B and we could hear everything from the room above us, from their voices to toilet flushes. The advertised “garden view” was just a courtyard where the bins were kept and looked directly into the kitchen window, so didn’t give us much privacy. It also wasn’t very clean and the walls were covered in cobwebs. I messaged the property about our concerns after our first night and they ignored my message and never responded. There was also no reception to speak to them in person about it. Given the price per night, we were disappointed with our stay.

Location
It was clean but tired and needs a bit of updating, does not reflect the price paid. The room was poorly appointed with an extension lead precariously balanced on the shelf with the kettle plugged in, leaving one spare socket on the lead. It did have a good view and location. Breakfast was very small but staff were friendly and helpful.
4.3
excellent location especially with a seaview room which we were given even though we had our dog Stripe with us. Such a refreshing change to be treated the same as non-dog visitors! well done Harbour View! all staff exceptionally friendly and welcoming and breakfast was lovely and always served with a chat and a smile. will definately be returning.
4.3
The breakfast was good - cereals + toast and the option of a full English ( a bit on the small side ). The view over the harbour is beautiful, although the narrow road outside gets noisy at certain times. The location is great for a wide variety of pubs and restaurants. The wi-fi reception was very good. The room and breakfast room were spotlessly clean.
I was anticipating the room to be cleaned every couple of days but this didn't happen. Towards the end of our stay we requested the lady to make sure the room was cleaned and she asked us to keep it open, which we did. But when we got back in the afternoon it hadn't been cleaned, although the door had been closed. The room was smaller than I imagined and there were a couple of niggly faults - the key was difficult to get into the lock and the TV had a loose connection so that the picture would periodically get pixillated.

Lovely room, beautiful view, comfortable bed, really nice staff, nice welcoming bananas! Good breakfast apart from comments below
single use plastic containers for jam, marmalade etc - this shows a lack of concern for the environment, cheap sliced bread, no fruit at breakfast
4.3
Location is central along the harbour and the view of the harbour from the room was brilliant, that's the only good points.
Room was tiny, walls are paper thin to heard everything from neighbours, the locks on the outer and inner doors of the hotel and the room need replacing ASAP. Bed was a very small double and very cramped with me and my partner. Shower and bathroom are awful, the toilet flush needs a heraculean push to get it to work, the shower barely works and the wallpaper is falling away. No channels on the TV, no signal on every channel. Breakfast was very below average, very cheap ingredients used for sure, better off going to Wetherspoons around the corner.
