We had a wonderful time! Perfect location for skiing all areas. Easy access to Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons , Park City, and Salt Lake City. The home was located in an extremely quiet neighborhood with many restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The home was very clean and comfortable for our group of two parents and 3 adult kids. We can’t wait to return and would certainly stay in this property again. The host was very easy to work with and answered all requests/questions in a timely manner. Thanks very much for providing a fantastic place to stay!

I didnt get to stay at this property because an hour before I was due to check in I still hadnt received information on how to access the property so messaged the host and was informed that due to cross platform posting the property was double booked and the previous guest was not due to check out until the next day. He apologized, provided the number for customer service, and gave a full refund. The host did what they were supposed to do in the situation but it was one that could have been avoided entirely had they been doing their due diligence in keeping track of all the rental dates. My trip was in July and I made the reservation in April. Unacceptable.

Great place to stay for skiing, just minutes from the canyons, and even some food/drinks within walking distance of the house.

The rental unit was great, and Marcel was very responsive. The ski bus service needs to be drastically improved but it is feasible to get to all IKON pass resorts. It just takes a long time.

Wedding weekend
We had made arrangements for dogs/family to take a road trip for a wedding and the size and amenities suited us. We ended up not needing all the space and left the dogs at home but it was perfectly located near shops and easy access to hiway to get anywhere in the area. Clean and comfortable- since our family lives in the area may return for future holidays and to take advantage of more of the surrounding natural beauty.
Owner was very attentive and easy to get in touch with, thank you for a nice accommodating travel experience.

The house was an excellent choice for our holiday week visiting our daughter, who lived a few miles away. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking pots/pans/dishes and the dining room table and cozy couch were a perfect evening spot for family games. The huge TV screen also made for some great evening entertainment. The proximity to the mountains was awesome. Marcel was immediately responsive to any questions. All in all, a great stay.

We live in the area and needed a place to stay that allowed cats while some work was done on our house. I was happy with the accommodations at this location. The property was clean and roomy. The property owners clearly seem to care about their guests being comfortable.
I liked the openness of the living room and dining/kitchen. There is a first aid kid with the basics, pots/pans/utensils/dishes/etc. There is shampoo and conditioner if you forget yours. The master bed is of the soft and sinking into it kind, which is good or bad depending on your preference.
The glass doors in the kitchen that lead out to the balcony and a large open back yard do not have covers on them. I am fine with this, but I can see it being something some would find uncomfortable. The stairs leading up from the front door felt just a little steep. This is also not a problem for me, but something that could be important for someone with less mobility.
The area this property is located in is a quiet neighborhood and one that I would consider to be a 'safer' neighborhood in the greater Salt Lake valley than others (I know the area well, so I can say this for sure). It is near a lot of stores and restaurants, also not that far from the freeway.
It's not a neighborhood that would accommodate very loud gatherings, which is nice if you're looking for a quiet stay. There is a place to BBQ in the back as well as a large back yard, which might be great for people with dogs. There is space in the driveway for two cars, if needed.
Another thing for travelers is that the Murray train station is only a short drive from the property (you can park and ride), so for people who would like to make use of the light-rail and Front Runner system, it's in a decent spot for that.
Check in was slightly bumpy, but not bad. Very late on my second night, some people were trying to get into the property. I opened the door and found it was someone who I guess was checking in for the place below, but they were confused and thought this was theirs. It was kind of awkward and I think the other people were really embarrassed. This was really the only 'hiccup' in my stay, so I can't really complain all that much.
In general, I enjoyed the stay. I would definitely stay at this property again if I had need, or even as a nice quiet place to get away in my own area. I would recommend it for sure.

We enjoyed our stay. Well-equipped kitchen and grill with plenty of propane! Had family over and there was plenty of room around the big table to gather for dinner.

Having stayed in numerous VRBO properties, never had we encountered an owner so dedicated to making our stay the most comfortable it could be. Marcel exceeded all expectations for communication, responsiveness, and general hospitality.
The Industrial Guesthouse was exactly as advertised. We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed several movies on the large TV, a wonderfully comfortable king-size bed, great water pressure, and a convenient location! The property was very clean, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Unlike some property owners, Marcel provided more than ample shampoo, soaps, towels, and paper products.
The fenced backyard was perfect for our daughter's two pups who visited with us a few times.
We will definitely stay here again if our daughter remains in the Salt Lake area.

A washer/dryer, iron listed and I texted owner, asked if these we available and was told yes. When we needed the washer/dryer we couldn't find them. I texted owner. Was told he need to have someone come and program the code to get to the washer/dryer. We waited 24 hrs. I texted asked what was up. He finally said he had to make sure the area around the washer and dryer were clean and ready. If they are offered in the listing shouldn't they be readily available and where they were located? Also when we asked about the w/d he didn't get right back to us then told us my guests usually don't use the w/d until the end of their trip. At one point he said to us, "My guests usually bring clean clothes". My daughter had an accident and needed to wash some clothes and I shouldn't have had to explain that do him. I shouldn't even had to ask where they were. Also we were doing a project and needed an iron which was no where to be found. He finally brought over a brand new one. There was NO vacuum, broom or dust pan we had to ask for that also. There were no window coverings on French doors to the back patio or kitchen window. We were keeping the back patio porch light on because we didn't feel safe (to see if anyone came up the stairs) he texted said we had to keep it off. Shouldn't that have been in the house rules when we got there. There were none listed anywhere. The house says it's for up to ten people, there were a total of 4 drinking glasses and wine glasses. We don't drink alot available to use for dinners. Owner kept texting me asking how many people are in your group, who's are all the cars out there? We had no idea who was parking out front. He had cameras he should have been able to see. We didn't have anymore there than what I put in our info for rental. The house had a second set of renter's downstairs which we didn't know about till we got there. Owner said it's in the listing we couldn't find it. He said you have to click on details in one if the categories and it's in there somewhere. I got a phone call at 1 am one night. Didn't recognize the # so didn't answer. Got another call right back answered caller hung up. Was the owner. He texted me and said the renters downstairs said we are up there "dragging" something around and making unnecessary noises. I was putting together a puzzle and by son-in-law and daughter watching a movie. Others asleep. We felt like we were being interagated. No extra toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags.

We stayed at the Industrial Guest House for 6 weeks in September/October for remote work from SLC. The house was comfortable and provided everything we needed - fast internet, walking distance food options (Jinya, Shake Shack, etc...), easy access to the Cottonwood canyons for hiking.
Marcel was very helpful and quick at responding to our questions. He was often around the neighborhood, so it was easy to reach him to discuss anything we needed.

Everything is brand new. Decor is what I would call industrial chic. Great place if you want to sleep a lot of people. As someone who usually stays in Sandy, the drive out to the slopes wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, even though the location does seems far away.
