Hi! Made it to the house last night just in time to unload my things and headed into work. The house is adorable, there’s so much sunlight coming through & it’s so peaceful. I felt like Snow White this morning there were squirrels and birds and rabbits all around the yard.

Great tucked away property.

This is a nice and quiet home that we enjoyed staying in. We got lost trying to find the home however the host was wonderful and quick to answer and make sure we found it. The home was clean and cute.

Comfortable Airbnb. It's a small old farmhouse situated between a cemetery and construction lot at the end of a windy gravel road. It's noisy during the weekday sometimes with loud trucks in the next lot over. Other than that very quiet and secluded. Perfect if you're like us and value privacy. My husband and I stayed from November through January while we searched for a house to buy. There was one small incident with plumbing but Maggie had a professional there within an hour of calling her to fix the problem. We really appreciated that. Overall, it was better than having to rent an apartment.

A truly cozy cottage located in a quiet setting close to everything. It will not disappoint.

Maggie is very accommodating and responsive. Comfortable bed, cute farmhouse decor. Front porch swing to enjoy morning coffee and space for my pup to get his exercise. I loved staying at her place for a few nights, very close to downtown Kernersville, and a short drive to Winston Salem and Greensboro.

Such a great place to stay if you are traveling to Kernersville!

I loved staying here! It was so easy to hope on the highway and get into Winston/Greensboro. It was quite and great yard to have the pup run around in. I had absolutely no issues! Everything was great and I loved staying here. It truest felt like home for the 2 months I stayed! The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels. The house had everything you would need and more!

My family and I stayed in Maggie’s home for a long term visit and we appreciated the comfort her home offered! It was great for kids and was set up to make family stays easy. Maggie is a great host and very helpful too, which makes her home feel even more of a home away from home!

Adorable and Peaceful Cottage
I can’t say enough nice things about this house. It is beautifully decorated from top to bottom and you can tell a lot of thought went into every room to make you feel as comfortable as possible. As someone who travels away from home for months at a time there is no better place than here. All you need to bring are your clothes. Unpack and enjoy! I highly recommend this house for an extended stay. I loved lounging on the porch with my dogs. You can spend many an afternoon reading a book on the porch swing and enjoy a beautiful sunset to boot. The property is incredibly dog friendly with a fenced in area that my escape artists could not best. Kernersville is a cute little town with everything you need close at hand. You are 15 minutes from Winston and Greensboro and only 45 minutes away from beautiful hiking. If you spend any time in town definitely visit Granny’s doughnuts and Whits for their delicious custard. It’s bittersweet having to return home as I love this house so much. If I’m ever back in the area I will definitely be staying here.

This home was immaculate, charming and a great location for the purpose of our stay. It is near a well maintained cemetery. The street and the area are both darling and welcoming. We plan on booking again. The owner is wonderful, left us little surcee's, plenty of towels, soaps, etc. It has a washer and dryer, wifi and tv's. It was the home away from home. We really enjoyed it.
There's more but you can get an idea. For the most part it is a very quiet location. It is next door to a cemetery. Most people like this but it creeps a few people out. It's quiet and beautifully landscaped. In the back there is an 8 foot privacy fence which blocks a view of a business. On rare occasion they make noise with trucks during the day. Most guests never hear anything.
If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Thank you,

The house was well furnished and decorated. It was a little hard to find, but the house was close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. No problem with traffic noise or other noises from nearby

Our stay was fine and this place is cute and has great potential. BUT it is in desperate need of deep cleaning and some upkeep. Apparently this is a place where your dog can sleep in the bed with you but those of us not traveling with pets DO NOT appreciate this. I had to rewash my own sheets and pillow cases and blanket before I could go to bed my 1st night. We had to prewash any dishes we used because the cabinets smelled like an ashtray and the one with the plates even had spider webs in it. I text the owner /manager immediately about the dog hair and also about the smell. She definitely did not make me feel like she cared. bummer.

A very fine place to stay.
Feels like a home away from home. Very comfortable with lots of space. Slept great the entire week.

Down draws
We found home to be clean and cozy, very disappointed in the TV set up, very confusing . only 1 bath room affected our stay.

Maggie's Farmhouse is a charming, comfortable place to stay. It's off the beaten path but only a mile from Kernersville. Everything is provided for your comfort. It was pleasant to return to "our little house" at the end of a long day. As an older woman, I was a bit cautious going down the front steps, but all in all, I recommend this little house.

Location for us was PERFECT. we were comfortable. We left a list for owner of 10 repairs badly.
First time booking, was shocked at additional charges added after booked, increasing cost higher, charged more than ad from 117 to 125$ also, considering summer prices over and fall prices should be less. Cleaning up before we leave is natural for us but requirements were to the point we shouldn't be charged a cleaning fee. I would have been happy to change linens. We washed our towels and put them away. Repair and replace safety issues. I have arachnophobia so the SPIDERS kept my hubby and guests busy. Overall we'd come back.

The Good: very cutely remodels old farmhouse that was well stocked and has little extras. The beds were comfortable. The location is 5 minutes from the interstate and about 18 minutes from Downtown Winston and downtown Greensboro. The not so good; Previous reviews didn’t highlight that you are beside a railroad with a train that comes through horns blasting at 4:30 am through 8:30 am. If you are a light sleeper this place isn’t for you. In addition, a business beside the rental sounded like they were dropping/clanging dumpsters repeatedly from about 6 am on. You are literally between the railroad tracks and a cemetery. The porch was rotting but was covered with plywood. The front porch swing with exposed nails from it coming apart. We were required to purchase non-refundable travel insurance which added to the total cost of the rental. instead of a refundable deposit. That may not be the case for everyone but I disclosed that we had a child with special needs so that was the case for us.
In summary, great location, interior, but a little pricy for the neighborhood/noise and repairs that need to be made on the porch.

We loves this place! We all felt right at home once we arrived. Maggie has thought of everything to ensure her guest are comfortable, including cards and puzzles for extra entertainment.
The only item we were missing was a pizza cutter, but we don't see this as a negative, there were plenty of knives choices that did the job.

My best friend and I took a road trip from Florida all the way to North Carolina for a concert over New Years. The house was almost as expected and perfect for what we needed since it was just the two of us and my service dog, Zeus. Maggie was nice yet did take almost a whole day to respond back to me over text the day before we were about to check out. As well as that, the house is directly facing a graveyard. If you look out the kitchen you see headstones and the road the house is on is called Graves Road. Superstitious or not, it would have been nice to know beforehand. Recommend this house for small groups and couples, it really fit all of our needs and made us feel at home for the short time that we were there. The pictures are accurate as well, it really is this cute in person!

centrally located with great kitchen, plus laundry
We stayed in this farmhouse for 5 nights. The location was perfect for us, as we were visiting folks in both Greensboro & Winston-Salem, plus sightseeing all around northern NC. It is a very quiet location, even though it is in town. The property shares a fence with a cemetery, FYI. We found the beds to be very comfortable (two queens in one bedroom (red), and one queen in the other bedroom). Nice towels/ linens & pretty comforters, were also provided. The kitchen has been well-stocked with all the equipment one needs to REALLY cook. I like to set a pretty table, so the colorful serving bowls & dishes pleased me. The owner responded quickly to all communication, pre-reservation through check-out. We appreciated her complimentary surprises/gifts, too.

Myself, husband and 3 dogs stayed at this hidden away gem for 11 days recently. We traveled from CT, in search of our new home and state. We all had a wonderful time. We can not say enough about how welcomed we felt in this little farmhouse. All one has to do is go to the store for food and all the rest of the amenities are at your finger tips. Maggie made sure we knew she was just a phone call away if we needed anything( we did not). We would recommend a stay here for anyone! 5 stars from us all...including the pups :).

Charming southern farmhouse
My friend and I stayed here for 3 months for our job and we loved it. It is a perfect little, quaint house in a small NC town that is a close drive to bigger cities such as Winston-Salem and Greensboro. The house sits on a quiet lot with plenty of yard which was great for my dog (even has a fenced in portion!). We always felt safe in the house and enjoyed sitting out on the porch on the wooden swing! We highly recommend this for anyone needing a place to stay for a long stay or short weekend and is fully equipped with everything you need from towels to a cookie pan.

Quiet and convienently located
This house was a great respite away from all the business/activities I was in town for. Very comfortable space with about everything I needed there when I arrived. Grocery stores were just a mile away with quick highway on/off access.
