The house offers a clean environment, great location near the beach, well-equipped kitchen, and spacious layout suitable for multiple activities and family stays.

We loved the proximity to the beach. Even my two yo granddaughter could walk the whole 2 minutes over the canal bridge and beach path.
The house was somewhat dated, but everything we needed was there for our family of 9 to enjoy. Access to bikes, beach chairs and toys was a bonus.

Wonderful stay, thank you!

I don’t even know where to begin with this. The house was clean, well stocked, everything you would expect. What we didn’t expect was the best vacation we have ever had by a long shot. The location of the house is perfect in countless ways. We spent a lot of time on the back patio just enjoying nature and each other’s company. We saw an enormous gator, had to be at least 10 ft. We saw about six other gators too. The largest alligator was on the lawn one day when we walked outside. That was a little unnerving, but it went away after a couple of hours. We got PLENTY of pics and video of it while it was sunbathing. I think people should be aware that the signs are no joke. There are definitely alligators in Sea Pines, and especially in the lagoons near this house. The frogs, squirrels, raccoons, birds, gators, lizards, and many other animals were captivating. The location relative to the beach is awesome. It’s a very short walk over a bridge right beside of the house and then a short path straight to the generally empty beach. It was amazing to us how private the beach was. There were several times during the week that it felt like it was our private beach because you couldn’t see another person for hundreds of feet on either side of us. Willy’s house gave us a chance to experience something that most middle class families don’t get an opportunity to experience. We will be going back, and I suspect we will be going back a lot. Thank you for the best vacation ever!

Very responsive and kind host. The home is in a great location with a short walk to the beach. They provided bikes, beach chairs, beach toys and games. Well appointed with all that’s needed for your home away from home. I would recommend.

The property is clean, with plenty of room and comfortable furnishings. The location is amazing, with the beach a short walk away. Willy was very responsive to a couple of issues that came up. We’d definitely stay again!

We were close to the beach 🤗 and walks in the neighborhood were so peaceful without traffic. The biking was excellent.

The layout of the house is spacious, comfortable and friendly - lots of room for multiple activities to be going on. The one level floor plan would be a plus for many. Located in a quiet, hidden neighborhood, this house on Beach Lagoon offers many of what I would name 'best features' in HHI stays. It is a short walk to amazing South Beach. The wooded lagoon setting is a beautiful ecosystem of trees, flowers, birds and water creatures. You can literally park your car for days, and choose walking or riding a bike to get around Sea Pines, including destinations like the Salty Dog Cafe and Harbour Town. For golfers and sightseers, the location is convenient for accessing other parts of the island and going off island. A great location for family stays!
If I could add one thing, it would be a powder room. There is also a guest bungalow on the property, but I have not seen the inside of it. However, this is our second stay at this location - obviously we find it attractive!

We've stayed at Beach Lagoon many times and always have a great time. Being a 2 min walk to the beach is so convenient. This part of Sea Pines truly feels like your own private beach. We walked most mornings with our coffee on the beach. Then spend most of the day hanging out on the sand playing games, and enjoying the water. Being so close and not having the carry everything out to the beach is such a huge plus. The home was clean and fresh when we walked in. Wifi upgrades they have recently done were a welcome update for us.

This house is really well located in Sea Pines. You are a 2 minute walk to the beach on a quiet street that leads right to the fabulous, over 100 miles of bike trails on the island! The house is not one of the way too many "McMansions" on the island but it is very comfortable and has everything you need! We loved it!!!!

We had a wonderful stay. The house is clean and lovely. Located on a quiet street with excellent beach access. Great communication with owner made for a smooth check-in and check-out process. Would definitely stay here again.

If your priority in choosing a rental is being close the beach, golf, dining, and other fun activities, you will love Beach Lagoon! Located in a lovely, upscale Sea Pine neighborhood, Beach Lagoon is literally only steps (2-3 minute walk) from the beach and within walking distance of golf, the Beach Club restaurant, Harbor Town and miles of biking/foot trails. The house could use some updating, but is clean and spacious. Everything is on one level, so it’s a good option for folks who may have some mobility issues. The master suite has a double-sink bath, a king bed, and a walk-in closet. It’s at the far end of the house, so removed from the living areas and very quiet. The other two bedrooms share a bath with double sinks. Both bathrooms are dated and somewhat cramped but clean and functional. The two secondary bedrooms are bright and roomy with plenty of storage space.
The main living areas are comfortable with lots of seating. In addition to the large living room, there is a separate dining area and a cozy sunroom. We spent most of our time in the sunroom, enjoying its views of the lagoon and the many birds, turtles, and alligators that visited there. The living areas and bedrooms have sliders that overlook the lagoon. Unfortunately, several of the sliders either couldn’t be opened, or had screens that were damaged or ill-fitting, allowing insects inside the house. The kitchen was clean and has all the usual appliances, although the fridge and stove are obviously older (but worked fine!). Lots of pots and pans, dishes and glassware, etc. The HVAC system worked efficiently--we had both warm and chilly days so used heating and cooling with no problems. Nice big laundry area.
This house would work well for either a family or a friends group. There is lots of space for group activities but also options for quiet time and privacy. And the location just can’t be beat. Everything wonderful Sea Pines has to offer (most especially its amazing beach!) is right there!

This was our second stay in this house. It’s really big and has a a lot of areas for people spread to out. The beds are comfy and the kitchen has everything you need to make meals. We easily prepared a large Thanksgiving dinner. Best of all is the proximity to a great section of HHI beach. We will stay again!

This was our 5th stay in the house. It is in the perfect neighborhood in Sea Pines. And a short walk to the beach - a quiet and perfect spot on the beach. Willy is always wonderful and we are so happy with this gem.

This was a great property. Very spacious, clean, and the location is really great. Also had everything we needed in the kitchen and the rest of the house.
We have been coming to HHI for 5 years.
I would definitely rent this property again.

The house has a great layout and a great location, only a 2 minute walk to the beach, on a quiet street, close to bike path.
Willy the owner was quick to answer questions and address concerns before, during and after our stay. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because it is an older home & outdated but still a great place for a family vacation.
2.0 / 5.0
The house could use a little updating, and a wifi blaster could be used in the home to help the wifi reach the other side of the house, but the location is what makes this place fantastic. Very private location with wild life everywhere, and a 2 minute walk to the beach!
2.0 / 5.0
The owner was amazingly responsive and we couldn't have asked for a better location. Beautiful neighborhood, easy walk to beach. Long ranch-style layout of the home was perfect for needs..allowing privacy and work-remote rooms. Some aspects of the home were dated but any problems were quickly resolved. Highly recommended!

We have stayed in Sea Pines many times, and this was our favorite house yet. As the description says, the location is perfect, Beach Lagoon is very peaceful and secluded. The beach is a short walk, and not crowded at all at marker 31. We loved the character and layout of the house. It’s very comfortable and spacious, with views of the lagoon from every room. The house is well equipped and maintained. Willy, the owner, is a pleasure to deal with. We hope to return here again.

We stayed here with our adult children and 2 grandchildren and couldn’t have been happier. We’ve been staying in Sea pines for at least 10 years and this was one of our best trips. Beach access is perfect. Neighbors are all friendly. The lagoon in the back yard is teaming with wildlife and the house layout makes it perfect for napping while the rest of the family is making noise in the family rooms and kitchen. The layout is one of serenity and family focus. We will definitely want to rent here again.

If you are looking for adventure and relaxation in paradise, then look no further!!! This property has anything and everything you could ever wish for in a beach destination! Spacious and comfortable, this home sits on a lagoon which provides for excellent wildlife including resident gators! A short 2 minute walk and you are on the beach!! The island boasts miles of biking trails which allow for exercise and easy transportation to many destinations. If rain is in the forecast, no worries! The house has more than its fair share of games, puzzles, books, and movies for the entire family. The house is all one level which makes for an even better experience. You can't go wrong with this property. We hated to leave but are grateful for the memories!

This house was fantastic - we've been coming to HHI for 10 years now, adding family members each year so this year there were 7 of us (including a 1 year old) and this house was perfect for our crew! Quiet bedrooms but plenty of places for everyone to hang out together and play games etc. in the evenings, and so close to the beach we could walk over to look at both stars and sunrises! Even in June we felt like we were on our own private beach all day, and it was less than 5 minutes back to the house for lunch (and naptime!)

We had a wonderful Spring Break at Willy's home on HHI. The house is comfortable and very spacious. Because we were there in April the days were warm and the nights cool. It gave us the perfect opportunity to have a fire almost every night in the living room. Willy left us bikes and tons of beach chairs and beach toys. The house is surrounded by wildlife and we were serenaded by the frogs each night. The beach is a very short walk from the house which made it so easy to go back and forth. Willy was very easy to communicate with and he answered every question we had promptly. We would highly recommend this house when visiting HHI!

M family and I didn't know what to expect when arriving at the house. From the outside it can be somewhat deceiving how truly big the house is. We had four children 3 boys (17,15, and 6) and one girl (13). As we parked our cars in the driveway we were absolutely shocked how big the house was. As you walk in the kitchen is very spacious, with a dining room, living room, and sitting/TV room. As you walk through the house you get a sense of how big it is. The LONG hallway leads you to the master bedroom and two other rooms that are equipped with adjoining bathroom. My youngest loved the long hallway :-). The house itself is outstanding. It has literally has everything you need from towels to dish soap. The backyard is literally on a canal that house four live gators and lots and lots of (BIG) turtles. The house is situated less than 5 mins walk from the beach, the beach being private during our time no one was there. At night the stars were glaring, and ocean was roaring - it was beautiful. The owners of the house gave us the best things to do around the island, you can never be board or board all you want (for some relaxation). For anyone that is visiting Hilton Head I would HIGHLY encourage you to make this house your stay. As for me and my family this was the start to what I hope will be a family getaway tradition.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 months in the winter of 2017. We absolutely loved our time here. I think the Beach Lagoon community is one of, if not the best, locations in Sea Pines. If you are looking for a brand new "McMansion", then this place is not for you - but if you would like to experience a little bit of what life was like in the early days of Sea Pines, then I think you will enjoy this house. The house is mostly original, with some updates and has a great history. There is plenty of room and is very well stocked. You cannot beat the location - just steps from the best section of Hilton Head Beach! Both the owner and the property manager are top notch - very responsive and easy to work with. I would not hesitate to return.

We had a lovely time. The house was located in a perfect spot for relaxing. It was large and nicely decorated. We spent a good deal of time on the back patio facing the lagoon. You could hear the waves at high tide and it was a short walk to the beach. This part of the beach is very private with few other beachgoers. The house has all the amenities that anyone needs! We are planning to go again next year! :)

I booked this house for a week this summer. I was looking for a house that could sleep 8 plus my pup and close to the beach. Willy's place was perfect and his team had everything taken care of when we pulled in. I rented the house and the guest house. I had my two daughters (5 and 8) and there cousins (6 and 10) and they had a blast as well. Very short walk to the beach. Pool in sea pines is nice as well. I would certainly head back to this house.

We have been renting homes in Hilton Head for 25 years and this is the most family-friendly home we have ever stayed in! We loved being able to bring our dog and our 18 month old grandson had a ball with the well stocked toy closet! The location is perfect with easy access to the beach and having a garage full of beach toys, bikes and beach chairs was awesome! The home is very spacious and incredibly well stocked! Willy was great to work with and very helpful! We couldn't have been happier with our choice of beach houses! This was a a perfect place for us to gather and create wonderful family memories! ⛱

Great Location!!! Within 100 yards of the beach!!! Bridge across lagoon is directly next to house making going back and forth a breeze. The house is wonderfully "old school". Very comfortable with lots of room to "spread out".
Master suite is great, the two bedrooms sharing a bath are a great set up for kids or a couple with small kids, but does not work well for two couples as sharing the bath would be difficult.
All the "toys" are there from bikes through bocchee. The location on the beach is uncrowded and an easy walk to the beach club.
We did rent the guest cottage and it was great for our daughter, son-in-law and 2 month old granddaughter.
The house is great if you are ok with "old school". we are AND HAD A GREAT STAY!!!!
