My family really enjoyed staying here and it was essential to our trip. We visited both Zion & Bryce and it was conveniently located between both. We enjoyed every evening as a family in the home. Had everything we needed and contact with the owner was easy.

This house was perfect to access Zion, Bryce, Cedar Breaks and we were able to get to the north rim of the Grand Canyon as well. The house was super clean and had a ton of character. We would definitely stay here again!

The Sunset Cowboy Retreat was a perfect spot if you want to visit two National Parks, ideally located between Bryce and Zion.
The house was very clean and had all of the amenities that you would need for your visit. The house was a very comfortable place to relax at the end of a long day of hiking the trails of the parks.

The house was perfect for our family of 5 to each have space to spread out and unwind after long days of hiking in the national parks. Each kid had their own bedroom, but the boys liked hanging out in the bonus loft space. The living areas felt comfortable and easy to settle into. The kitchen was well appointed with lots of extra appliances and both plastic and glass dishware. While the kitchen was well appointed the bedrooms were more sparcly furnished, with just a bed and wooden chair in each room. It would be nice to have a small dresser in each but currently there is an open closet concept for hanging and a few shelves with cloth bins I would find hard to clean between users- so we lived out of suitcases. We loved the cowboy theme details that made it unique and fun. It was a great jumping off point for our trip!

Very happy with the location between Zions and Bryce. Nice house with Western decor.

Just a short drive to the east entrance of Zion and not much further to Bryce Canyon National Park. Even took longer trips from the house to Capitol Reef and Great Basin N.P.s. Check in was simple and the house is situated close to a small grocery store. Our group consisted of only 2 adults, so there was plenty of room for us. The kitchen was well stocked with practically anything one might need to cook a meal, which was handy during our stay. after several days of hiking, it was nice to have the washer & dryer, which were fairly new & extremely efficient. I would definitely stay at Sunset Cowboys Retreat again, the next time I'm in the area.

What an amazing home and location. We visited the Sunset Cowboys Retreat for Christmas with the intention of spending some time at the National Parks. We loaded up with groceries in Kanab on Christmas Eve and were ready for three days of adventure. On Christmas, we spent the day in Bryce Canyon. The perfect amount of snow with the roads open all the way to the top. (Unfortunately the visitor center was closed). The next day we visited the crowds of Zion NP. Surprisingly the busses were running this week and it took a while to get to the Narrows - but worth it. Out last full day was reserved for a "snow day" in the event of bad weather. We made it to Cedar Breaks NM and Brian Head. Loved the lava fields in Black Rock Valley - a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend this location and our hosts were wonderful! Can't wait to return some day to see more of the great wonders in Utah.

Super cozy and warm at the foot of Bryce. Thunderbirds, the coffee shop and a hike. Perfect location to walk to most spots if you're game. Quiet town but great midpoint for Bryce/Zion.

The Sunset Cowboys Retreat is in a great small town location to get away and enjoy all of the surrounding parks and attractions. Orderville itself is a cute town with a great coffee shop and stops to get whatever you may have forgotten. The house was well equipped, clean, and the host was very responsive. You share a driveway with another of their homes and we had some great neighbors to enjoy an evening outdoors with, but still had all the privacy we wanted. Highly recommend.

A great stay with some friends while visiting the National parks. We did a lot of hiking over the few days, and the house was a perfect place to rest our heads at night. The house was well equipped with linens and kitchen appliances, would absolutely stay again when in the area!

We were wanting to visit both Bryce Canyon and Zion national parks while not changing hotels every night, so we book the Sunset Cowboy Retreat for 3 nights. It worked out perfectly. Each park took about an hour to get to and a beautiful drive to both. My only problem was we got into the place late and it was very dark. We were told to look for mile marker 86 (I think), however the bushes covered the mile marker and there were no lights on, so we weren't quite sure if we were at the right place. But it all worked out and the place was clean and roomy. We would stay there again!

We have rented with VRBO for nearly 15 years. This was best well equipped kitchen we have experienced. All the cutlery and dishes matched. No hand me downs or garage sale stuff. Even the paper products are what you would use at your own home. Very clean. Located on the main hwy. But VERY QUIET in the evening. Great proximity to Zion and Bryce.

Our group of 6 had plenty of room, the place was spotless, the best stocked vrbo we have stayed. Coffee shop down the street is fantastic. Close to Bryce, Grand Canyon, and Zion. The owners could not have been nicer, very good communication. Would stay again tomorrow!

We were very comfortable at the Cowboy Cabin for my family of 6 adults. The showers were large with great water pressure. We were especially impressed with the kitchen and kitchen supplies. We had everything we needed to make our own meals. If you want to go out, I highly recommend the Thunderbird Restaurant in Mt. Carmel. The cabin was convenient to both Zion and Bryce Canyon. We thoroughly enjoyed an excursion to see the Slot Canyons with ROAM-East Zion. The excursion started and ended within walking distance of the cabin.

The house was large, clean and cool, which was heaven in the hot weather. Very conveniently situated between Bryce and Zion. The village was very quiet, only 1 restaurant in the neighbourhood. The only thing we missed in the house was a water cooker for tea, but we managed alright heating water on the stove. We slept well in the beds. All in all definitely recommendable.

What a great find!! Conveniently located to both Zion and Bryce, this cute house was very clean, comfortable and stacked with amenities. It’s a cute little town with plenty of side adventures within a few miles. The rate was very reasonable and the pictures and description of the property was “spot on”. Highly recommended and don’t think twice. It is a wonderful choice with no reservation.

Our family had a lovely stay. The property was well-kept, and the home was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities (especially for cooking and baking). It was convenient to visit Zion (45 minutes) and Bryce (60 minutes). Highly recommend.

Beautiful house! Great location if you are going to Zion and Bryce. Had everything we needed. Mattresses comfortable! Host was great to communicate with and responded promptly!! Only addition I would make would be to add a few outdoor chairs (only one there) to enjoy the porch and back yard area. Otherwise loved it!

We had a blast exploring the area and it was wonderful to come back each night to rest and refuel for the next big day. We had a wonderful experience. Thanks for the memories!!!

Unfortunately, we arrived late (9 p.m.) due to travel delays beyond our control, and we found that the house had not been cleaned. We were able to call the owner after contacting VRBO to access a phone number. Harmony was very responsive and came quickly (within 15 minutes) with a fabulous cleaning crew. She apologized profusely and provided a partial refund for our trouble. Apparently, there had been a mix-up regarding our reservation. We appreciated her quick and satisfactory resolution!
The home is darling and spacious. Our family of 5 adults was very comfortable and enjoyed our short stay there. It is a bit of a drive to Zion National Park, but much more affordable than accommodations closer to the park. We would definitely stay here again if traveling to this area.
Thank you for sharing your home with us.

House was awesome all around and in a fairly convenient location for access to both Bryce and Zion. It is located right off of a major road, but other than that is a great place to stay.

Wonderful owners. Well appointed house. Highly recommend!!! I agree with the comments of being prepared for the location. It has no affect on the stay but is good to know for expectations. We would absolutely stay again! Thank you!
