The house was as advertised. My friends and I are volunteers at USGA Championships and PGA tournaments around the country. We prefer to stay at houses instead of hotels. We spend more time together and have access to full kitchens. This house had 3 sitting areas for TV watching and morning coffee before heading out to the course. The only downside was that it was located next to a major road with trucks going to work early in the morning. The plus side of that was the large picture window in the front where we watched the Amish horse drawn buggies coming and going. The house was minutes from Bird in the Hand and, ahem, Intercourse communities which had Amish wares to see. My fiancé spent some time in the quilting stores. Overall, a great experience.

Perfect house for our needs!

We are a group of 8 friends from high school. We have been going on these long weekend trips for the past 30 years. This house by far was the nicest and best equipped house we have rented. Gradation location close to everything, attractions, shopping and restaurants. We would highly recommend this home.

We had plenty of room to spread out all over the house as there were 7 of us and had a great time! Rooms and bathroom were very spacious. If we make it back to Sight and Sound, we will stay here again! We were grateful the house was super clean.

The home was absolutely gorgeous and very convenient to explore the Lancaster Countryside. We had six Adults comfortably sleep and relax at the property. The kitchen was very well stocked and the house was very clean. The host was extremely accommodating and easily accessible. We had a health emergency delay for our arrival and our host was very understanding and accommodating to our change in schedule. I would definitely return and recommend this property.

This was our first stay at a VRBO. We celebrated our 50th Anniversary with our children and their families and opted to stay here rather than a hotel as the VRBO presented a more communal experience rather than what we'd get at a hotel. When my son was the first to arrive, he texted the rest of us saying, "This place is NICE." When I asked him to define nice, he used the word elegant. And when we got there, we all agreed on how right he was. The bedrooms were spacious and the house was well kept. The appliances provided were all modern and clean. Lots of soaps, shampoos and towels were supplied in each bathroom and the kitchen was loaded with silverware, plates, dishes, glasses coffee cups as well as an abundant supply of COFFEE! (BYO sugar/sweetener) All you need to supply is food and there's a grill out back for whatever you want to BBQ. There are 2 large flat screen TV's with a low tier cable package for your viewing pleasure as well as provided Wifi if you've got NETFLIX. The house is well situated between Hershey and Lancaster for the excursion of your preference. Just be aware you're in Amish Country, so be alert for the horses and buggies you may encounter. We all enjoyed our stay and this VRBO will be the gold standard by which we will compare others when we stay elsewhere.

Six adults traveled to Smoketown for shopping, sightseeing, and time together. We found the house immaculate and perfect for 6 adults. Location makes for easy drives to other communities. Quilt stores are my addiction of choice, and I found several really good ones. Nancy was quick to respond to our questions and the one request we had. We will stay here again if we come back. House was large, clean, and very well stocked with essentials. Close to major attractions. Enjoyed the Bird in Hand Family Restaurant. Kids pay $1.25 per age year. They can eat anything off the kids buffet or regular buffet. Try it.

Had a wonderful stay! Rented both properties as our large extended family has an annual Christmas Weekend the first weekend in December. Our host graciously agreed to allow me to host breakfast on Sunday morning and the house was large enough for all of us to gather and end our weekend on a high note. Thank you for maintaining lovely properties! Thinking about next year already!

Could not have chosen a better location or better host. The property was convenient to almost everything we had on our list of places and events to visit on our Amush Country Vacation. The two bedrooms with private baths and the two main floor bedrooms sharing a bath was great for the dynamics of our group. It was a perfect vacation and a place to relax, cook a few meals and just socialize with our friends.

Soooo close to all the main attractions! This house was the perfect amount of comfort for our 2 families during our stay. Downstairs has basically a complete apartment, providing plenty of room for our group. The outdoor BBQ was in great condition (we've stayed in places where it wasn't functioning) and the wood burning fireplace was a great touch for the chilly evenings. Easily accessible to all attractions, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. Really a great stay!

This home met all our expectations. Easy ride to Hershey World and Philadelphia.

Property was excellent! Updated, extremely clean and spacious. All questions were answered in a very quick fashion and our request were accommodated without issue. Location was great, close to everything we were interested in such as outlets, shady maple, and sight seeing. Highly recommend.

Overall we had a great experience staying at this property. It was much larger than expected and well updated throughout. The beds were comfortable and the furniture was recent and of nice quality. The location to our daughter’s wedding was awesome. We were just minutes away from the venue. Some have criticized this location because the pictures of the back yard have not been updated - which is true. But we enjoyed the back yard and patio anyway. It was great to see the bunnies and birds each morning while we had coffee. They provided a Keurig and plenty of k cups for our use. We grilled out on the 4 burner grill - but a note to the owners - it really needs to be cleaned due to the frequent grease fires and flare ups. Burner #4 is in need of repair and would not light. But honesty, that is knit picking at this fine home. Others mentioned the location on a busy road. That is correct, but road noise was minimal to none as it sits up high on a hill. Lots of horse and buggies to see! The basement had a beautiful wet bar - and even though there was no AC directly to there - it was cool and comfortable. Just run the dehumidifier to keep it even more comfortable/. Private baths to both of the rooms in the basement was a great touch.

The house is absolutely beautiful! Plenty of room for everyone. Open floor plan is great and the downstairs is wonderful and cool. Plenty of parking. The kitchen is plentiful with dishes and utensils. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely go back. Nancy is right there to help if needed.

This was our second time at this lovely, well-equipped home, and we have decided it's our favorite rental in the area. We have lots of family in the area, and like a "home base" for us and our adult children. This home is very well equipped and is much larger than it looks from the outside. Lots of common spaces for everyone to spread out. And the owners are lovely hosts! We will rent this home again in the future!

We are 4 couples that try to rent this house twice a year. The house is comfortable and spacious. The property is well maintained and always very clean. The host is very friendly, although we have never had a problem while staying there, he has said to call if we need anything or if there are any issues with anything. We are looking forward to our return.

This was the perfect house for our couples getaway. Close to Sight and Sound theater and American Music Theater with everything you could ask for in a rental house. Beautifully and comfortably furnished, super clean and plenty of space for TV,reading or games. We’ll equipped kitchen and nice outdoor space. Our host was super helpful with ideas for dining. I’m usually the trip planner for our group and this house got rave reviews!

The house is well stocked. Clean and spacious. The beds are comfortable. The basement area is musty and damp. The pictures were misleading. The dining room table was not the same as was pictured and the chairs were broken in the back of the seat cushion. The furniture and pillows could use an update or a steam cleaning. The backyard photo online is very different from what is there now. The location is on a very busy street and noisy and car headlights are constantly coming in the living room front windows.

This was a beautiful home that was well supplied. It is in a good location for easy access to visiting the area. We enjoyed our stay.

My family and I had an amazing time staying at this house. It was well thought-out, had more standard amenities then most VRBOs ( shampoo, soap, dishwasher pods, paper towels, laundry detergent, as well as a fully stocked (not with food but amenities) kitchen complete with Keurig pods. You couldn’t beat the location, and it was very clean and updated! The only nit we could find was that it’s not air conditioned downstairs. While the temperature wasn’t really outrageous since it was a basement, it could be uncomfortable/ humid for some. However, it really shouldn’t stop you from renting and enjoying this home!
