Laura was amazing. Her communication was above and beyond. She was proactive in her communication, prompt to response and very nice. The cottage was exactly as described and well worth it. We had a beautiful view, it was very private and it's right in the middle of everything. We were about 10-15 minutes away from Rum Point and 20 minutes away from the Georgetown/downtown area. I would absolutely come back to visit.

Host responds promptly and made sure we had everything we needed. Property was exactly as described, clean, quiet, and secluded - exactly what we were looking for as we prefer to stay away from tourist traps. Home is centrally located on the southern coast off the island so all points of the island are within a 30 minute drive.

Words can’t describe the peace and tranquility that was felt being on this oasis. You have to experience it for yourself. Thank you for having us.

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful property. It is on a side of the island that is away from the major hotels so it is not crowded or pretentious. Very close to amazing public beaches and awesome restaurants. We swam right from the dock and took advantage of the paddle boards and walking the beach from the property. Laura had great communication and it was overall a very easy process. We would absolutely stay again. Great value for the price. Thank you Laura!

We had such an amazing week here. So peaceful and the property was gorgeous. Loved the short walk to pool overlooking the ocean. My husband loved snorkeling off the pier.

We could not ask for anything more!!!! Away from the fast pace near 7mile beach yet close enough to visit. The Cottage is exactly as described, we spent a lot of time snorkeling, paddle boarding and relaxing on the property. The view was unbelievable from the beach, deck and from the cottage both inside and out!!!

We had an excellent stay in Coconut Cottage. The house was clean and the perfect space for two people. The access to the pool was a great feature to have. The property manager made sure the pool was clean when we got there. The views from the cottage were beautiful and we were able to use the supplied paddle board to float in the crystal clear water. You will feel you are on your own private beach. The owner gave us great recommendations for restaurants and excursion opportunities. We had a wonderful vacation and hope we can go back again.

The best vacation rental we've stayed at! The cottage is spacious, clean and lovely. Beautiful views. We had the whole property to ourselves. Which includes the private beach and swimming pool at the main house..we took a nature walk and explored the property. We felt so spoiled the whole time. Definitely rent a car and explore the island!

Coconut cottage was a beautiful property on a perfect part of the island.
We wanted to be away from the hustle of 7miles beach and nearer to the calm community of Boddentown.
The sea grass made for a quick jump over to the sandy beach so bring water shoes, but that is the way of the island!
Wayne and Ziggy were helpful and the lizards were adorable.
Quiet, and clean but also just a little traffic noise on the way to work in the morning. Happy we chose to stay here-

Cottage sits literally on the beach with direct access to the south shore. The cottage has good access to the main property, including its wonderful pool. While the cottage amenities are basic, there is good shopping nearby. The owner and local property management are first-rate ans easy to communicate with. We would absolutely rent it again.

Oh this place…outstanding all over. The beach, the views, pool, tennis courts and the cute little guesthouse with a nicely stocked kitchen. All just perfect to enjoy the laid back cayman experience. We stayed on seven mile beach for our honeymoon many years ago. We wanted a little slower pace and more privacy which is exactly what we had here. Rented a jeep and went all over the island including our favorite seven mile beach and found the public beaches east to find, plenty of space and always shady trees to lie under as well as clean sunny beaches. So nice to come back to our private space at the end of the day. The owner gave us excellent food recommendations which we agreed wholeheartedly with! We used the paddle boards on calm days and walked the beach, neighbors were friendly when we saw them which was rare! Just the best! Only thing I could wish for was space to be able to bring all our teens back for a family vaca here. Don’t pass this place up! We hope to return! Thank you thank you for the best unwinding week ever!

Laura is great to deal with. Superb response time to any and all requests and questions. Great at giving local information ahead of the trip too.
We were scheduled to visit the Coconut Cottage April 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide, we had to postpone. Laura was very accommodating and we were able to do so with no problems. Months later we had to cancel our trip, and once again, Laura was quick to reply and accommodated our request. We were very sad we couldn't go and do plan on staying there eventually.
I can't say enough about how wonderful Laura was in handling all of our requests and reschedules and really putting our needs first. Highly recommend.

We were seeking a quiet getaway for 2, and couldn’t have chosen a better location! The best of both worlds - providing ample opportunity to do as little or as much as you want! Beach combing to beach bumming.... Snorkeling, swimming, fishing, stand up paddle boarding, shell collecting, tennis - all right on-site! Or, floating in the pool, sunbathing on the wicker poolside loungers, relaxing on beach chairs in the shallows, waves cresting at the reef, swaying in a hammock on the shaded dock.... We witnessed more wildlife than people! Lizards & iguanas, sea birds (Frigate, Pelicans, Cranes little tropical birds. Let’s not forget the doves and wild chickens to serenade you!) Speaking of chickens, they do get loud, but luckily the hurricane-grade windows keep out the morning noise. We saw lots of marine life on-site, including sea turtles, stingrays, sea cucumbers, coral, small reef fish of various colors, conch, little crabs, and the most multi-colored hermit crabs along the dockside. There were also needle fish, tarpon, bonefish, barracuda, & yellowtail snapper for the fisher people. The cottage was well appointed, with gorgeous views. Beautiful, functional, and a great place to call home while on vacation. Wayne & Ziggy were incredibly helpful and personable when you sought to chat with them, but otherwise wildly unobtrusive. Besides being away from bustling crowds, we were also centrally located to many of the island’s other offerings, including amazing Oceanside restaurants. Our favorites include The Lighthouse (fab for eating in, or outstanding takeout pizza to enjoy at the cottage. They offer gluten free options for fellow gf travelers! And the sushi was beyond fresh & delicious!) We also enjoyed Tukka (especially if you want to feed the Frigate birds!) Over the Edge does fresh seafood right (I’m partial to the conch steak!), and Eagle Ray’s for lion fish tacos and other laidback fare. Rum Point is a nearby area to enjoy an excursion with the stingrays, or a visit to Starfish Point. Kaibo for occasional live music and sand in your toes during your meal. So many things to do, or not do, Rest & Relaxation, to romping with wildlife or Rocking & Rolling.... But particularly beneficial to just get away from it all. I’m sure we’re forgetting to include some of the awesomeness here, but you will just have to come see for yourself! (However, we call first dibs!) THANK YOU Laura & family for sharing this piece of paradise with us!

Coconut Cottage
Thank you Laura & Marc for allowing us to stay at your wonderful little cottage on Grand Cayman. The cottage was perfect for both of us and the property with beach etc was fantastic. We snorkeled everyday, relaxed , soaked up some sun and the total ambiance of BEACH life. During the entire 7 days we only saw three people on the beach and all of them were neighbors. Laura and Marc are gracious hosts and even made possible an introduction to the Chef at TUKKA..
Coconut Cottage is the ideal spot to get away from the crowded hustle and bustle of 7 mile beach and Georgetown , but if you want to visit 7 mile beach etc, it's only a 20 minute drive.
We will definitely return to the Coconut Cottage on our next visit to Grand Cayman.

Heaven on earth
This is just an incredible place. I loved being in Bodden Town - in between North End and Seven Mile area - convenient. I loved looking out at the gorgeous view every day. I never saw another human near the property the entire time we were there. I took the paddle board out every day. Is it a "pristine" beach? No, but the view is amazing, and my family brought water shoes. The water is still crystalline blue/green. If you like being near lots of people, might not be the place for you, but there are restaurants within a couple of miles, and it's a short drive to excursions on the island. We will be back.

The cottage itself is cozy and complete. The master bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was complete with cutlery and cooking utensils however bring your own shower supplies and extra toilet paper etc.The pool in front of the big villa was great but the hammock was old and broken and we could not use it.
One of the reasons we chose this place was the water in front however we could not step into the water due to the dry sea grass and organic debris floating. The beach was inaccessible as it was not cleaned with piles of organic debris, sharp piny seeds all along the murky water. We could not even walk along the beach/sit by the beach.
So if you plan to stay indoors only and drive to 7 mile beach (30 mins) this place is for you. Don't expect to do any water activities by the cottage.

Paradise for Two!
This was our first trip to Grand Cayman and we couldn't have been happier with the cottage located outside Bodden Town. If you are looking for a location that is completely relaxing, this is it. We saw at most a dozen people all week from the property/beach. We woke up everyday, had a cup of coffee, and watched the sunrise from the pool deck. It was such a treat having the pool, tennis court, paddle boards, beach, and water all to ourselves. The cottage works perfect for two people. We bought food and enjoyed eating in for breakfast and lunch and would go out for dinner. We love good food and our favorites were the Czech Grill Inn (2 minute drive) with BYOB - very casual but solid food, Luca on 7 Mile Beach for Sunday brunch is amazing (we even went back for dinner on our last night), and Tukka on the east end. Bottom line, don't second guess it and go with the cottage! You will not be disappointed. We will be back. Thank you Laura for all of your help

This place is amazing! If you are looking for a place to stay and focus your attention on your mate this is the place. We just got back from being there over 4 days and 3 nights. The beach is literally 50 yards away from this cottage and we saw 2 other people walking on the beach over our entire stay. It is total seclusion with the ocean all to yourselves! Nightlife is an easy 20 minute drive away and the Czech Inn Grill is less than 5 minutes away and a great place for lunch. I would give it 10 stars if I could!

Coconut Cottage is a Pease Bay Paradise on the laid-back side of Grand Cayman
We booked Coconut Cottage as a last-minute plan due to Hurricanes in other parts of the Caribbean. It was a great spontaneous decision. The Homeowner was very easy to work with, providing answers to all questions quickly and providing many items that increased the joy of the stay, such as boogie and paddle boards, snorkel equipment, fishing poles, etc. The cottage is adjacent to the Homeowner's larger property and as no one else was renting at the time we were able to enjoy the large outdoor areas with patios, a great infinity-edge pool, and the dock with palapa and hammock. The cottage and surroundings were exactly as described and as shown in the pictures. We didn't see but a couple of people the entire time we were on Pease Bay, which made it quite nice for us. The snorkeling and water clarity here was better than at Rum Point, Spotts Beach, and Seven-Mile. I hope others that stay here will treat the reef with complete care so that it remains that way. Thanks for the most peaceful, romantic, secluded and uncomplicated vacation we've had in a long time.

Great Central location! Allowed us to easily drive to Rum Point and to Georgetown for excursions. Enjoyed the restaurants on the south and east side of the island. Beach and location very private.

COCONUT COTTAGE ON POINT!
A Fabulous oasis for those who long for a private and relaxing experience, resplendent with modern amenities and spectacular finishes.
When I saw that the Hosts left a bottle of Cayman Rum on the counter, I thought what a wonderful touch! The private beach, infinity pool, tennis court, and hammock under the Tiki Hut dock was tremendous!
I better book it for next year now.
