About this house rental
Ideal vacation property for those looking to get away from it all, yet wanting to be close to all the activities that Hot Springs National Park has to offer (see below). This is our third of three Lake Hamilton vacation properties. We additionally offer two three-bedroom lakefront homes (two on the main channel) nearby. We have been hosting since 2006, during which time we have worked to make each year better than the last for not only our returning guests but our new guests as well.
Lake access is completely flat. No steep driveway or walkway like lots of lake properties. Head straight out to enjoy the lake. From the back deck enjoy direct views of Music Mountain, part of Hot Springs National Park.
It's like having the lake to yourself in our quiet cove. Enjoy kayaking without the choppy main channel wake.
The house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, full kitchen, large living room with DISH TV and wireless internet.
Please contact us with any questions you might have regarding our home, Lake Hamilton or Hot Springs in general.
We want to make sure that our house is the perfect fit for you and your group! Lake levels on Lake Hamilton are lower from November until March, so most especially contact us for reservations during this time. We do still have great National Park views, but we can't offer fishing or boating during these months.
Please contact Stan with any questions whatsoever, regarding minimum stays or rates. Also check to see if our pontoon boat is available for rental during your stay!
Here are some of our favorite activities when visiting Lake Hamilton and Hot Springs National Park:
• Since our home is lakefront, you can enjoy Lake Hamilton just steps from the back door! We also have one of the few spots on the lake with unobstructed views of Hot Springs National Park!
• Use our boat dock for swimming or docking your boat! We are in a quiet cove, so there is no wake and it's perfect for floating, swimming and sunning!
• If you rent a boat and dock it at our place, you can enjoy water skiing, tubing, wake boarding and all the fun that time on the lake in a boat brings!
• Many of our guests love to fish right off the boat dock.
• If you don't rent a boat but want the experience of being out on the water, try out the Belle of Hot Springs River Boat. The Belle offers cruises for either lunch or dinner. Treat yourself to beautiful Lake Hamilton and let someone else steer you around the lake!
• National Park Duck tours are another option for getting out on the water and exploring Lake Hamilton if you don't have your own boat. It's an amphibious vehicle which will take you on a tour of town before splashing into the water and cruising around the lake.
Garvan Woodland Gardens
• Garvan Gardens is a year-round attraction
• No matter what time of the year you visit, the gardeners have made sure that the flowers and landscaping make the most of that season's local shrubs, flowers and trees.
• Bring your family and bring the camera for some spectacular photography backdrops!
• At Christmastime, don't miss the extensive light display!
• Hidden Gem: The Anthony Chapel.
What do Eureka Springs, Hot Springs, and Bella Vista have in common? Yes, two of them have “Springs” in their names, and they’re excellent towns to visit, of course, but there’s something else they have in common. All three are home to similar chapels. The facades of these chapels are all slightly different, and the interiors are not identical, but what they have in common is that they successfully unite the beauty of the outdoors with the details of man-made ingenuity and focus on giving visitors a peaceful nondenominational experience in a setting that exalts both the wider natural world and the inner spirituality of their visitors. Not to be missed!
Oaklawn Racing and Gaming
• Oaklawn Park is a world-class thoroughbred racing course which hosts live racing from January to May. Don't miss the Racing Festival of the South, with the Grade I Arkansas Derby (known for producing various Kentucky Derby winners). You can now also head to Oaklawn to watch and bet on the Kentucky Derby the first weekend in May!
• If you're not able to visit in the spring, don't fret as you can still wager in comfort and style at the Oaklawn Gaming Casino, which often features local live music.
Historic Downtown Hot Springs (P.S., take Blacksnake road back into town from our home and you'll not only go through the National Park to get there, but you'll miss all the traffic!):
• By far the most popular attraction in Hot Springs is the National Park (which by the way was designated as a reserve by the federal government in 1832!! That's 40 years before Yellowstone!) Be sure to walk down world famous Bathhouse Row. The Fordyce bathhouse has been beautifully restored and serves as the Visitor Center for the National Park.
• Relax and take your mind off your worries with a bath from the natural hot mineral waters that seep to the ground and give the area its name. The Quapaw Baths as well as the Buckstaff Baths give you the opportunity to treat yourself and step back in time to a world of luxury and pampering.
• While downtown, you'll find a various shops, restaurants and art galleries when you want to take a break from all the sightseeing.
• When you're downtown you'll see the steam rising from the water as it bubbles up from the ground. Yes, it's really really hot!
Activities for the children:
• Just down from the National Park on Whittington Avenue you'll find the Arkansas Alligator Farm and Petting Zoo.
• Our lake home is only minutes away from Mid-America Science Museum. It's another hidden gem of Hot Springs and the kids will love it. There are lots of interactive displays which teach science at the same time!
• It wouldn't be a town for tourists with out some good old fashioned mini-golf!! Our home is minutes from Volcano Falls Mini Golf. Other themed options include Pirates Cove Adventure Golf and T-Rex Indoor Mini Golf (they've got you covered if you need to escape the hot summer weather).
• Magic Springs Theme and Water Park has been a mainstay in Hot Springs since 1977 (they did have a brief hiatus) but it's back and as popular as ever. Take the kids to all the amusement park rides, or enjoy the water park to beat the heat. Check the Magic Springs website to read about the summer concert series at the Timberwood Amphitheater throughout the summer. With genres ranging from classic rock, country, Christian to contemporary, park visitors are sure to find music to their liking this summer at Magic Springs!
Nightlife:
• Hot Springs has no shortage of entertainment spots for the adults in your group.
• For those theater fans, Hot Springs also has you covered! Try Maxwell Blade's Theatre of Magic & Comedy, Hot Springs Bathhouse Dinner Theatre, Hot Springs Central Theater or the Pocket Theatre.
Annual Events:
• If you're visit coincides with March 17, check out the Worlds Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Head down to Bridge Street downtown and try to get a good viewing spot! I hear they are hard to come by!
• The Hot Springs Motorcycle Rally roars into town in early September. Visitors from all over come for a parade and various concerts.
Yes, Even More Fun Things to Do:
• Various wineries operate downtown for all the wine lovers who visit. Check out the Winery of Hot Springs, Bath House Row Winery or Spa City Tropical Winery and Gifts.
• Did you bring your jacked up Jeep? Head straight to Superlift Off Road Vehicle Park and get muddy! (Send us pictures, please)

This beautiful property nestled right off of Lake Hamilton was better than described! The house is right on the water with kayaks included that made our stay, peaceful, and so enjoyable. It was beyond clean and our host Stan was more than accommodating with constant communication. It was spacious and included everything we could possibly need with abundant amount of towels , bedding , kitchen equipment, etc. with quality and luxury. we will definitely stay here again the next time we vacation in Hot Springs! ….Book today, you won’t be disappointed!

The house was very roomy for just the three of us, but it was comfortable and gave us options while we were in with the rain. Being on the lake was great and one morning we got to enjoy the kayaks. The only thing I'll keep in mind for next time is that the road the house is on seemed to have a lot of traffic throughout the day. But other that that the house was lovely and we'd come back next time we go to Hot Springs!

Everything was exactly as advertised. The large shaded deck, kayaks and some decent fishing were added bonuses.

I loved everything about our stay. Very clean. The property owner was courteous and helpful with anything we needed. The home was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. The view was outstanding. It's close to everything. The best part was jumping in the kayaks first thing in the morning while the fog was still on the water. Just gorgeous.

This is a rely nice house and property with a boat platform/deck for docking your boat and enjoying the outdoors. The house is beautifully decorated and stocked and has a great view of the water and mountains. The host was easy to work with and we would recommend this rental for all interested.
5.0
During previous days to Hot Springs the drive around the Mountain cost 30 to 45 minutes at times and having this home close to amenities was much better. Additionally, the Lake off the back and provided kayaks made for more fun than we originally anticipated.

We were in Arkansas for a funeral and wanted a nice location near our family in Arkansas. The house was beautiful and check in was easy. We had car trouble on our way to Arkansas and had to place the car in the shop. This caused us to need a longer stay and Mr. Stan made it easy for us to book an extra night. We had a few family members visit us at the house after the funeral. There was plenty of room to converse and spend time. Maybe we’ll be able to return in the future for a more joyful occasion and take a swim in the lake. The only down side was the house isn’t 100% wheelchair accessible. There are two tables near the bedroom and bathroom. One should be moved so the wheelchair can move more freely. Also a shower chair and a removable shower head. The shower has a built in seat but there are no handrails to help you up and down.

Nice house, close to town. Lots of birds in the yard. Big windows with lake view. All decorated for Easter!

We really enjoyed this amazing property. We went when temps were 28 to 48 degrees so couldn't enjoy the lake water, but definitely took in the wonderful views and sat on the back deck.
Great living room layout, ample seating everywhere for eating, terrific appliances, cookware, utensils, pillows and bedding.
Excellent water pressure and quick hot water. Extra fridge for drinks was a huge plus to keep everyone out of kitchen while cooking. Dish TV was great to watch March Madness basketball and other shows. Thanks to Stan for being so responsive. We had a great time!

My family and I decided to take a relaxing long weekend trip to Hot Springs. This house was the highlight of our trip. It’s just what we needed. There was 5 of us; two adults, our 21 year old son and twin 4 year old sons. The house was extremely spacious; yet, it was cozy at the same time. It backed right up to the lake which could be viewed via the open windows all along the backside of the home. I just loved it. I told my fiancé repeatedly I want our next home to be just like this. It would be great for a family trip or even a ladies weekend. It’s just the perfect little home; and the host was amazing, always one text away.

Our family spent the week between Christmas and New Year’s. The fireplace was on and the Christmas tree was lit when we walked in. This was the perfect home to relax with plenty of sitting space including on the backyard deck. The view was great for morning coffee. Location was convenient to Hot Springs for exploring the town and hiking. I would love to come back in the summer.

This house is large and beautiful. Can’t get much cleaner and the view of the lake is both stunning and peaceful. We saw swans, ducks and Canada geese, along with turtles. The falling leaves is a site that that to behold. We will come again. Stan and his mother are friendly and communication couldn’t have been better.

Lake view on Lake Hamilton
I booked this vacation rental last minute and I must say it was great. The home is very beautiful and peaceful. We didn't get a chance to do much fishing because on the wind but we enjoyed the view. The owner was very nice and easy to reach. It's a must that I book again.

Highly accessible waterfront property
We were there March 9-13 with six people, ages 16 - 80, one with mobility issues and using a walker.
There are two covered parking places and room for at least two additional cars. The exterior of the home is well kept and very inviting. They have all the lights on for you. There is one step up into the house, and you walk in to an eating, kitchen, and seating area. This table seats 6. The island also has room for four. There is a laundry room with an extra refrigerator/freezer off of the kitchen. The area is VERY spacious. We had 3-4 people in the kitchen doing meal prep with no issues. We used all of the kitchen appliances and everything worked. There was plenty of cookware and utensils. Beyond this is another dining area and the family/living room. There are two GIANT couches and a chair and a half that can seat two. The TV and fireplace/heater worked great. The space is wide open and surrounded by windows facing the water. The three bedrooms are large and bright and well appointed. There is plenty of bedding and pillows in all of the rooms, and the beds were comfortable. The master has a great walk in shower and a bonus room with access to the outside. There is lots of space on all around the bed. The 2nd bedroom is big and has a walk in closet. It also has a door to the outside with a table and chairs on the porch. The third bedroom is only slighly smaller and has great east facing windows for light. The two thermostats also worked great. We were on the water one day, and it snowed several inches the next, so we needed to adjust the thermostats accordingly. Out the back door, you have a spacious deck. There are three steps down to the deck which is constructed out of Trex or wood alternative. No splintering or rot. The deck has a table for six, a propane firepit table, two loungers, and a propane grill. We used the grill, but not the firepit. Beyond the deck and down 3 steps is a level yard out to the dock. It is also made out of the wood alternative with a small table and two chairs on it. Two single person kayaks are available. We used one of those and brought our own SUP. There are two ladders to access the water.
We were very plesantly surprised at the size and space of the house and the location was great. We were 15 minutes from Bath House Row and the shopping., 20 minutes from the horse races and great lake front restaurants. Stan was a fantastic host and very responsive. We had a wonderful stay.

Overall, this property was perfect for a low key New Year stay!
The house feels like a home, with warm touches and a cozy atmosphere. If you are gathering with friends and family, look no further because this property has an expansive kitchen, laundry, private bedrooms, and exceptional great room facing the lake. The outdoor decks and green space are perfect for summertime fun.
Stan was in communication and check-in/check-out was a breeze. Overall, the property is as advertised and in my opinion, so much more! The only slight drawback I found with this property was a bit of a drive to conveniences.

Best of Everything
You’ll know this property is well loved right away and it won’t take long for you to fall in love with it, too. The pictures *almost* do it justice, but it really is even better in person. There are plenty of lovely spots for a large group to spread out in, both inside and out. The backyard is large with beautiful trees and a nice deck with table, chairs and loungers. You'll find plenty of utensils, cooking dishes and serving pieces in the large kitchen, as well as a great collection of spices. You’ll love the oversized and comfy furniture in the living room overlooking the lake. The finer points of hospitality aren’t missed here – there’s a varied selection of interesting books for readers, the bedding is nice and the mattresses are great. We stayed mid-December, and were met with a warmly lit home complete with Christmas lights, a small Christmas tree and tasteful holiday touches throughout the home – this property is best of both with what the home itself offers AND gifted hospitality. Even if winter water levels are low, you still have that lakeside feel, and the view is still lovely. Pick this one!

Autumn Color AsAn Inviting Backdrop
The property has been remodeled with a nicely updated kitchen that is well equipped. The furniture is of good quality, comfortable and stylish . We liked the tasteful artwork and whimsical bunnies as well. I think the photos reflect the essence of this somewhat upscale furnished home quite well. The landscaping was well kept and quite attractive with lots of planters. The Lake level was a little low from it’s norm but the fall Color was spectacular. One of the special treats was the many cozy sitting areas both inside and outside. We had a great stay in this most pleasant home.

Friends meeting halfway.
We (Texans) met our great friends from Mississippi here because it was about half way and we love the area.
Everything was great and worthy of a five star. We did not need the third bedroom but will remember that if we come again.
The owners were great and the place was great. Will try to come next time when the water is up completely.

Great Home Away from Home
This property is definitely one I recommend. It is close to Hot Springs but is on Lake Hamilton. The layout was perfect and the home can definitely entertain a larger group. Property manager was in constant communication and made sure we were comfortable!

This was a great house!
This was a great house. Plenty of room for 5 adults. Nice backyard and outdoor gas fire pit. The house was cozy and felt like home. Would be great with teenagers since it had extra rooms and tvs for them. We plan to come again!!
