Loved our stay, good price. Both 4p and 6p dorms + facilities are clean and spacious. Owner is very nice and helpful. We left our stuff in a locked storage, felt secure.
There’s a loud bar nextdoor. We stayed one night at Saturday and one night on a Wednesday and there were different parties going on (different bass until 5am). I guess this nuisance would be heard at other places/hostels as well.

Lits confortables

Clean and modern facilities, a great location and lovely indoor and outdoor shared spaces. The host is also very kind and helpful.

The hostel is small and simple but the spaces are very well thought out. Beds are clean, comfortable, and have night lights. There are amazing common spaces that's great for chilling. Bathroom is outdoors and very clean. To top it off, Nong was a very friendly host who helps you out and can answer your questions about the Thakhek loop. She works hard to make this a great place. I kept extending my stay here because I had an amazing experience.
Not much people when I was there which was really surprising because this is an amazing place. Parts of the common area were still being organized when I was there but I can see this improve very soon.
Note: check for new reviews because this place is improving a lot

We really loved this hostel! The beds are super comfy and everything is so clean. The hostess is also really friendly and her English is really good! I would definitely recommend this stay!
4.3
Clean, good bed and good showers and toilets. Storage for big bags during Thakhek loop. Friendly and helpful staff. Kitchen too!
No curtains (wasn’t a problem for us).

Personnel très gentil et souriant, espaces communs et chambres propres

The air conditioner worked great in the hot weather. The room itself was clean and spacious.
The hostel has a no-shoes policy, but the restroom and the shower are outside. This makes it pretty uncomfortable to put your shoes on every time, also it's not very clean...

Perfect place to start your Thakhek Loop trip and store your large luggage, Koy is so kind :)

Location: It is nearby the riverbank which is a good place to see the sunset.
Cleanliness: there is a few of ant holes in the sleeping room.

Nice clean rooms and good temperature. Nice facilities for bathrooms.
The Cockrell wake-up was very annoying!

Great rooms in this great hostel.
It's perfectly located around 50 meters from Mekong river.
Perfect to eat dinner while watching the sunset.
They give you a towel to use for free.
Enough showers and toilets.
Also free drinking water.

Superb place to stay before or after doing the loop or climbing. Very homely, clean, comfy beds, electric points, shelf and great facilities including great showers and a gym set up! Free tea and coffee, and water refill. Right in the middle of the downtown, it's a small yet big enough place to stay. Can rent bikes and store luggage here which is a great bonus too.
The information board was very outdated, getting information clearly was difficult as the staff were very helpful but are all volunteers and the paid Lao worker likes to sit on her phone all day. The outdoor area is a mess and could be really sweet if someone put effort into creating a nice chill space or similar. Onward travel tickets are available through another guesthouse hostel.

Nice staff
You can rent motorcycle directly from the reception
They keep the big backpack during the loop.
For 10kkip you can take a shower at your return
Free drinking water, coffee, tea.
Confortable beds. AC in the bedrooms.
No private bedrooms only dorms.

The staff was amazing and the place too, like being home❤️
The pillows could have been less high but apart from that highly recommended!!

The bunk bed was pretty spacious and comfortable with plug sockets and light. The host recommended a nice nearby restaurant and it was close to the bike rental places.
There is one bathroom inside and a couple of them outside, i couldn't get the water warm.

The staff were never around, I needed to cancel a
night due to a change in travel plans and couldn't find anyone, after 15 minutes minutes looking I left. This is an issue for me when I stay somewhere.
4.3
The time I stayed there was an American guy was some what running the place, he gave me the break down of the loop, was a great guy to talk to with some beers and the place is rather chill.
They also have motorbike flyers in there that are the best rates I found in the area, most shops charge up to 15$ a day the place they were showing Mryx or something like that was barely $8 a day and the bike barely had 2k KM on it (Brand new)
It is RIGHT next to the river to get some photos in of Thailand just across the way.
A lot of shops around the place, I meet a lot of westerns that live in this area that preferred it over other places.
It has a small bench press in the back, some hang out areas inside and out, the beds are big and good
The vibe was good, even with the guest we all just came together and talked though out the night. The city is very relaxed so don't expect to much after 8 or 9pm
The kitchen water faucet was broken and it was leaking all night, a lot
It sounded like it was raining all night which can be great meditation music maybe?
The gym setup was way old, but again this is NOT something you see at a hostel so can I really complain about it?
4.3
The location was great and it was nice that we could keep our luggage there.
We didn't really get a lot of information about the loop from the staff.
Also the bathroom wasn't clean and the pillows were very high.
