This four-bedroom, two-bath home in prestigious Dollar Point on Lake Tahoe's North Shore is a fantastic place for families and groups. This house has cable wifi which makes our home a great place for working remotely and is one of the few Dollar Point homes with a fenced-in backyard. The garden is fully landscaped and has a HUGE grass lawn complete with baby/toddler swings (it is one of the largest lots in Dollar Point). It also has a large deck with barbecue, hot tub, and dining table for outdoor meals. The home is also great for babies and young children (we have a high chair available).
Whether you're a family or a group of adults, this home has something for everyone. This beautiful home has an open living plan with a dining room adjoining the kitchen and living room. The kitchen is large and very well equipped, ready to prepare a gourmet meal. An open wood-burning fireplace makes this a cozy winter retreat.
In summer, there are many nearby activities. A bike trail leads you directly into Tahoe City, just 2 miles away. In winter, you are only minutes from world class ski resorts including Palisades Tahoe and Northstar. The house is easily accessible in winter ... flat parking, easy access from the highway, no 4WD required. Enjoy nearby Tahoe City for restaurants and shopping.
The bedrooms include down comforters and flannel sheets for winter, and soft cotton sheets for summer. The bedrooms are configured as follows:

It was wonderful - 3 had 3 houses in the area rented - all walking distance to each other. This yard was fantastic so most came to us for dinner đź‘Ť
Only bummer was not being able to use pool and local beach - but we went other places

We were here for a very hot week over July 4th. The heat was our biggest challenge. The large fenced in backyard was a life saver. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you would want to prepare and serve meals. The location is perfect, close to Tahoe City and 15 minutes from Kings Beach. There were a few minor issues which the owner is having addressed.

Everything went so smoothly with our stay here. The property was perfect for my two small dogs and family. The location is great! Right between Tahoe City and Kings Beach, in a safe and quiet neighborhood. A state beach is nearby with trails too. The backyard was the best feature! It’s huge. The grounds are kept up so well and we enjoyed nights outside surrounded by the trees. The host is on top of every instruction you need once you check in and nothing went wrong at all. The kitchen and bathrooms are stocked up with every essential you can think of. The house really had it all. It was clean and relaxing. Honestly we loved everything about staying here. Only thing that was a little challenging was that it was hot during the days we were there and there is no AC. I realize though that most of Tahoe doesn’t have AC units, but it would make for an even more comfortable stay. Not all the windows had screens either and we didn’t want to allow the bugs to get in. But that’s really it. We already have talked about wanting to stay in the future. Thank you so much for your accommodations and for being so thorough about all of the house features. We enjoyed ourselves very much! Internet and TV worked great too! The hot tub and bbq were a bonus for us!

We had a lovely stay and it was beyond expectations. We always bring our own stuff when renting homes, but with this place we didn't need to. Everything you would need is provided! It even felt as if we were at our own cabin or a close friends. Great location, quiet neighborhood. The backyard felt like being at your own park! Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Holiday snow trip for our kids and grandkids. First time staying in Tahoe City and did not disappoint. The comfort of this home along with the location made it a memorable trip for us all. Plenty of room for cooking and dining together, cuddling up by the fire to watch movies and play games. The grandkids experienced their first snow and sledding at Granlibakken just like their parents did when we took them as kids and just 10 minutes away!

We enjoyed our family vacation.
The location was perfect and easy to get to. Loved the huge backyard where we set up lots of outdoor games to play and hung a hamock between the two beautiful trees. After long days on the boat, hiking and shopping, we came back to a nice hot tub soak. Well stocked and did not need anything.
The only suggestion is that it would be nice for them to open up the facilities to renters. We would have loved a swim in the pool and playing some pickle ball.
Other than that, it was perfect and Miriam was wonderful to work with.
We would for sure stay there again.

We stayed here for 2 nights in June and couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. The host even returned a couple of swimsuits we had left behind. Definitely will stay here again!

This house was cozy and for us lacked nothing. Our small dog thought he was in heaven in the back yard as did we. Dinner in the back yard and then badminton that we brought. Bike trails very close. We would love to come back. Thank you, Miriam.

There is a lot to love about this house. We LOVED the location and gorgeous fenced backyard. The kitchen is well-appointed and spacious. There were plenty of towels and linens for our family. There were also plenty of fans for all of the bedrooms and living areas. We wished that there had been more outdoor seating such as lawn chairs to enjoy the beautiful backyard. Also there were no screens on 2 of the largest windows in the main living area so we couldn't open those windows in the afternoon/evening for air circulation (it was hot for Tahoe) without letting in mosquitos and flies. The house was clean but the carpets in the family room area and the master bedroom were in need of a cleaning. Considering the overall cost with fees, we felt that it was on the expensive-side for the condition and amenities.

We had a great stay at Miriam's place. We took our two dogs and 18-month old and found the place to be really well set up with a pack and play, high chair and even stair gate! The yard was also perfect for our dogs as we could let them out without having to worry about them getting anywhere they shouldn't be. There was also plenty of shade in the yard so they loved hanging out.
Otherwise the house itself it well equipped with cooking utensils, TV streaming service and plenty of fans. These were especially useful in the bedrooms which would get very warm in the afternoons in July, but thankfully cooled down before we went to sleep.
The neighborhood is quiet and the bike/walking trail opposite dollar point was beautiful and easy to access with our pups. While we knew we wouldn't be able to access the pool and facilities when we booked the property, it was irking to be able to see them right from the back yard and not be able to go, especially on 80+ degree days when a dip in the pool would've been perfect! Hopefully the covid-era rules on usage will change back for visitors soon.

Recently stayed here while in town for a wedding. The house was clean, cozy, and exactly as listed. All amenities we would need! Home is a very short drive to Tahoe City, where we got groceries, went out to eat, and hung out at the beach. The backyard was perfect to play outside with our 2 year old. Overall a wonderful stay.

Clean, lots of natural light, spacious bedrooms and in a great location. Miriam was extremely responsive with a couple of questions we had after checking in. The kitchen was very well equipped with utensils, pots/pans, crock pot and a whirlypop popcorn popper! It was the perfect place for our family to gather and enjoy a cozy Thanksgiving weekend

Great property and location. In the middle of everything we wanted to do in Tahoe. I grew up coming to Tahoe and was excited to come here with my whole family again. Really enjoyed the big, fenced in yard. It was great for our dog and daughter. The mudroom was convenient, and the beach towels were nice.
The owner Mariam is very responsive and kind.
My only complaint is that the house was very dirty- it is in need of a deep clean. The plastic dish drying rack was really gross with gunk stuck in it, the vents were really dirty, and the switch plates dirty. The upstairs bathroom is missing the overflow plate, and has a rusty nail sticking out. Not really great when I was trying to give my 18 month old a shower. There were also dead bugs all over the ceiling and little gnats on the end of our bed probably from the ceiling. In need of a major paint job as well.

We had a wonderful stay with our family. The large, flat, and lush green yard with swingset and outdoor dining space was just perfect for our young children and dogs to enjoy safely. We loved eating dinner on the deck every night and cooking with the well-stocked kitchen - it had everything you might need including a great selection of glassware for cocktails! The home was comfortable and the check-in/communication process was excellent. It was great to be in such a central, convenient location. We would love to come back!

Had an amazing stay at this cabin. Everything was very clean and organized when we arrived. Great house to stay with friends / family. They have a lot of items / utensils for cooking, which made it easy for family meals. My dog loved the backyard and it was perfect for a family game night. Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely stay again next year!

Beautiful Cozy North Lake Gem!
Wow, what a beautiful cabin so close to the lake and Tahoe City. House was really clean and had all the basic necessities we needed. The beds were super comfy and had plenty of extra blankets. We loved the open big backyard with the hot tub. My son and my dog both really enjoyed running around and playing. Miriam was a wonderful host, super quick in responding to all my messages.

Winter Getaway
Let me just start by saying this house was the perfect winter wonderland to celebrate New Years Eve and my husband's birthday. The hosts were absolutely wonderful and incredibly responsive and understanding while we were trying to travel during the storm. We CANT wait to be back and enjoy the amazing fenced yard in the summer with our pup!

Excellent choice in North shore
Beautiful, functional home in a very nice, quiet neighborhood that is nicely walkable. Extremely clean throughout. Kitchen: Big and exceedingly stocked with dishes, pans, pots and lots of assorted cooking tools for pretty much any cooking/baking need you may have. Huge dining table for a large group. Comfortable living room with sofa/loveseat and chair with fireplace and TV. Downstairs bedroom with bath if you don’t want to climb stairs to the 3 bedrooms and bath upstairs . Details that matter: flannel linens in the winter, night lights to help navigate in the dark, thick towels for bath and spa. Get this, the vestibule between front door and living space is so awesome. A great place to pull on/remove boots and jackets - this is a big deal in the winter. The backyard is even better than it looks. Huge, secure for kids and your pet. Nicely sized Hot tub is just steps from the back door. Owners are extremely responsive to any communication. A wonderful place to spend a vacation.

Wonderful Dollar Point Weekend
It was an absolutely wonderful weekend! When we arrived there was a power outage in the town of Tahoe City and Miriam was extremely easy and timely in communicating the expected return of power. The property was gorgeous and the fenced backyard was perfect for outside enjoyment amongst the trees. The bike/walking paths are close to the home and Tahoe City is a quick few minute drive away with tons of fun shops, restaurants and beautiful vistas! We look forward to our next family vacation to Dollar Point!

I booked this for my boyfriends bday celebration
I booked this for my boyfriend bday celebration but my sister passed away just shy of a week from our stay. We were able to celebrate him and for me to get away in a beautiful peaceful quiet area to get away. The property was perfect besides the slow draining upper shower. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet and most friendly( I had one encounter with a neighbor who became upset at me because I was driving too slow lol by going the speed limit)
There were a lot of activities in the area and even sitting at the home we had tons of fun in the hot tub playing games or watching tv

Amazing back yard.
We had our 3 adult children with spouses, one teenage child, one grandchild and a dog gather at this wonderful home. The backyard was truly amazing. We spent many hours enjoying it!! The kitchen was well supplied and the entire home was very clean and well taken care of. One minor issue was that the beds were a bit soft for a few of us. Others didn’t mind them at all. Highly recommend this property if in the Tahoe area. FYI, believe the owners when they say be aware of bears. One daughter left a bit of food in her car, in the morning it was covered with paw prints and lots of bear drool. We learned our lesson!! Grateful for the wonderful family memories we were able to make in this home.

We had a great time at this home. The pictures listed make it seem much bigger than what the home actually is, but overall it was a cute little place. The location was perfect and the backyard was beautiful.

Family Getaway
Great location, amazing yard for our dogs and toddler. Hot tub was perfect, kitchen was well stocked, all the amenities you expect in a home. We will definitely be returning. Short drive to everything Lake Tahoe has to offer, beaches, hiking, town. We loved every minute.

We had a lovely summer stay, easy check in Great back yard/hot tub and easy access to the Dollar point and skylandia beach/ local sugar pin bakery. The house was in a great location and the property manager was very responsive. Some Improvements...many windows and slider doors had no screens..the upstairs master room is VERY hot, needs air circulation. Also, the bath mats in bathrooms were dirty, and the cabinets in the kitchen need a thorough wipe down around the handles.

Great family Tahoe getaway
The house was a comfortable getaway in a great neighborhood, Dollar Point, with perfect amenities for a family (HOA Pool, beach, etc) and easy access to many great hiking trails, etc. The backyard was wonderful. Really large grassy area (we came with our dogs and they looked ecstatic the whole time), and spotlessly clean hot tub. We loved our stay.
