My friends and I had a great stay. It was the perfect location to the lake. Not in the middle of the crowds but easily still a walkable distance to the main areas.
The hot tub was a great amenity to utilize and we had a relaxing weekend.
Upon arrival we had an issue with wet towels being left behind under the dishwasher, but the issue was promptly resolved. The beds are a bit small - the two twins would be great for a child or small young adult, but not quite comfy for anyone over 5’8” ish.

I stayed here with my boys for my 50th birthday! It’s an excellent location. Close to the beach and other fun activities. We are from Texas, so not having AC in the house was strange for us. It was warm, but it cooled down after we set up all the fans. We were disappointed we didn’t see any bears .. hahah! We plan to come back in the winter to ski!

Stay was amazing (2 adults and 2 kids, 13 and 9). Just blocks from Kings beach and shops/restaurants. Loved having the hot tub in the evening to relax. There was noisy cars driving the street in the evenings which we are not accustomed to at all since we live in a rural community, but could just be our sensitivity. Was not enough to make us dislike the house. Would totally stay here again.

Don't stay with Vacasa if you expect good hospitality. The hot tub wasn't working, so I called to get it fixed, and Vacasa couldn't get to it until the last night of our stay. I called to get more toilet paper because only two rolls were left for 6 people during a 3-night stay, and the person I spoke with said no. What kind of vacation rental place leaves 2 rolls of toilet paper for SIX PEOPLE for 3 NIGHTS? I told the rep I would leave a 1 star review because of this, and she didn't seem to care, so here it is!

All was very good. Thenaccess code did not work so our arrival was met with 15 minutes locked out in the cold.
You only get one chance at a first impression. This access should always be clear and concise and correct.

Pleasant neighborhood about a 6 min walk to the beach. Walking distance to many restaurants and mini golf. House could use a few more amenities that work correctly. The stairs to the master bedroom, kitchen and living area are steep, so don't recommend if guest have mobility concerns.

Nice house! Clean and fairly comfortable and walking distance to town. We appreciated the garage and the jacuzzi! The only drawbacks on my mind are that the neighbors and street are a bit loud, the TV is a little difficult to figure out at first and the beds were a little stiff. The grill was a wonderful touch and the house had all the needed essentials (soaps, detergent, towels etc.) Otherwise, we had a good time and enjoyed our stay!

Second time we've stayed at the Lake House...it was wonderful as always and would recommend. The neighborhood is a bit noisy on weekday mornings but what can you do? Great proximity to the lake and main strip. Responsive when called to ask about how to operate item in house. Didn't have time for the hot tub but have in the past...nice! Would stay again for a Tahoe get-away!

Awesome location
Our family of 6 stayed here for a week in early January 2022. First, location is excellent. Half way between Diamond Peak and Northstar, and walking distance to the beach, park, restaurants, and Safeway. The home is nice and well equipped, and the bathrooms were updated. Having a garage to park in was a game changer, since it was very snowy while we were there. Unfortunately, the hot tub was broken for 5 of the 6 nights we were there, but we got one evening to enjoy it, and it was awesome. The washer/dryer worked OK though the dryer required 2-3 cycles to dry the clothes. I would stay here again, hopefully when the hot tub works.

Good location & plenty of parking.
This house was nice. Had a lot of kitchen utensils and kitchen layout was great for 6 ppl. The location was minutes from the beach and very central to kings beach area. The parking was plentiful. The garage is super small and unless you have a small sedan or smaller you will not be able to use the garage for parking. It's a smaller house, so no more than 6 guests can comfortably stay. And the patio access is through a side bedroom which is inconvenient.

Location, location, location
Walking distance to downtown and beach, 3 car parking spaces, made trip simple and less stresses when traveling. House was clean and good floor plan for bedrooms/bathrooms and stocked well. House heated up a lot during the day and was hard to cool at night using multiple fans and opening windows, making it hard to sleep but we still enjoyed very much and we’re pleased with our first VRBO rental.

Very nice place
Kings beach was a great location and this house was better than expected. No AC but they have many fans that keep the house quite cool in July. Awesome decks on both levels of the 2 story home made for great coffee mornings outside. House was clean and well taken care of. I will be back.

Lake house Love!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet. Because of the heatwave, we didn’t use the hot tub, but definitely would have if the weather had cooperated. Our family appreciated that the home had many portable fans, which were essential due to the afternoon heat. We made use of the board games provided. The location was awesome as it was an easy walk to Kings Beach and local restaurants. Will recommend and book again.

Will recommend to a friend
House is very nice and clean management worked with us very well checked on us to make sure we was OK Within walking distance to the lake only downfall is there was no privacy wall around the spa neighbors kept looking out the window at us that was spooky and uncomfortable Overall it was a nice place to say we will recommend to friends.

Clean and Safe Getaway
We needed a safe and fun getaway for the weekend- and are so glad we found this place! It is an easy walk to the lake, and there are places available for pick-up food. The neighbors are especially friendly and helpful. The rooms are set-up nicely, with plenty of room. The fireplace is amazing! It is set to the temp you want and then just takes care of the rest. We thought that the main room and kitchen was set-up with enough room for us to really relax and enjoy! We booked a few months ago, and at the time there was not a note regarding the hot-tub being unavailable. I even wrote a message to Vacasa about being excited about the hot-tub with some other questions, and the hot-tub was not addressed. It wasn't until the day we were leaving did we get the notice about no hot tub. I wish we would have been told, and we were still charged a $30 hot-tub fee. Another note for those traveling that are used to streaming- the internet works great, however the T.V. does not offer any streaming such as Netflix, Hulu, etc. This was not a dealbreaker for us, but wanted to share since other places I have rented had these amenities. Overall a great spot, and it hit the spot for these moms to have a nice weekend.

The location and the house itself was the perfect place to enjoy the snow. What I enjoyed most about the location that it was close to EVERYTHING! There's a sledding park that my family and I really enjoyed and the jacuzzi which was the cherry on top. However, I wish there was speakers or a radio to play music. I think that was the only down fall about the place. Nonetheless, I would recommend this location for the proximity of all the great shops and restaurants, as well as the beach.
3.0 / 10.0
It's a very nice house in a terrible neighborhood. Very noisy with loud Mexican music all night and cars screeching up and down the street. It's too bad. I did read the reviews beforehand (said the same thing), but we needed a house in Kings Beach for Ironman. Also, was not happy with the additional $40 for the hot tub. They should just absorb whatever cost into the total rent of the house.

Great spot!
Very well kept nice place. I would stay their again. Fridge was a little questionable, and need more then one tv. The tv was small and the sound was not good. But other then that everything else was perfect. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Good location
The location was within walking distance of store, mini golf and a beach or two so no hassles with parking! Cabin was clean, spacious and well appointed. It is in a residential neighborhood so it was a little noisy.

The location and the nice open floor plan. Had a wonderful stay but remember the HOT TUB is not open to guests and that was a bummer!

Good value but a little disappointed
We rented this home for 2 couples on a trip together. The layout is great with each bed and bath on separate floors but you can only get to the hot tub by walking through one of the bedrooms. We went snowboarding and mainly rented it for the hot tub and the filter was out and it would not turn on there were also wet cigarette butts on the porches and sound the spa. Would have rated higher if it weren’t for those two things

A great break for Thansgiving
We enjoyed our stay at the lake house. There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor, one of which leads to the backyard/hot tub. The 3rd on the second floor, along with kitchen and living room and deck. It snowed when we were there and the place stayed nice and warm. The only things that were a bit unclear was the shoveling of snow and driveway and if there is a service or done by the city. We ended up shoveling and then a snowplow came and did the driveway (we had parked in the garage). Other than this, there was a carbon monoxide alarm in the kitchen that went off, and we were slightly unclear on what to use for laundry soap when we started the towels before leaving (there was a ziplock bag with various pods - some instructions/labeling would be great for us powdered soap users). We handwashed the dishes, but didn't see any dishwasher soap. I think the only other concern we had was the temperature setting of the fridge froze our produce overnight so we lost a full bin of greens and some fruit. Would recommend marking where the fridge should be set to avoid this. Overall, very comfortable, warm, and inviting. Our family of 4 hunkered down for the snow, enjoyed the hot tub, and making some snowforts in the backyard. Thank you!

Family vacation
The house was great for our family’s summer vacation. It was clean, well stocked, comfortable and very family friendly. I can’t rate the spa, as we never opened it, we spent our time at at Kings Beach a short walk away. Location is really great to beach, grocery and restaurants. Only issue was the washing machine did not appear to agitate, I suggest a repairman visit.(I didn’t want to do laundry anyway!)

Awesome House
We were pleasantly surprised by how cute this house is. Even though we visited in the winter we would definitely rent in the summer since it’s blocks from the beach! This house was so cozy and the kitchen was fully stocked. The place was immaculate and the hot tub was glorious after a day on the slopes.

Great cabin
Very clean and taken care of. With some cabins there will be existing damage/ wear or defective stuff, not with this one. I think this cabin was about 1200 sq ft, but it felt a lot bigger because of the good layout I guess. No cons I can really think of. Would recommend or book again.

Comfortable Cabin near N. Lakeshore Drive and the lake....
We loved the cabin and it was even better than expected. As I had a good friend that had a condo in Tahoe City where we used to stay regularly (which they sold) we were looking for alternatives as we love going to Lake Tahoe. It's only about an hour & a half away so an easy journey, in fact we do day trips all the time.
Everything worked! That's always something that one wonders about before arriving. To get access and use the hot tub, the WiFi, the flat screen/cable set up all were great. The place was nice and cosy....heated up quickly as due to my friend from San Francisco could not get away early we did not arrive until about 9:30 PM. As stated, the access was very easy and everything you needed to cook, wash up (dishwasher), laundry was great. The main room was huge with very comfortable sofas and lots of additional seating. Electrical outlets were everywhere....no shortage (which is often a problem with rentals).
Again....it was a great cabin and I plan on coming again AFTER ski season and will bring more people. We really did not need a place this big but the hot tub, the photos we saw online ahead of time AND the price was very reasonable we felt for the offering. I let my friend have the upstairs bedroom and I slept in the double bed downstairs with the access to the hot tub which was perfect. It was hot and all ready to enjoy....loved it!
I will return without a doubt.
