About this cabin rental
Escape to this lakefront home on Flathead Lake. The home has spectacular views of the Lake and Rocky Mountains. Bar-B-Q on the deck, play in the water and enjoy a fire by the lake side fire pit.
68 feet of your own private beach. You can boat, swim, sail or fish right off the beach and dock. There is a covered boat lift which can hold a boat up to 2500 pounds. A picnic table, lounge chairs and fire pit are at the waters edge for your relaxation and enjoyment. Loaner canoe on the beach for your use. Please bring your own wood.

Winter time is beautiful with many winter sports available including downhill skiing at Blacktail Ski Resort or Big Mountain in Whitefish. Snowmobiling, cross country, ice skating and snow shoeing.
Need to work or go to school remotely? The home has high speed internet, wifi and different work spaces. Spectrum internet 300/20 Mbps.
This cabin is the perfect location on the North end of Flathead Lake to explore the area. 42 miles to Glacier Park, 4 mi.-Lakeside, 1.5 mi.-Somers, 10 mi.-Kalispell, 12 mi.-Big Fork, 26 mi.-Whitefish.
A number of restaurants, shops and attractions are within a short drive. And there are nine golf courses, antiquing, art galleries, and live theater in the Flathead Valley. The National Bison Range, hunting, horseback riding, biking, water slides and hiking in the Jewel Basin and hundreds of other places are also in the area.
Glacier National Park is just 42 miles away. Take a day trip to one of the most spectacular places in the Rocky Mountains for hiking, sightseeing, taking pictures or whitewater rafting. Don’t forget to get some huckleberry ice cream while you are there.
This 2 bedroom, one bathroom plus a den home is approximately 1600sf. On the main level is the fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom, laundry room and the large master bedroom. The spacious deck is also on the main level. The master bedroom has a California King bed, a couch, TV and sliding glass door that opens onto the deck. The living room has a queen sized hide-a-bed and a work desk in it. Downstairs are two additional rooms. One of the rooms has a queen sized bed and a door to the outside. The other room has a double sized hide-a-bed couch and a twin bed. You access the room with the queen bed from the other room.
A portable crib and high chair or booster chair are available upon request.
There are stairs (23 steps) to get from the parking to the home. There are stairs from the home to the private beach (53 steps). This home is not for everyone as there are stairs to get to the home and stairs to get to the lake. The home has one toilet in the home. The shower in the bathroom is small. However, there is a larger area outside of the toilet and shower room that has another decent sized vanity, sink, mirror and bath tub. During the months of June, July and August I have a portable toilet on the property so that there is another toilet available. The stairs to go to the downstairs rooms are narrow. With these things said, if you choose to rent this home knowing these things, you will not be disappointed by the views, the lake front, your own private hot tub, the deck and the comfort of the property.

Awesome location for our week long vacation that was split doing Glacier for a few days and Flathead lake activities. So much to do that we could have spent another week. This house has spectacular views of the lake from pretty much every room. We cooked most of our own meals and had every kitchen utensil/cookware I have at home. Nice indoor and outdoor dining areas. Kids enjoyed the canoe and jumping off the dock. We would love to stay again! Thanks for everything!!!

This place is all about location. We barely left lol. There was so much to do right there. But we did manage to find time to enjoy the area as well and, as the title states, it all made for amazing lake life. The entire process was easy and so worth it.

We had a fabulous time and did not want to leave. Being right on Flathead Lake and the view every morning and evening was fantastic. The location is close to everything. We would recommend this VRBO and it was the best we’ve ever had, thanks, keep up the good work

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property. Both times we have stayed here have been perfect. Excellent views and perfect lake access. We rented a pontoon boat one day and another day we rented paddle boards, kayaks, and a jet ski. Everything we rented came from Paddle Board Outfitters which is less than a mile from the house. We definitely will be back.

Wonderful view!
The view from the deck is wonderful and relaxing! We also enjoyed the view through the picture windows in the family room. We enjoyed swimming in the lake and sitting in the hot tub. We grilled every night. We had a wonderful time visiting Glacier.
The kitchen is small but well stocked. The sitting area has comfortable seating. There is only one bathroom and the shower is super tiny. There is one AC unit so the Master bedroom was quite warm. The pullout twin bed in the Master is not usable. Same with pullout in the den. They are old with springs poking out. Master room mattress needs updating, it bows. Shades do not keep out the early morning sun. Steps to the den are very steep and narrow. There is a rooster that woke us up at 4:30 every morning. The rooster also likes to come around our deck during the day. Not sure where its home is.

Great location for seven of us traveling to check out Glacier National Park. The setting is beautiful right on Flathead Lake. The house could use updating but we were very comfortable. We didn’t need to buy any paper products. We grilled several times. We used the hot tub daily. The deck has a beautiful view. Thank you for sharing this space!

We loved our stay. The home was clean and comfortable. The lake view was amazing! As clearly noted in the description, there are many steps down to the property and down to the lake. For us it was not a problem. The property manager texted me on the day of arrival, and was very accessible. We were very happy with our stay.

Wonderful Family Vacation
We had the best experience renting this lake house. It was large enough for my family and my brother’s family to enjoy. They provided everything you would need for your stay at the lake. The kids enjoyed swimming and fishing off of the dock. We rented paddle boards one day and a pontoon boat another. The location of the rentals is about a mile from the house. I highly recommend staying at this location.

The kitchen is small but has everything, there's only one bathroom which isn't ideal, the blinds don't keep the early morning sun out at all, parking is across the street, lots of stairs, and there's only a portable AC. (All easy to deal with)
Recommend: great experience though pricey. Hard to complain about the location and we made some great family memories.

The home was clean and homey. It was the exact secluded getaway my husband and I needed to get away from our crazy Florida life. Loved viewing the lake and mountains from the hot tub!

We watched several beautiful sunrises from the dock, and though snow prevented us from using the private beach to the full extent, I can only imagine how fun it is to stay during the summer months. If you're thinking about coming in the winter, though: do it! The cabin is located near some great skiing and snoeshoeing areas, and the hot tub after a long day of winter sports was fantastic. We had no trouble finding the cabin with a smooth check in and someone had clearly been out to shovel and salt the steps and deck for us which was appreciated as we hauled in luggage.This is by far one of the most thoughtfully appointed vacation homes I've ever rented. When the listing says the kitchen is fully equipped, it really means it-- there was a variety of basic spices and condiments, plenty of cookware, and a small pantry with basic supplies. Other little touches like board games and puzzles, coolers to borrow, etc. made it really feel like a home that had everything we needed. The only things I would note for improvement is that the only shower is tiny (like bump your elbows on the wall in front of you while you're shampooing tiny) and the shower head isn't in good shape. We didn't use the downstairs level since there were only two of us but other groups might want to know that the back bedroom is accessed through the twin bedroom (or a door to the outside). The primary bedroom we stayed in upstairs is cozy but the bed could use a new mattress. Don't let these quirks stop you, though-- it's all worth it for the rest of the stay. We've already talked about coming back to see what it's like in the summer when we can access the lake. Thanks Cheryl and her team for a special stay!
