About this house rental
This charming house is clean and centrally located; 1 block from the best coffee shop in town (Evans Brothers) and Matchwood Brewery and restaurant, 2 blocks to downtown. 1.5 miles to the base of Schweitzer. We provide 4 bikes (May-October) if you prefer to head out on wheels. If you want to stay in, the home has everything you’ll need for cooking at home, a smart TV, DVDs, books, games, crafts and a fire pit in the back yard and a covered, private back deck!
The home is open, bright and clean with hardwood floors throughout the bedrooms, living room and dining room. Tile floors in kitchen and bathrooms. This house is well looked after and thoroughly cleaned between each and every guest.
We’ve left you a manual with our favorite coffee shops, dining and activities!
LIVING ROOM
The living room has a comfortable, modern couch and we provide a Smart TV, with a Netflix account, a DVD player and collection of DVD’s. The piano is available for some home made music!
KITCHEN
The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the equipment you will need for cooking and some basic pantry items with a gas stove/oven. There’s a drip coffee machine, blender, toaster, crock pot and more for those who want to cook-in.
BACK PORCH/YARD
The landscaped back yard is fully fenced and a great place to hang out! There is a covered back porch with seating and the yard has a fire pit, propane bbq and flower beds. Under the covered bike shed, there are four bikes for you to use.

Bedroom #1- New queen bed, closet, dresser, door to full bathroom.
Bedroom #2- Full sized bunk beds, closet, dresser.
Bathroom #1- Newly remodeled full bath with tub/shower combo, door to bedroom #1 and door to living space.
Bathroom #2- half bath in newly remodeled laundry room.
As the homeowner, I set a high standard for home maintenance, cleanliness and communication with guests. I’m very “hands on”, personally stopping by between guests to confirm all is well and ready for the next guest. I have a fast response rate should you have any questions during your stay.
*RE DOGS: We do allow well behaved, house trained dogs as long as you can comply with the following, no exceptions. Dogs must stay off of ALL furniture and linens, you must clean up after them outside and their nails MUST be recently trimmed short. We have hard wood floors and dog nails scratch them up. Pet fee of $75 collected through VRBO during booking. This helps cover the cost of extra cleaning. Please inform us you are traveling with a dog.

Stayed 10 nights for the Festival . Perfect location to walk to venue or walk downtown . Only got in my car to drive up to Schweitzer and out to hope for an outing. House was immaculate and cozy . The back covered porch was the best and we were out there a lot . Will return next year if available .

A wonderful house set in a nice neighborhood. The house was in walking distance to shops and restaurants. The bikes provided were an added bonus. We were able to bike to dinner and along a path around the lake. The fire pit in the back yard was a great way to end the night. The home was clean and had everything we needed for a family stay.

This house was very comfortable, well equipped and in a great location, with easy walking to coffee, restaurants and downtown. Fenced backyard was perfect for our pups as we enjoyed the patio, and the cruiser bike with the baskets was perfect for a trip to the grocery store and bakery. Very nice, relaxing stay!

Super cute little house with very thoughtful amenities. The entire house is well stocked and nicely decorated. Best part was that it was really clean! It was the perfect landing spot for our family for a long weekend. My teenager especially appreciated the oversized (full) bunk bed. Would definitely stay again!

This place had everything we needed for our family of 4 (plus our dog) for our stay in Sandpoint. Owner made everything so easy from check in to check out.
The house was completely spotless upon arrival - so well kept. Great yard with relaxing back patio for morning coffee and/or evening cocktails.
Perfect location as you can walk everywhere to downtown Sandpoint……or you can just take the bikes provided to travel anywhere you want.
Highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful home in an excellent spot
What a great home in a great location! We loved our stay here with our 2 dogs. The yard was all fenced in and charming. It was nice to be able to access it through the house instead of having to go outside first to get to a separate fenced in area like I've experienced at a few other places.
The home is so cute and charming and decorated nicely. It's in a great location, easy to walk to town.
We had a couple weird things happen during our stay but the owners were very responsive and we got it figured out/handled so it wasn't a big deal.
The bed was comfy, my only negative would be to have heavier curtains in the bedroom to block out more light, but overall it wasn't too bad.
I'd recommend this place and would stay here again!

Relaxing week at the lake with extended family
The house is charming. It was a great home base for our family to explore Sandpoint. Downtown is within walking distance. The back yard was a great space for our kids to play. There was enough room so that in the evening, extended family could come over for evening meals. Each night, we would sit on the back porch to chat, catch up on our lives, and reminisce about the past.

Excellent hospitality
This is a fairly modest home located a few blocks from the main business/recreation area of Sandpoint. We were so impressed when we arrived that the A/C had been left on to make us comfortable (it was a hot day). The kitchen and main bath were spotless and complete. There is also a bonus half-bath in the utility room which was nice to have. The bed was not large, but comfortable, and there is adequate lighting. The back porch and yard are not in great shape, but will be excellent when they are fixed up. We were very satisfied with the condition of the property and the supplies that were provided. We definitely would stay there again.

Great location for walking around town, easy to grab a shuttle to the mountain for snow sports. Great maintenance for snow removal!!! And it snowed A LOT! Friendly, very receptive responses to any questions or comments. Hope to stay again!
