My family has a small house with beach access nearby, so we come to Charlestown every summer and are always looking for other places for the rest of our sprawling family to stay. We had never tried a place on the salt pond before and this may be our new fave. Beautifully laid out, with lots of space and fantastic views. The road in is a little bumpy but that's the only criticism I can think of. A beautiful home!

We booked for a long weekend to celebrate my nieces’ birthdays and to facilitate a family beach outing and had the perfect time. Gorgeous home, ideal location, and communicative host.

We enjoyed our weekend! The house is quite spacious with multiple outdoor venues and comfortable bedrooms. There is a spectacular master suite with soaking tub. The other bedrooms are smaller. Well kept, friendly and helpful owner (we did not have any direct contact with the management co.) Would come again, highly recommend!

Great location! Great property! Great hosts! Had a wonderful week - owner was great! Can’t say enough good things about our week at this property!

The house was just as listing presented. Plenary of room for 5 adults and 2 children and an infant. Nice big table for eating and playing games. Kayaking was a highlight as well as catching crabs off the dock. The yard was plenty big enough for running sports- ladder ball football and corn hole. The beach is close and was not expensive. Went to Matunuck oyster house and many trips to vanilla bean and tropic frost. The sunsets fantastic as well as the moon rising. Will definitely return. The contact for the house was on top of any special needs that arose. Thank you Regina!

Property was amazing and very well maintained. Property owner was a pleasure to deal with.
The only issue was that a company named "Evolved" is involved in the middle of VRBO and the property owner. They charged a $66 damage protection deposit. There was no damage to the property but they refused to refund the deposit stating its their policy not to refund that money!! I have booked thru VRBO before and in case there is no damage, that money gets refunded. Not happy about this at all and will be looking for other platforms to book my stay in the future.

Excellent responsive owner, location, condition of house.
For the price paid in our opnion, all linens should have been provided, the grill should have been cleaned and should have had a proper full tank of gas and the charges for damages payments upfront should be refunded if no damages are found and especially VRBO's heavy fee should be significantly reduced. The overall rental cost on a per day basis was higher than 5 star hotel in RI or on the Cape and one would be willing tot pay that given the very responsive owner & location if it weren't for the issues mentioned. VRBO should issue some credit back to me

Amazing location, property, service
We hosted a family reunion at our nearby home and used this property for "spillover" lodging. The location, property, and service were all amazing and all our guest were ecstatic with everything about their lodging - the view, the comfort, the cleanliness. And the owner quickly fixed a major hiccup (my error) on the day prior to check-in! I highly recommend this property.

Peace on the Pond
A girls getaway to take a break from the world. Such an incredible space. Thankful to Regina for being so flexible with our trip. The winter weather was coming and we were quickly accommodated. Thank you.

Great house in an excellent location.
This was a very nice home in excellent condition and well equipped. The views of Green Hill Pond were extraordinary. With better weather, we would have enjoyed the available canoe and kayaks!

GREAT HOUSE - BEAUTIFUL POND VIEWS
We really enjoyed our stay here this past weekend! We were in town for a wedding, so it was perfect for our whole family. The house is unique and has spectacular pond views from almost every room. We found the house very clean when we arrived and appreciated the extra essentials like paper towels, TP, shampoo etc.
We loved the 2nd floor family room, the multiple decks, the screened porch by the master bedroom and the widow's walk that had the best views!
Kayaks are a great addition to explore the pond by water!
My only regret is that we didn't stay longer!

Gorgeous spot on the pond
Lovely house, beautiful location & very responsive property management contact! The spot on Greenhill pond was magnificent and the kayaks were a real plus. We had a fabulous time.

Nice home, however lacking essentials
The home was nice and the property, however there was a lack of small essential items. The kitchen cookware and plates, glasses, and silverware were sparse. There was a single partial roll of paper towels. There were only a few k-cups and coffe creamers. The situation for the bathrooms was the same. With a house like this there is an expectation that there will be a generous supplies of soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper. Finally, it is also expected that towels and linens be supplied as well.

A wonderful experience! It was everything we could have asked for.

My family and I came here for a week and this stay exceeded our expectations! This was our first time in Rhode Island and I wasn’t sure wether to stay in or outside of Newport and I’m so happy I decided to pick outside. Staying in Newport you would never have this much room and it’s not as conducive for families. The property was beautiful and the grounds immaculately kept. Pictures truly don’t do it justice. There is a private beach you can access and you might think it’s not a big perk but it is. It saved our family of four so much money not having to pay for parking and beach passes. The convenience is unreal! You literally park walk a few steps and your at the beach lounging. The biggest draw to this house is the pond it sits on. Even though it felt more like a lake to me. We kayaked and sat out back for hours and soaked it all in. The house has life jackets already provided along with kayaks and beach chairs, you do need to bring your own sheets and towels but for us this wasn’t a big deal. The second biggest draw to the house was the bath tub in the master bedroom. It’s a deep, free standing tub with windows surrounding it. The house was perfect. I can’t recommend it enough! The owner of the house was super communicative and helpful. She got back to me promptly before and even during my stay. STAY HERE!!! Also check out Matunuck oyster bar while your here! Awesome restaurant

Beautiful home on the water and owner was very responsive!
This home was beautiful and worked well for a group of 3 couples. It was easy to get to Newport and to Watch Hill/Westerly. The views of being directly on the water were beautiful. The owner was extremely responsive to emails and questions- and left chocolate, travel size shampoo, extra toothbrushes, coffee, etc to make it extra cozy. The kitchen was well equipped for basic cooking with all essentials. We would definitely recommend and would stay again!
