About this cabin rental
This log cabin is located on beautiful Douglas Lake and close to the Great Smoky Mountains. We are conveniently located 6 miles off the interstate. This cabin is ideal for couples or active families that enjoy the water and the mountains. This cabin has seasonal water early April to late Sept. depending on rainfall. We have a floating dock as long as we have water in the cove.
New pergola deck near the water with picnic table and adirondack chairs. New walkway from the lower deck transitions the hill to the pergola. Also, newly added firepit!
The main bedroom has a king size memory foam mattress, the 2nd bedroom has a queen and the 3rd has two XL twins. The cabin is two levels with the 3rd bedroom, family room, laundry room and one bath on the lower level.
The upscale kitchen comes fully stocked. The dining table has a self-storing leaf that effortlessly converts the table to seating for eight. The spacious family room on the lower level has a 65" smart TV, foosball table and a gas fireplace. The upstairs living room also has a 55" flat screen TV and wood burning stove. The cabin has a gas grill, two decks with one covered and screened and another that is covered in the front.
We have a private dock and there are ski boat, jet ski, pontoon boat, kayak, and paddle board rentals available nearby on the lake. There is a public boat launch 4 minutes from the cabin. The cove offers protection from winds and storms, but gives easy access to the main channel.
The cabin has a front loading washer and dryer. Bath towels, wash cloths and bed linens are provided. Please BRING your own BEACH TOWELS for the lake.
We have tried to make it easy for you so we have provided things like coffee & filters, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, and toilet paper. Also provided are basic kitchen items such as zip lock bags, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, paper towels, and garbage bags.
We have installed combination deadbolts on both levels to make it easy and hassle free for you to checkin at your convenience. This also eliminates the need for everyone in your party to have a key.
The cabin has cable TV and wifi/internet.
We do want you to know that the cabin is two levels and the driveway is on the lower level. There is space for a vehicle to park just off the road on the upper level to make loading and unloading easier.

You will find Smoky Mountain Knifeworks, Bass Pro Shops and Tennessee Smokies Baseball Stadium only 11 miles away. And there are 9 golf courses within 30 miles, so bring your clubs!

This trip was the best family vacation. The lake house was in a great location not to far away from everything but not super close. It was quiet and relaxing. We will definitely be going back and using this house again.

We had the best time on the lake this year. The cabin is excellent and the owners were very easy to communicate with. We will be returning.

This property was perfect for our family. It is close to town to get supplies and groceries. It is also close to the marina to rent boats. We love to swim and water access was easier than many properties on the lake. The owners were friendly and attentive. We plan on staying here again.

What a wonderful place with lake access and within 3 miles of Dandridge. First time to Douglass Lake after 3+ decades of going to Norris. The views of the mountains are awesome. The hosts for this property also very gracious. Quick to respond and their ho.e was super clean and had everything we needed. Definitely a home we would use again.

We had a fantastic time. Dealing with an early sickness we were late getting there. But it was amazing. We would love to stay again.

We really lucked out with this cabin for our family of 4. Everything about it was perfect & exceeded our expectations. We definitely plan on coming back! Thanks for being such wonderful hosts :)

The property had beautiful views. The kitchen was completely stocked with any gadget you would need. Very clean. Easy to get to and roads were no problem even pulling a boat.

Overall the stay was exactly as we hoped. Close enough to get to the busy areas in 30 min of driving but far enough away to not be stuck in traffic everywhere you went. We stayed in Dec and they drain the lake so lake area is completely dry during this time of the year. Everything worked as expected and my son loved his "Apartment" which was really the basement where one of the bedrooms and bathrooms is.

I think the property would be a lot more fun in the summer, we went in November and it was nice and quiet, but I imagine the summer would be both fun and relaxing because of the lake.

Was on a beatiful lake, very very clean, fully stocked kitchen. Husband, teenage daughter and I loved it! Was close to Sevierville and not bad driving to Pidgeon Forge. Enjoyed walking through downtown Dandridge.

We had a wonderful time at the lake house, everything was clean, comfortably furnished, and completely as advertised. Bill and Sonja were gracious hosts, we didn't want for anything during our stay. The views are beautiful from everywhere on this property. Highly recommend!

Our stay was fantastic. The two of us decided on a last minute trip for labor day weekend. We were lucky to have found the perfect place. The house was very clean and was well stocked with anything we needed! We stayed for 3 nights and only ate out one time. We cooked and grilled and had no desire to leave as it was peaceful and beautiful. We kayaked and used the canoe provided by the owners! Douglas lake is beautiful, with many coves to explore. We will definitely return!

We felt welcomed from the moment we opened the front door. We had read the reviews, and were expecting a great place. But, all the reviews paled in comparison to what we experienced.
All the little details that went along with this house made it a home. The thoughtful decor, and all the amenities made us want for nothing. It seemed as if everything we needed was right here within the cabin. From the well stocked kitchen and rooms, to the little extras: like the games, fire pit, grill, dock, and chairs & tables, which made our time blissful, while living on lake time.
The views were incredible from every location in and outside the house.
We made sure to enjoy them all each day from the many available decks strategically located around the cabin.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and making our honeymoon so wonderfully special!

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and nice. The owners went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The owners answered all questions with prompt responses and gave us lots of suggestions such as where to put our boat in and restaurants that you could get to by water. Lake was great and our kids enjoyed skiing and tubing. Would highly recommend

This log cabin on Douglas Lake could not have been more perfect for our family vacation. The cabin was spacious, comfortable, and immaculately clean. Every need has been considered. The outdoor spaces were relaxing and fun, even with some rain during our stay. We saw lots of wildlife and loved taking canoe rides on the lake. Our son loved fishing in the cove. The property owners were fantastic to work with and so welcoming. We would not have a changed a thing! I would give more than 5 Stars!

Our experience with the home owners and staying at this property was nothing but excellent! The property was beautiful, clean, and very well maintained! The homeowners have pretty much thought of everything you may need for your stay. They also had great communication. We were a family of six, and there was a place for everyone to sleep. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Thank you!

My wife, mother-in-law and I rented the property for a place to stay while here for a family event. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities you would want for a relaxing getaway. The property is a about 35 - 40 minutes from the hustle and bustle that is Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge. So it’s close enough to head out and spend the day there or just stay at the cabin and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Either way it was an enjoyable visit and we plan on renting the unit again in the future.

A great place to stay. The location with its floating dock on the lake was perfect. The neighborhood was great and well kept. The home itself was very, very clean...wish my own house was as clean. The decor was very nice and they had everything there for use. Douglas lake is situated close to hiking, whitewater rafting, fishing, kayaking, distilleries, etc. Always something to do within a short drive. Lots of restaurants in Sevierville and Dandridge. Oh, and the owners were communicative and responsive to any questions we had.

I will say this is the cleanest cabin I’ve ever rented, the location was perfect for us because we brought our 26’ foot Ski Boat, the dock is located at the quiet end of a cove so no getting your boat beat off the dock from wakes. Bill was more than helpful after speaking with him on any questions I had. The cabin was supplied with extra supplies in the kitchen that you normally don’t see, the beds were comfortable & the floor plan was just right. We will definitely return & I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a cabin to rent.
Thanks again Bill & Sonja for sharing your place with us!!

We had a great time and our hosts could not have been more helpful. Our kids loved the dock down below and the house had plenty of room for the 5 of us. Highly recommend!

Property just as described. Clean and well stocked; made things very easy and convenient. Hosts were very helpful and reached out to make sure all was well. Screened in porch was perfect for having little one with us to keep in shade and still enjoying the weather and view.

This is my new home away from home. Beautifully decorated, clean, well-stocked home. Lots of decks and gorgeous views of the lake. I will say that it isn't the easiest place to get into for those of us with mobility issues, but I made it. And I knew that going in. I will definitely stay there again.

Perfect Get Away!
Lol....I think I turned on the TV the first night and it stayed off the rest of the time. I fall in Love with the place. Love the boat dock, we were able to park our boat and enjoy some fishing. It was a bit of a walk up hill to the house from the boat dock, but I would not change it as the house has such a peaceful view from the back porch. I would consider booking it again. Owners seem to be Wonderful folks. Thank you, It was a much needed mini vacation.

Cabin was clean cozy and stocked with everything you need from kitchen and bath items to cozy downstairs. Very spacious. Wish the lake wasn’t completely drained but it’s understandable why they drain the lake. (Flooding season) We hope to come back in the summer and enjoy the lake.
