Great location just off the beaten path. We rented bikes to make it easier to get into town for all of the events for the weekend. Lovely place.

We absolutely loved our time staying at this cute and cozy cottage in Edgartown! The cottage itself is adorable and was the perfect size for our needs. We had everything we needed to cook some meals and enjoyed eating dinners and sipping morning coffee on the porch. The front lawn and gardens were gorgeous and clearly very cared for. We did not have a car, so it was also incredibly convenient that we were able to walk to the grocery store, liquor store, bike rentals AND downtown Edgartown! We were able to explore the beach, lighthouse, shops, local farm, and restaurants/bars without using a car or public transit. Finally, the check in and check out process were both so straightforward (we were even able to get in early). Such a perfect oasis for our Memorial Day weekend getaway!

Charming cottage. Was a little surprised to find the bed was in the living room, more like a studio really, maybe it was shown in the photos and I overlooked it. No matter, it was lovely. Kitchen had everything you could ask for. Very happy with our stay.

We had a great visit - the cottage is charming, clean, and comfortable. The location is excellent and convenient. I would definitely recommend this cottage and look forward to returning. Susan was available and very helpful with my questions. We will be back.

We had a lovely 3 day stay in this cute cottage. It’s just a few steps to the bus system and a few more steps to the market. I enjoyed coffee each morning on the porch and we we felt safe returning here in the evening after a day of exploring. Susan was easy and pleasant to deal with.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Susan's darling cottage. Although it was a rainy weekend, the short walk to town was very easy. We made good use of the covered porch too! We appreciated the fast communication and flexibility Susan offered. I highly recommend this home.

We loved the cottage. It was very clean and well appointed. Enjoyed siting on the porch for coffee and drinks, especially when it was over 100 back home.
The cottage was perfectly situated a short walk to Edgartown, which we liked better than Oak Bluffs (its a less touristy). It is a very short walk to the grocery store Stop & Shop, bike rentals and a brewery (Bad Martha's). Despite driving and biking all over the Island, we never once thought we could find a better place to stay.
Bottom line - We'll stay here again if we go back to MVY. Thanks Susan.

The cottage was perfect for our first visit to Martha’s Vineyard for the MV marathon. The cottage itself is small, but cutely decorated and very clean. It was perfect for a long weekend. It’s convenient to groceries and walks into downtown Edgartown. I’m not sure we’ll get back but would definitely stay here again!

We had a great few days at the cottage. The location is great within a walk to groceries, restaurants and downtown. Sufficiently supplied kitchen for most cooking needs, a comfortable mattress and very inviting feeling.

We were there for a wedding in Edgartown and walked everywhere! My only complaint is there is not a closet. There are drawers for clothes but not a place to hang up clothes. Other than that it was perfect!

We very much enjoyed our stay in Edgartown. The house was extremely well located. It was very clean, cute and perfect for us. I would recommend only 2 people in the house as it is quite small. The front porch was lovely for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. It is a very peaceful location. However, the neighbors next door were doing the cement work on their new pool the first morning starting at 6:30 am. It continued until 8:00 at night. Susan, was unaware this was going to take place and was very gracious about it. She offered to give us some money back, called the city, the neighbor, etc. It certainly was not her fault and we got through it. The next 2 days were so quiet and wonderful.
We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent cottage
We had a wonderful stay in Susan’s cottage. Excellent communication all the way through. Great location, walking or cycling distance from centre of Edgartown. Fantastic air con ( it was hot while we were there so this was really lovely to have). The cottage is perfect for a couple and we loved the deck and enjoyed our breakfast out there each morning. We also found the washer and dryer very useful.
Cannot find anything bad to say.. it was all perfect. Thank you.

Perfect Little Hideaway
We loved our stay at Hideaway Cottage! We were smiling the moment we walked in. The cottage was so clean, charming, and thoughtfully decorated. We were very happy with the location: quiet, private, an easy walk to Edgartown. Lucky Hank’s, our favorite spot for breakfast, is right around the corner. Thank you, Susan, for a wonderful stay!

Cute, Private, and Comfy Little house!
We stayed at this house for an offseason weekend in October and it was lovely! We had 4 friends all together, and it was just the right amount of space for a 3-day trip! An added boon was just how private the house was! We were a little off the main road, so there was very little traffic, but it was only a few minutes walk into Edgartown. Really it was the best of both worlds. The house was very clean and bright, with lots of natural light, and had laundry units in the bathroom closet for towels etc. The shower also is lovely! Maybe an odd thing to include in a review, but a shower can make one’s day, and it was a favorite feature when we were there, after the spiral staircase and the front yard, of course. 10/10 Absolutely lovely.
* Also there’s quite a nice selection of books in the house! I recommend browsing "The Tao of Pooh", which was fantastic, thoughtful vacation reading.

October in Edgartown
We stayed at this adorable place that had everything we needed. We found it perfect for a couple. It’s small, but has everything to make it a nice and comfortable stay.
The queen bed was very comfy. Washer/dryer in a big closet in the bathroom, beach towels + bath towels available. Nice coffeemaker (a huge bonus, in my book!). The place was immaculate.
It’s an easy 10-minute walk into Edgartown, where we spent most days when not lounging on the porch. There’s a mini mart/ gas station right at the corner (my husband says they have great breakfast sandwiches) for last-minute needs. The cottage has a front porch on which to sit back and relax. They’ve done a great job with making it a private retreat: there’s a fence and hedge between the cottage and the house in front, with a little front yard, so sitting on the porch feels private and quiet. (Gas grill on the porch, too!)
There is a loft with a spiral staircase that has twin beds. The bedroom/living area is one room—smallish but cozy and nicely decorated. We loved it!
Owner was very responsive to any questions and had recommendations for restaurants, fish markets and the like.
We lucked out with the weather. For October we had a few stellar days to eat outside and walk a lot. Because of Covid we didn’t partake of any tours or visit museums, etc. It was enough to relax and enjoy this gem of a cottage, the beautiful homes and gardens, and of course, the ocean!

Beautiful small home in perfect location. Easy walk into the heart of Edgartown. Very clean and well-stocked with a wonderful porch and outdoor sitting area. The owner was welcoming and attentive to ensure a great stay. She even provided a partial refund (not requested) because the cable T.V. was out for a day. We didn't miss it as we were having a blast exploring.

Convenient to Edgartown and close to bike paths, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at this rental property. This was our first time in Martha's Vineyard and felt that this property enabled us to be close to so many attractions. The home was clean and well equipped for meals at home (which we did) and the front porch was great to sit out and relax. It's great for two people - anymore than that and it might be too small. This is certainly an A+ accommodation while staying in Martha's Vineyard.
