About this house rental

This spacious 2 story, 3 bedroom lodge sits on 6 mile Bayou. There is a public boat ramp across the highway. It is easy to access off the highway. There are several stores and gas stations within a 12 mile radius. Short boat ride to Toldeo Bend. It is located in a very quiet area. The sunsets from the second story balcony are just stunning. You can catch some fish from the bank or under the bridge.

Excellent location to the Six Mile creek and bridge. Boat ramp very convenient to this location. Plenty of fishing access right from the dock. Not necessary to boat too far saving fuel and maximizing fishing time. Very popular Crappie spot right under the overpass. Often times we didn't even fire up the big motor. We just trolled over and then worked the banks around the area. The house was comfortable and clean. There were 2 types of coffee pots. K-cup, and drip. The shower was good, as well the A/C worked great.We utilized the fish cleaning station which is covered. The water where you have access is mostly calm and peaceful. The area seemed protected when the wind would pick up from time to time. In the morning and evenings the water was flat. During the day there was quite a bit of road noise since the bridge and highway were so close, but didn't bother us. In the evening and night the traffic load goes way down. We didn't really hear much when we were sleeping. It may be a little tricky backing the boat in and out of the driveway, but is do-able. We pulled a 17' Bass boat, if you have too much truck then backing around to drive out, and staying on the driveway might be a challenge. The convenience of tying the boat up at the lakeside dock was a plus. The water was deep enough for just about any type of boat. Close to 5' around the dock and quickly went to 10'-14' when pulling away. There is a 110V outlet at the dock should you need to charge your boat batteries.

The house clean and very accommodating dock was perfect only had to launch and pick up once how convenient would be nice if I didn’t have to back onto hwy but we made it love the place mistakes checking in all my fault

The house/property was conveniently located near the boat launch. Easy access to Six Mile. The house was clean and well stocked with linens, toiletries and kitchen needs. Beds were comfortable. The dock was well lit and safe to navigate. 5 Star review

Excellent location for our fishing tournament on Toledo Bend. The house was comfortable and had plenty of parking for our vehicles. We enjoyed the pier and porch areas in the evenings and mornings. Highly recommend this property.

Loved the property. The house was great. It had plenty of room and all the amenities you need. The location was perfect. It was so nice being able to fish off the dock. The view of sunsets was so nice. So glad we stayed here.

We were in the area for a funeral. I may have to look at this home again for a pleasure getaway. We did have an issue with the internet. That was resolved but we never did figure out how to use the Dish Network television. We used our streaming services instead. The home was great. Sunset view is spectacular and the dock was perfect for relaxing.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this property and we absolutely love it. Perfect for my husband and I along with his 2 brothers and wives. Everything you need for a long weekend getaway. About a 10 minute drive to the store for groceries, used the grill to smoke a brisket, boat launch across the street and the fire pit for late nights. We will continue to book for our March and October trips as long as it is available. The Grays and The Phillips

This was the 2nd time we had rented this house. It has ten perfect location for fishing and launching/trailering ten boats. It has enough room whether it’s just a couples weekend or a weekend with a bigger group of family and friends.

I booked this place for my husband and I for his birthday weekend. He has been fishing Toledo Bend for 20+ years and I think he has found a new favorite place to stay. The location was great, the house was perfect for our needs with a great porch and view of the water and pier access down to the water. Six Mile Boat Launch was across the street and made it super convenient for all of our needs. We have already booked this place for my husbands annual fishing trip with his brothers in March 2022.

What a great location! We were able to tie the boat up right on the bank by the house. Great fishing just a short boat run in six mile toward the main lake. We were also only 25 min from Sam Rayburn to boot! The house was a great place to hang out and rest in between trips.
