The property is great, the host was great.
The stairs are a challenge, especially with a dog that requires regular walks. Oliver was not a fan of steps, but he is now a pro!

The Doublejack Guesthouse is so well-appointed and comfortable that it's very much worth the 75 steps it takes to get there! Great hosts, beautiful views, can't recommend highly enough!

I highly recommend Bob’s place, it’s conveniently located in Old Bisbee (walking distance to shops, restaurants) and very well appointed and comfortable. Bob is a great host, attentive and thinks of many small details to ensure his guests are comfortable.

Beautiful cottage in the hills, romantic and walkable to everything. The owner was kind and available.
The descriptions are on point. The stairs are described honestly. We had no problem with them. It provided lovely views. We will stay again!

The Doublejack guesthouse was exactly what we wanted for our anniversary. It was a delight to have the owner, Bob, greet us on our arrival and give us a tour of the guesthouse. All typical amenities and more (such as the breakfast items) were provided and much appreciated. Inside and out was beautiful, location perfect, and I can't say we had any complaints. The climb up is well worth it! Thank you so much, Bob!

We loved staying at Doublejack. Bob and his partner have done an excellent job providing for the comfort of their guests. Everything in the cottage is tastefully done, from the high quality bedding and comfortable bed to the leather couch to the breakfast for our first morning. It was quiet and peaceful, and the deck (which they built themselves) has a table and chairs and a great view of the town. We had two dogs with us that were happy and comfortable throughout. They wouldn't have to have done so much in such a classy way to provide a well-liked VRBO, but they did and I see based on other reviews it has made the difference in guest's stay here and has brought them back multiple times. We would stay again if we ever returned to Bisbee.

One of the best places I’ve stayed in Bisbee. The guesthouse is the perfect size for two people. It’s private, clean, and has great amenities. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and easy to communicate with. They filled the bird feeder to watch birds, and stocked our fridge with the essentials. I would recommend the guesthouse fully, and plan to come back!

Fabulous renovated miners cabin in the heart of Bisbee. We will definitely come back.

Absolutely perfect. You do need to be prepared for the 70+ steps to climb up and down to get to the cabin. This would definitely not work if you have difficulty walking.

We loved our stay at this well-located Bisbee cottage with beautiful views. The breakfast items provided were a very generous touch! The space is warm and cozy and has everything you need if you'd like to do some cooking or just spend time relaxing. The spacious bathroom is beautiful, too. Its location near downtown Bisbee is perfect for exploring and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The hike up the stairs is definitely worth it - thanks for the great stay!

We loved the miner’s cottage! We stayed there for 3 nights and wish we were staying longer. The 75 steps up to the cottage were hard on my asthma the first time going up - used my rescue inhaler and fine after that. Well worth the climb. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the birds and soaking up the sun. Strongly recommend staying here.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Doublejack Guesthouse. Bob is a terrific host that stocked the fridge with eggs, milk & OJ which was a sign of his outstanding hospitality. Will stay here again whenever we come to Bisbee!

We have used vacation rentals dozens and dozens of times over the years and our host, Bob, undoubtedly tops the list! From the early communications to make sure we had all the info we need, to the calls and texts confirming directions were clear and everything was still a go Bob has it down! Granted, I know part of the effort was to ensure we understood the stairs involved accessing the guesthouse...but still. There was OJ, Milk, eggs, fresh sourdough, and even his own coffee beans in place to make us feel welcome and save a trip or 3 to the store! Additionally, the bed and pillows were super comfy, the bathroom and shower were perfect and well stocked, and the bird watching was wonderful from the super comfy new couch! Everything was perfect...just be sure to not underestimate the stairs - just like the rest of Bisbee, these stairs will make sure that metabolism keeps burning so you have plenty of room for more of the great food from the local restaurants!

Cozy cabin with all the amenities. We enjoyed the view, nice overlook of Bisbee. Easy walk to the restaurants and downtown stores and galleries. Hope to return some day. Hosts are super and communication with them easy.

The cabin was cozy yet spacious for two adults. The claw foot tub was so relaxing and such a nice touch. Our hosts stocked the kitchen with everything we could want for breakfast on our first morning: fresh bread, eggs, juice, milk, and fresh, locally roasted coffee! They also had tea and hot chocolate for us as well <3! Sure there was a TV we could use to stream shows, but the best entertainment was the bird feeders 2 feet from the windows! We woke up to Thrashers, sparrows, finches, cardinals, and hummingbirds! It was honestly the highlight of our visit. Thanks again and we hope to be back again soon!

We have vacationed in Bisbee for 15 years, and have stayed at many places. This is our fourth time at the DJ, and it is still our favorite place !

Bob takes such great care to always us feel welcome. Even though we stay there quite often. Everything is clean, comfortable and even includes some fresh goodies.
Would recommend to anyone that can walk the stairs.
Patio is the best for relaxing.

Doublejack guesthouse, perched above Bisbee in the Mule Mountains, was breathtakingly beautiful. From the hummingbirds to a family of deer, one of the best parts of the trip was sitting outside in the patio area mornings and evenings. Another favorite of mine was the original clawfoot tub in what was originally a miner’s cabin. Everything was lovely from beginning to end. Magical time!

My husband and I stayed at the guest house and plan to return. A lot of thought and care has been put into this property... ranging from the impeccable heating/cooling, design, amazing shower, landscaping, comfortable furniture and bed, and on and on. Bob and Jeff were warm, inviting, and attentive yet never intrusive--just delightful! The location was excellent. Note that the stairway to get to the place is a steep 70 stairs, so make sure you can climb. Advantage of the stairs, though, is the privacy that being up on the hill affords.

Lovely cottage perfect for getting away from it all. Lots of stairs for getting those $10k steps.
The cottage is very well thought out and met all of our needs.
Sit on the patio enjoy the view, sunshine and nature!
This was our second stay and we enjoyed it even more!

This little cabin is a real gem! It was just right for the two of us, cozy and charming. The big bed was very comfortable, and enjoying morning coffee on the deck was magical. Lots of birds visiting the garden. Late night thunderstorms and flashing lightning made it very romantic. Bob was terrific and we felt truly welcomed. The 75 steps weren’t so bad after all, and ensured privacy of the cottage. Our three days went far too quickly.

I rented this wonderful place for my partner’s birthday and we couldn’t have been more impressed by it! The location is awesome, complete with daily exercise, and the host, Bob was hands down the best we’ve had in our rental experiences. From the special gifts we received at check in, to the recommendations for a special birthday meal he was awesome! The place was as cute as can be and decorated perfectly. Great bed and bathroom but the patio was our favorite. We will stay here again and have recommended it to many already. Thank you Bob and Jeff!

Cute place; very authentically Bisbee! Close enough to downtown area to be a short walk to get there, but also far enough away to be quite quiet (with windows closed anyway). You'll get some exercise going up the stairs so wear comfortable shoes! Bob was a great host and the provided breakfast stuff was a very nice plus to the whole experience.

Lovely restored miner’s cottage in an ideal location. Walkable (as long as you can hike 75 stairs), yet quiet and private. Bob is the perfect host - helpful, prompt, and friendly, yet you have undisturbed privacy during your stay. Cottage is well-appointed and adorable. Will definitely stay again.

So worth the haul up the steps! The Double Jack had everything we needed, from the big comfy bed to the tub to the little touches like providing eggs, butter and bread. Our dog loved to watch the birds outside our window and we even saw a deer. A lovely place!

The Doublejack is a great alternate to the Bisbee hotels in town. Bob was an excellent host. Providing the coffee, bread, eggs, milk, and orange juice was a very nice touch. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the birds at the feeders and the spectacular view. If you're considering a stay in Bisbee, this is an excellent choice.

Nice cabin for two. 75 steps to the gate. Great host who cares about your stay. The birds, trees, and flowers are wonderful in May.
