Guests raved about the beautiful location, well-equipped condos, convenient amenities, and great snorkeling opportunities right in front of the property. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay with stunning views!

Nice shipwreck out front. Did some snorkeling and watched the sun set and cruise ships come and go.

Just loved this peaceful area of 7 mile beach. The grounds were like a private backyard with privacy, a patio to read, and never more than 7 people at the pool area! Great snorkeling near the small boat wreck close off shore. Close to a beautiful supermarket. Comfortable mattresses, well equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and management very responsive to an A/C issue we had. Could not have relaxed and enjoyed ourselves more! We would definitely book again!

The condo was well outfitted, comfortable and welcoming. Views of the pool and Caribbean. Low key and quiet. Not for parties or rowdy vacationers. A perfect spot to unwind, swim, snorkel and yet close to everything.
A return visit is a definite.

The location and amenities were perfect for us! Enjoyed snorkeling right out the back of the condo, used the pool and tennis courts, too! The condo was stocked with everything we needed! Our property contact was very helpful and responsive! Highly recommend this property!

Nice spot, was well taken care of and perfectly situated. Others were owners, gave good suggestions for food and adventure.
Our kids loved snorkeling. A sunken ship is right there.
The beach is sandy above the waterline but "iron shore" below. There are soft-edged rocks on entry, so mostly navigable barefoot. This seems common on the island except on 7-mile beach, which is mostly sandy. To the left and right of the beach-looking area, there's more aggressive iron shore that drops off to about 8'. Snorkeling is pretty good right there, so literally right in front of the property are tropical fish! To the right there's a ladder entrance into an almost swimming pool-like area of iron shore. This is a trouble-free entrance if snorkeling, no edges to watch out for.
Easy parking, 1 spot labeled for the unit that was always available for us.
The only things that threw us was an occasional faint smell, maybe of the landfill that is a long ways off or of some trees around the area or something. Though rare, it was a little off every now/then. Secondly, there's an interesting amount of glass on the beach. All that we found was "sea-glass" because it had worn down, soft edges, but it was broken glass.
Not actually 7mile "beach", 3-4 condos away from iron shore-free, sandy "beach".
The island is expensive. Prices are ~2x the US and then a 1.2x conversion rate + tip always included. So, almost 3x what it cost in the US. Sandwiches at the condo mostly kept us fed.
Great place!

A lovely condo in a relaxing corner of Seven Mile Beach. We appreciated the shared coal BBQs, and it was really cool having the wreck of the Gamma just off the beach too.

PERFECT accommodations for a perfect island
We just returned from a five night stay and our first visit to Grand Cayman. The property was perfect, well equipped with everything we needed, comfortable beds, amazing view and nice beach.
It is conveniently located near the airport and quiet. My teens loved snorkeling the shipwreck and my sea glass beach combing need was perfectly fulfilled by the serene location. We liked that it was a bit out of the way from the big resorts and there weren't people everywhere. Groceries were nearby. Great value and highly recommend Cocoplum #3

Cocoplum 3 - amazing experience
This was our first time to GCI, but I think we were literally in the best location. It’s a quick walk or short bus ride to everything you need. The unit was clean, plenty of towels were supplied, the king bed was comfy, and the the place is spacious with everything you need to make the best of your stay. With a pool and beach as your backyard, the patio is the perfect place to watch sunsets and cruise ships while listening to ocean waves. I actually don’t know about the working of the TVs and such as we never turned them on - but the WiFi and blender worked great!
One thing I would recommend is investing in snorkel gear because there are a lot of amazing things to see in your backyard and you won’t want to have to rent every time. You don’t need fins for the reef there, but I’d recommend neoprene socks for getting in and out of the beach (it’s a little rocky) and an inflatable snorkel vest as some of the reef is quite shallow and you don’t want to touch it. There is an outside shower to clean everything when you’re done.
We really had the prefect week in GCI and I’m quite sure we’ll be back!

Excellent spot for young families
Property is well described in the photos. Location is very good for not being on Seven Mile Beach, as most of the neighboring condo complexes don't have as nice of a beach out front (most are very rocky). There's a shipwreck you can snorkel through in calm waters - wreck of the gamma (recommend high tide). The green space out front of the unit is perfect for kids to run around in. The condo complex is very quiet and laid back - definitely not a party atmosphere. Baby monitors work from the kids' room out to the pool area which is great for naptime. The TV has lots of channels, including a kids channel, which obviously can make things simpler when you need it. Pool is a great temperature. Parking is close. Kitchen is well appointed. Everything you could need is there. Sunsets are amazing. All around thought it was perfect for us (two adults and a toddler).
Only two things that a person might want to be aware of: 1) BBQs are not permitted on the condo balconies....I think it's a Cayman regulation so I don't think they're allowed anywhere else. And the two shared BBQs are charcoal. So if you're a big grilling person, that might be an issue for you (we didn't care). 2) If you have a child that's hoping to do a lot of body surfing etc, there are waves at times certainly, but there's a bit of hard coral, so I'm not sure how well it would work. That being said, I did see a father and son doing just that.
But honestly, we were very very happy with the unit. You won't regret booking this place. It's awesome.

Beautiful and Amazing!
The location is perfect with a private beach, great snorkeling right out front including a ship wreck! The condo was very clean, well stocked kitchen, and comfy beds. Walking distance to many stores and restaurants. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, beach towels, and two beach chairs stocked in the condo. Sunsets were out of this world! The pool was a little warm for our liking but it was clean and enjoyable. Plenty of loungers, chairs, and tables. Pam was quick to answer any questions! Would definitely recommend and we would love to stay here again!

Quiet, beautiful, peaceful....we all agreed that after several excursions around the Island, we actually had the best spot right here at Cocoplum #3. We will definitely return!

Perfect condo
We loved Cocoplum. Terrific location small beach right out front with great snorkeling. Walkable to many shops, bars, restaurants. Condo is clean, comfortable and relaxing. Perfect for families or couples. Complex is fairly quiet but still close to amenities. Would love to stay again.

Great retreat.
Clean and super well equipped property steps from the beach and great snorkeling. Pool and tennis courts a few steps away.
This property had Everything we needed and Pam helped to coordinate a grocery delivery before our Sunday arrival. Perfect for a small family and allowed us a fabulous holiday retreat. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Easy bus/taxi access on the main street. Great Property - and quiet.

OK Value for the Money
Fairly low-end rental in a good location for snorkeling. Place shows significant wear and tear that was either not addressed at all or fixed somewhat haphazardly. Assigned parking space rarely available because it was occupied by contractors working for the complex management company. Beds as soft as beanbags. Midweek cleaning did not involve as much as even restocking toilet paper. All in all a functional rental but nothing more than that at a price that is comparable to an off-season room at the Marriott.

Perfect!
This was our first trip to Grand Cayman and our stay at Coco Plum was perfect! We have two boys (10 and 11) who love to snorkel and the snorkeling in front of Coco Plum was one of our favorite places on the island. Each morning we would sit on the patio and look over the beautiful water and some mornings we would watch the ships come in. The entire process was so simple and the accommodations were even better than we had hoped for. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay on our perfect vacation. Thank you!!!

You get what you pay for and it's worth every penny!
Cocoplum #3 was exactly what we hoped it would be and more! The location alone is worth the price! But the unit is so well appointed and the grounds are so well taken care of that we were very satisfied. The incessant roosters crowing did get on my nerves but I chased them out of the yard daily. I was hoping for a propane gas grill but it was a Weber charcoal grill which was fine but added work on vacation. Also, bring your own shampoo & conditioner. This was our first rental, hotel or Airbnb where that wasn't provided. But that aside, you have a great view right out your door with amazing snorkeling right off the beach with a sunken ship. Bring earplugs for the Roosters! It's not just Cocoplum - it's the entire island. Chickens are everywhere.

Excellent week on Grand Cayman!
Cocoplum condo is a very nice place in a quiet, yet convenient area of 7 Mile Beach... It was a good base of operations for our recent vacation. Furnishings are basic but comfortable & you can snorkel right in front of complex! Property managers were quick to respond to questions. We really enjoyed our trip!

Absolutely wonderful property. Very quite and peaceful. Can walk out your back door and snorkel.
I would rate this condo a 5 star.

Fabulous view of Paradise
Condo was at a great location that was within walking or local bus distance to many restaurants, shopping and the grocery store. While the beach access is rocky, the snorkeling of the closely situated wreck of the Gamma was exceptional (we snorkeled this wreck 3 times). My only gripe was that the air conditioner could have worked better. The condo is well equipped and we did not lack for anything.

It was a beautiful quite place to enjoy the beach in peace.
We loved staying here! The place had a gorgeous view and we walked out and had our coffee every morning enjoying the View of the Carribean. It was a quite niche where we were able to snorkel right off our beach at a sunken ship! Our boys actually preferred to be here than at the famous 7 mile beach which was a bit crowded.
Cris was amazing at communicating and getting back to me quickly.
I would recommend this place to anyone!

Perfect in every way
My wife and I plus another couple we traveled with thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay at Cocoplum. I want to agree with all of the great comments contained in the other reviews. Before our trip, I was a little skeptical of all the positive comments but now I can't wait to return. The condo is perfectly situated - quiet but not isolated. Just walk out the slider doors and there's the best place to view the cruise ships coming in each morning and the amazing sunsets. The grounds are immaculate. The interior is comfortable and has all the things you need for a relaxing stay. It is easy to use the public transportation. The busses are large vans that seat around 15. It costs around $2.50 USD per person for most short trips. We took the bus to the beach known as "Public Beach" which had chairs and umbrella to rent ($5 per lounge chair and $10 per umbrella). And the beachfront restaurant "Calico Jacks" served great food and drink. There were several magazines in the condo highlighting the various day trips and eateries. The beds were very comfortable. Cris was great to work with. She responded quickly each time I sent a question as I was preparing for the trip. She even checked in with us after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. If you're planning a trip to Grand Cayman, look no further of a place to stay.

Right on the Beach
This was just what we wanted: comfort, very nice furnishings and a beautiful beach. We had our own secluded beach with a great view of the ocean and ships visiting Grand Cayman. The location was perfect for walking to World Gym, grocery store, many restaurants, bars and a variety of shopping. The groundswell well maintained. We also walked to Georgetown about one mile away. There was no reason to have a car because we could use the reliable public bus for any long travels. Our only disappointment was that Pam, who was supposed to answer any questions, never returned our call. The good news is that our neighbors were all eager to fill in with answers to all our island questions. The condo was cleaned excellently during our stay by Paula, who was personable and kind. Cris, the owner, was very helpful from the booking process thru our stay and even after our return home. She's easy to deal with. This was a good fit for us.
