About this apartment hotel

This incredible one bedroom condo is available for rent at an affordable price! The Wyndham Canterbury at San Francisco is located at the heart of downtown San Francisco. This resort is within walking distance of shops, restaurants and bars at Union Square, an two blocks from the city's world famous car system. The car system can take you to the golden gate bridge, fisherman's wharf, and china town. The resort has a fitness center, computer room, and game room.

The condo available for rent is a one bedroom condo. The condo comes with a partial kitchen with an electric skillet, microwave, refrigerator, cookware and dishes. In the bedroom there is a queen size bed, flat screen TV and a bathroom. The living room has a couch that turns into a queen size sofa sleeper with a flat screen TV. There are complimentary laundry rooms on each floor of the resort building.

The rental is for the entire condo unit. The resort amenities are shared by all resort condos.

Parking is not included with the rental. Nearby self-parking is available at Butterick Garage (840 Sutter St, San Francisco, CA 94109). Compact and Standard vehicles are $40.00 per night and oversize vehicles are $50.00 per night with in/out privilege. All rates expire at 1PM on day of check out.

The name provided will need to be the name of the person responsible for checking into the condo. The name on the reservation with be the only one allowed to check in with the resort front desk. The remaining guests will be added at check in with the resort front desk. ANY CHANGES TO THE GUEST CONFIRMATION ONCE CONFIRMED REQUIRES A $129 CHANGE FEE.

The person responsible for checking into the condo with the resort front desk is required to be 21 or over with valid ID. The resort front desk requires a refundable $250.00 credit card hold at check in.

The resort is a Club Wyndham Vacation Resort. The resort front desk assigns all resort condos. If you have any requests it is best to call the resort front desk 7 days prior to the check in date. The listing photos are of one of the resort condos. The condos may vary slightly.

We had a very enjoyable stay here. Close to transit and several nice restaurants where we ate breakfast or dinner. We walked a lot to and from our outings and it was nice that the hotel wasn't on too steep of hill. The service was great and helped us whenever we needed something. The room was clean and a great retreat at the end of our long days

I stayed here for a work trip for 10 days. The location is close to Union Square and the Financial District, so you have pretty much anything you need in walking distance. I found the listing accurate and the check in/out process to be simple and smooth. The staff were all helpful and nice, so my stay here was quite enjoyable!

We had a great time visiting San Fran for the first time. The location is 2 blocks from union square, and you can get to anything from there. The property is lovely and had any amenity we could need for our short stay. The host was easy to contact and gave great instructions for an easy check in and check out process. I would not hesitate to rent this property again for my next visit.

This room was exactly what I needed. It's centrally located in the city, walkable to Market Street, Moscone Center, etc. The entire resort was very clean. My room was great. The kitchenette was a nice perk, with plates, silverware, a fridge, dish soap, the whole 9. Really great. Weirdly enough, the excellent water pressure in the shower was perhaps the most memorable characteristics of the room. Really great stay. Friendly staff. It was a win. Thank you!

This apartment had everything we reached for and more. Nice quality kitchen tools, dishes, and glasses. Plenty of blankets, pillows, and throws. Bathroom was roomy, newly remodeled, with lots of towels. Everything was clean. We would definitely stay here again.

In town for a long weekend and theater (Harry Potter at the Curran). Perfect location and fantastic property. Suite was clean and comfortable, and the Canterbury staff were friendly and helpful. They will encourage you to do the timeshare presentation, but will take a friendly 'no' for an answer. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved the room. Beautiful, clean and employees were super friendly amd helpful. Wyndham representatives need to be less rude. Once they didn't get their sale, they were very ignorant. But the Canterbury and our room was perfect!

The Wyndham is a very nice hotel/condo property. However, when we arrived at approximately 10:30 pm, after confirming we required a late check-in due to attending the football game that evening, we were told our room had been given away and there was no other rooms available. In the 10 years I have been booking through Home Away this has never happened. We were tired after a long day of flying and football and the last thing we wanted was to go to another hotel for the night, which after about an hour of phone calls to other hotels and the Wyndham management, is what happened. We were only in San Fran for 4 nights so this was a big inconvenience and we had to rearrange our plans the next morning so as to make sure we were able to check-in to Wyndham. Once we did, the rest of the stay was very pleasant. However, this was the first and last time I will book hotel style accommodation through Home Away, only private homes/condos from now on. For anyone booking Wyndham hotel accommodation through Home Away, make sure you speak with the hotel/resort directly to confirm your booking instead of relying on the person you booked the accommodation with through Home Away.

The property was exactly as described. Very safe and convenient to transit, Union Square, and Chinatown. Front desk and employees were kind, considerate, and thoughtful. Beds were firm but it was quiet and clean. Great for the purpose of our visit.

Stayed here for 3 nights in July. The room wasn't ready when we arrived, but they were able to store our luggage for us in the meantime while we walked around the area to get the lay of the land. Quick walk to union sqaure, and so close to public transit! This place is really in a great location! Every staff member we encountered was so friendly, and very helpful. Loved the water, lemonade, and, coffee in the lobby every day, and the friendly "welcome back" whenever we returned to the condo. Concierge was also very helpful, and provided maps and tips for us during our stay. The room was perfect for our group of 4. Loved having a kitchenette to keep some food, and have the option to eat in if we wanted. Fully stocked with dish soap, laundry detergent, kitchen towels, and plates etc. Huge bathroom as well. My only wish was for more storage space for toiletries, but found room elsewhere. Overall a wonderful stay in SF! Great way to end a 10 day trip around California! Will definitely return some day!
