Your dream vacation awaits in this 4100 square foot lakehouse!! We just underwent a year long 600k renovation project...making it one of the premier MILLION DOLLAR homes on the Cedar Creek Lake! It was completed in August 2022. The renovation included all new foundation, plumbing, electrical, framing, a Professional chef kitchen with luxury appliances ie Wolf gas range, built in Professional Series refrigerator and freezer columns (quartz countertops, Sonic nugget ice machine, wine refrigerator, double dishwashers, double wall ovens), Restoration Hardware light fixtures, Pella windows, double washer/dryers, Sonos sound system/cameras/wifi/Ring doorbell/outdoor speakers, flooring, paint, metal accent roof, 3 new HVAC systems, tankless water heaters with recirculating hot water pump, large covered back deck/porch with Weber grill, new ARCADE with 60 games...and much more!
Our 5bd/5br (sleeps 21 in beds) waterfront luxury home is the perfect location for a summer vacation, weekend escape, family reunion, or even a fisherman's getaway! The luxury house sits on a huge, heavily treed lot, with amazing sunset views from the main house or deck, and also from the upstairs master suite. It's also great for keeping a close eye on kids playing in the yard, fishing off the dock, or splashing around in the lake.
A large outdoor new composite deck boasts plenty of room for grilling, relaxing in new comfortable patio furniture and chaise loungers with your morning coffee, or having a glass of wine or evening meal in the evening on new Adirondack patio table and chairs for 6 people. A tree hammock accents the shaded yard with plenty of opportunities for that mid-afternoon nap! Near the water, we have a large outdoor propane fireplace/chimney for enjoying smores with the kids in the evening while sharing laughs and making memories with ample Adirondack chair seating. Access from the house to the dock is made easy with a large flagstone walkway, with illuminated deck stair lights.
The boat dock (with 2 brand new 8000 pound boat lifts w/ remotes) has plenty of room for catching sun, eating, fishing, boating, swimming, or just watching the starlit nights! The water depth ranges from 4-10 ft around the dock with a safe, sandy bottom. Crappie, bass, and catfish are plentiful under and around the dock, making a FISH FRY an easy meal one night of your stay! We have installed 2 large whips, capable of docking up to a 25' guest boat during the daytime or overnight.
The house is fully equipped with standard new kitchen appliances, flatware, new dishes and luxury knife set, utensils, coffee pot, and all the amenities of home! A large dining room and table (seats 8) and great room have uninhibited views of the yard and lake via floor to ceiling windows and a large sliding glass door. There is additional seating for 4 more around the large kitchen island for guests. There is a large 75in Samsung smart HDTV in the living room, and 55in Samsung smart HDTV's in the bunk room, and each of the master bedrooms.
The downstairs master en-suite (king bed) has a large walk-in closet, walk-in shower, stand alone bathtub, double sink vanity, and amazing views. The shower is large enough for 2, with plenty of power! The other downstairs bedroom has 2 queen beds, and nice access to its bathroom with a tub/shower. There is a 2nd master suite (kind bed + single twin) upstairs with a double head shower for 2 people as well, along with a double sink vanity, and great lake views from the large window. The other bedroom upstairs has a queen bed + single twin and its own bathroom with standing shower. We also have a bonus bunk room upstairs with has 3 built in single bunk beds over 3 queen bunk beds for the kids or extra sleeping arrangements. There is a large closet, double sink vanity, and large walk-in shower. ALL BEDS, MATTRESSES, SHEETS, COMFORTERS, AND PILLOWS are BRAND NEW...as well as the LIVING ROOM SECTIONAL, DINING TABLE AND CHAIRS, PATIO FURNITURE, and most of the DECOR!!!!
There is a front garage and adjoining driveway which accommodates 3-4 cars. An in-ground basketball goal accents the driveway for anyone wanting to perfect their jumpshot!
We have the most comfortable new pillow-top beds and cold A/C for any of you late sleepers!! This end of the lake has deeper, clearer water, for better fishing, and is only minutes away from Tara Winery. Each year, we have four families that go to the lake for a long weekend. This is our second year staying at this beautiful property. And once again, it hit it out of the park. The location is great. The water is perfect for swimming off the doc. It had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary here with 5 children and 12 grandchildren. The home was clean and beautiful, the beds exceptionally comfortable, the laundry room had 2 washers and 2 dryers, and the kitchen was amazing with everything we needed along with a huge refrigerator/freezer, 2 dishwashers. Plenty of room inside and outside for eating, sitting, and visiting. We rented kayaks from Cedar Creek Boats and had a lot of fun with them along with swimming off the dock. The outdoor fireplace was also a very nice feature. Jeff was very helpful with information about the property and responsive to questions we had. A great experience overall!

Staying the lake house with my friends for three days，the interior and exterior of the house is so good. Interior: kitchen is clean and modern, bedrooms are clean, bedding things are nice and cozy. Every window has beautiful views. Exterior: the back yard size is big, lots of facilities provided us much fun. It is a perfect lake house to hangout with friends. It is easy and convenient to communicate with the owner.

We had a wonderful time at this property for our getaway of 4 families with small children ages 18 months to 7 years old. The house was incredibly clean and very well stocked with all of the essentials. There were plenty of towels for the lake. The two fridges and two sets of washers and dryers came in handy! There are two small stairs from the living room up to the kitchen, but our kiddos all navigated them just fine. The kitchen had almost every tool or gadget we needed to cook three meals a day. The owners were great! Super easy to communicate with before and during our stay. We will 100% be coming back next year!

This is a beautiful home with many amenities. Room for our large family to gather and yet have private sleeping spaces. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare all meals on-site. The owners are very good communicators. We hope to visit this house again one day.

This property exceeded our expectations. We had four families for our annual summer vacation and there was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and the kids enjoyed swimming throughout our stay! The ice machine was definitely a hit! Host was quick to respond to any questions when needed. Definitely recommend this property!

I couldn’t believe my eyes when we first walked in to the lake house. I did a quick walk through to see how everyone’s sleeping arrangements would be and I was very impressed because I have a big family and everyone was able to have their own place to sleep on. Everything in this house is soo beautiful and modern. The view towards the lake was amazing. Jeff was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had and very helpful before we even set foot in the house. I will be back very soon.

The host is super responsive and the house is perfect setup for any occasion. The property is absolutely more beautiful in person. Very clean and has everything to make your stay comfortable. Booked 4 days, group of teenagers & us parents. We loved the bedroom setups, separate wings for the teenage boys and girls with their own bathrooms. Lake view is gorgeous. We rented jet skis, kayaks and endless hours fishing & playing in the water. Great fun memories. Highly recommend the property and we would definitely book again!!

Ages 1-82 we had the best weekend ever on the lake. Family get together of 18 adults and 4 children. Everyone had a beautiful place to sleep with everything you could ask for in a vrbo! Jet ski docks, boat dock, ice machine, luxury home that is more wonderful than the description! Location and amenities were fantastic- only draw back was the owner is an Aggie! 😁 GO IRISH!

This VRBO is absolutely the best rental in this area. The house was pristine, filled with everything you need for a enjoyable vacation right on the lake. Spotless and the beds were so comfortable! The owner gave us all information needed prior to arrival and did a fantastic job communicating quickly when we reached out to him. I can’t rate this property highly enough, we will definitely be back!

Our experience was just as the other reviewers described. The house and the grounds are beautiful. Plenty of room for our 3 families- 6 adults and 7 kids. It was so relaxing and the weather was perfect. Kids and adults enjoyed fishing, playing games, long walks and solid quality time together! Thanks Jeff for helping us create forever memories!

I can’t say enough great things about this amazing Lakehouse. We stayed here for our sons wedding at Margot Hill in Malakoff (perfect location) It is literally a like walking in to a brand new home. The bunk room is perfect if you have lots of teens to accommodate…super fun room. The view, accommodations, communication,, amenities, fire pit, backyard, deck, wow, just everything we needed was really top notch! Can’t even imagine how much better it will be in the summer!

Awesome Lakehouse
I have stayed at this property 3 different times now. The house is in a great location, very comfortable beds, you can rent a boat nearby and park at the dock. House kitchen is very well equipped so you don't have to worry about things like bringing salt, pepper, oil, foil, etc. I highly recommend for anyone wanting to have a fun family week/weekend on Cedar Creek.

Beautiful lake front home. The house is just what we hoped for. It is a perfect house for a couple small families (or a big family like ours) to get away and enjoy the lake. The owner was responsive and the home had everything we needed for a great week! We would definitely stay again!

Another great stay!
This was our second stay at the property and it did not disappoint. The home is located on a beautiful property with exceptional views, great swimming and very nicely landscaped lawn. We enjoyed sitting on the dock, by the fireplace and on the patio. Views are great from all locations. Kids loved swimming and it’s near two inlets that are great for exploring on paddle boards or kayaks. Kids loved staying in the bunk room. Beds and couches are so comfortable and the inside is well appointed with everything we needed. We’ve stayed at a couple of properties on this lake and this is by far our favorite. Can’t wait to come back.

Before booking a VRBO, I like to read the reviews to figure out what I might need to bring during my stay at the rental. In this case, I couldn't find any reviews that mentioned what extras I need to bring and it's because the owners stock the kitchen and bathrooms with all the paper goods and soaps you would possible need for a short stay! Even extra towels!!!The only thing I feel I should mentioned is I would say to ask about the items that are shown in the pictures to see if they are available during your stay. And with so many extras available, it would be helpful if the owners left an instruction book on how to use all the amenities. Wonderful house, property and owners! Can't wait for our next chance to stay!

Fantastic House & Lot!
We had a fantastic time at the Nance Lake House! Owner is very responsive and communicative. House was clean, well stocked & we felt at home. The outdoor fireplace was a hit with the kids to make s'mores. The large swing was a bonus that was enjoyed by all. Had a blast!!

Holiday Getaway!
We had a wonderful time at the Nance Lake House! I was not upset that the WiFi did not work (Jeff had warned us of a tower being worked on, not their fault) as it forced the kids to play games and hang more. My Aggie husband especially appreciate all of the Aggie touches around the property! Thank you!

Perfect for Families with Kids
Our two families of four had a great fall weekend at this house. The bunk beds in the downstairs bedroom created a perfect hideout for our kiddos ages 4-7. We fished all day and used the outdoor fire place in the evening. The deck, dock and all the outdoor landscaping was nicely kept. Can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful location
Everything was exactly as shown on the listing. It was a peaceful, lovely property, with gorgeous trees for days. I could have spent hours in the hammock listening to the wind in the leaves and the lapping of the waves. My 7 yo was mostly jazzed about nightly s'mores in the outdoor fireplace. The water was a little too chilly and deep for us to spend more than a small amount of time swimming, but it would be AMAZING in the summer.

Incredible time
A group of old friends and I got together here for a weekend trip. We found a fishing guide to take us out Saturday morning then spent the rest of the day enjoying the beautiful house and dock. Such a clean, spacious home. The dock set up was awesome as well. We really enjoyed our stay!

Quick getaway
My family rented this property for a quick 3 night getaway in late June 2020. House was great! We fished, swam, and enjoyed time as a family. Kids loved the bunk room. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals each day. The living room had cozy furniture for relaxing. We had rain one afternoon, but the high quality internet allowed for easy streaming on the smart tv. We enjoyed s’mores one night at the outdoor fireplace which was a lot of fun. Overall it’s a great place and we’d stay again in the future.

Perfect Environment for Lake Fun
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it to anyone looking to spend time relaxing by and on the water. The kids enjoyed the tree swing, fishing off the dock and countless hours playing in the water. Quite honestly, the adults in our group enjoyed all of this as well! The house was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate two families with teenage boys and younger kids and included a ton of water toys and beach towels for everyone to use. The backyard was gorgeous, filled with trees that created the perfect canopy of shade. Jeff, the owner, was extremely responsive both through the VRBO app prior to us checking in and via text - responding almost instantly when I reached out with a question during our stay. We will definitely look to stay here again.

Beautiful property - very well maintained. Excellent accommodations for 6 adults and 2 grandchildren. Well located on the lake with beautiful East Texas lake views. The owner was very easy to work with. We'd be happy to book again.

Beautiful and relaxing
We enjoyed our stay. There were 4 of us total 1 teen 3 adults. The house is well maintained and beautiful. Wildlife was fun to watch from the back porch. A little fox came across the deck two of the mornings, a HUGE Egret(?) was out near the water looking for fish. Turtles swimming by the dock while we were floating about and fishing. Boat rental a couple minutes away which was convenient. We would definitely stay here again. The owners were very quick to respond when we had questions. Awesome!

Great lake house getaway from the city
My family spent 3 days out at this property in early June. It's got great access to the lake, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and property is well maintained. We really enjoyed our time here and plan to be back in a few months.
