Our family really enjoyed the big backyard where we played badminton, water games, baseball, soccer, bubbles, and especially the hot tub! The outdoor shower was a great addition to use when we returned from the beach and needed to wash all the sand off. Our little ones especially loved finding the secret room that they hid in when it was time to go to bed!! But the BEST of all was the spectacular view of the lake!! On the other hand there was one downside and that was the A/C did not work in the bedrooms above the garage. Our solution was to open up the windows at night and get it cooled down then in the morning we would close them up before it got hot and it kept the temperature around 75° which lasted until 8:00pm then we would start the process over again! It worked for us!

Great location, view and property. Would rent there again.

This property was perfect for our big family. Plenty of room for kids, and other activities to all go on at the same time. Record outdoor temperatures made sleeping in the upper rooms a challenge the first night, but once it cooled down, it was great! We loved the big back yard perfect for games, hot tubing, out-door movie at night, bbq grilling, etc. Kitchen was so well equiped; two refrigerators/freezers (so great for alot of people). We experienced a power bump one night as a result of a local storm. Property mangrs/owner responded quickly to problems that occured. We would definitely stay here again!!!

We loved staying here. The listing is accurate and the house was very well stocked with everything we needed for cooking meals. The view of the lake is amazing and so relaxing. We highly recommend this home and hope to stay here again.

House is exactly like pictures except a few things need to be cleaned, updated or added.
Cleaned the outside shower (full of spiders) and the hot tub was not clean, bird poop on outside and inside needed to be cleaned. Also it never got hot (luke warm).
Updated electrical - breakers need to be constantly reset in order to use the dishwasher and if you had more than one appliance going.
Added - there was only one bath room that had soap, shampoo and conditioner and the 2 rooms above the garage do not have air conditioning and in June - July never were cool.
There was plenty of parking and lawn to play outdoor activities.
The owner did communicate on a timely manner and overall the property was nice for our family event.

Our family loved this house. The double fridges and dishwashers was a huge plus (along with the walk-in-pantry. The large deck, grassy back yard, and view of lake were favorites. All the bedrooms where a good size and the family room was large and accommodating.

This cabin was perfect for our family reunion at Bear Lake. We had 12 adults and 13 children (ranging from 2 to 17 years), and there was plenty of space for everyone. The house is beautifully designed with gorgeous views of the lake (we hired a photographer to take family photos in the backyard, and they turned out great). The house is very well stocked, and the kitchen has everything a large group would need, including dishes, spices, pots/pans, crockpots, waffle makers, etc. (it doesn't show in the pictures, but there is a second fridge as well). For what you get, I think this place is one of the best values on VRBO! Would highly recommend!

Beautiful home with beautiful views of the snowy mountains and glassy blue lake. Kitchen was stocked with cooking appliances as described. Rooms were nice & beds were comfortable. There were 20 people in our group, 14 adults 4 kids and 2 toddlers, and the place was just big enough to accommodate all of us. Sarah was very responsive to our questions throughout the stay. Rigorous checkout procedures even for vrbo standards, particularly one requirement to drive all trash to a dumpster half a mile down the road. Hot tub had some sand in it, assuming from previous guests that visited in the summer. Other than that we had a wonderful stay and would recommend :)

We had a wonderful time. A Great home. The addition of a swimming pool would have been over the top.
Need to add grab bars for elderly in bathroom. We suggest that some hooks on bathroom doors would be an inexpensive addition.

Fun family week at Bear Lake!
This house is perfect for our family of married kids with their families. The grandkids all have a place as well as the adults. The location is great and the yard is ideal. The property manager, Sarah, is very quick to respond to any problem that may arise, and is always very helpful and happy. We will stay here again!

Our Bear Lake Family waterski Trip
Our family had a wonderful time together sharing fun at the beach, in the boats surfing, wakeboarding, sailing and eating great meals!
The views of the lake from this property are so beautiful. We spent most of our days on the water and enjoyed watching the Olympics and beading bracelets until late at night. Ping pong was a hit too! The back yard was so fun for the kids to play badminton and run around! We enjoyed eating out on the deck too.
The rooms over the garage were pretty warm (85* at night) and I would suggest adding air conditioning to that area. Some of the cupboards including the garbage cabinet needed a good cleaning.
All in all we loved staying at your beautiful home. The decor was especially fun. Thank you for providing this beautiful home.

The Best Family Week in this House!
This house was just great for our family vacation! It was comfortable and had everything we needed. The view from almost every room was beautiful. Sarah was so easy to work with and quick to answer our questions. The kids all had a blast playing with the toys. The location was perfect for beach access as well as the town. Each bedroom was cool and comfortable for all of us and the outdoor shower was a big hit. We will definitely book this house again... thank you!

Bear Lake Beauty
This property is beautiful! The views are spectacular. The house is very clean and well stocked. The view from the hot tub is lovely and so relaxing. My kids enjoyed throwing the football in the grassy area every evening. The beds are Very comfortable and there are many of them. The only thing this property lacks is a fire pit. My family mentioned a few times the desire to roast marshmallows and play guitar around one. We definitely appreciate the size and cleanliness of this house. We would stay here again.

Bear Lake House
House and yard were very nice, clean, layout was nice, view of the lake was incredible. Large grassy area for the children to run around on was great. Beds were comfortable. Only negative was inadequate plates and silverware. There was plastic silverware in the pantry but it would have been nice to have a few more metal forks and spoons. Lots of pans and cookware as well as spices and baking supplies in the cupboard. Overall very pleased with the property both in size and quality and would definitely consider returning.

4.5 star house perfect for large groups
Stayed here with 18 people for a family reunion and we would definitely stay again. The view was amazing and the layout of the house was great for our group. We loved the balance of common areas and places you could have some privacy when needed. Kids lived mainly in the basement playing wii and Xbox, and bunking in the bunk room. Quiet location, about a 5 minute drive to town or to lake access. Idaho is a short 6 min jaunt and had a great restaurant called Coopers we went to twice. Plenty of activities for all ages and interests.
The house is well stocked and very comfortable. We had plenty of dishes and silverware and were very grateful for two dishwashers, washers and dryers and refrigerators.

Room for everyone
This home was perfect for our family reunion (total 12 adults and 7 children). It is close to a boat launch and we found a beach not far off to hang out on for a bit. The home is decorated so tastefully, and the kitchen is full of useful items to prepare food for a hungry crew. We loved being able to use real dishes and save the paper for later. We also used the grassy area for fun games and activities and the hot tub was a popular spot for both kids and adults. The outdoor shower is brilliant.
The kids LOVED the secret room in the upper loft area! So clever!!
Sarah was very easy to communicate with and answered my questions in advance of our stay.
We felt very comfortable in this home and I have no doubt if we come to Bear Lake again, this will be our first choice.

2nd time staying here - great experience!
We had our annual family thing for the second time at this home and thoroughly enjoyed it. The basement gets cold, FYI. The kitchen is great...it’s big with lots of cookware, appliances, etc. We love eating on the deck (awesome view of the lake) and the yard is a great thing to have!! Tons of parking space. Overall a great home with lots of room.

This was the perfect place for our family reunion.
This home was perfect for our family reunion. We had 10 small children who loved the back yard and the toys. Their favorite place was the bookshelf surprise. The kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you for an amazing place to stay

The house was just perfect for our large family.
Everyone had their own space for privacy if needed. Our little ones were able to nap without others disturbing them. We enjoyed the peace and quiet after a day of boating as the house was situated perfectly for getting away from the crowds. The views of the lake were entertaining and beautiful anytime of the day.
We arrived July 5th, and weather was hotter then normal. The air conditioning in the rooms above the garage was not working and you could not stand the heat of the day. The vents were blowing just ambient air and the rooms never got cooled. It cooled down at night, but 2 of the 4 nights were warm, with no breeze to cool them. They finally cooled down after midnight. Both doors in the garage bathroom when locked can easily be pushed open. The hot tub was disgusting when we got there. I called Sarah and she said that it was to be fixed, but had not. She said she would call the maintenance man, but he never came. Even if he had, we would not have used it. The tub needed to be drained and scrubbed as there was a ring of scum. A few chemicals would not have cleaned it enough for us to feel comfortable using it. It would have been nice to use when just getting off the lake with a wet bathing suit to warm-up. Overall, everyone had a great time and would use this rental again.

One of the best VRBO homes that I have stayed in!
We rented this house for a family reunion at Christmas time. There were 20 people (14 adults and 6kids) and this was the perfect set up!!! Everything is as described in the listing. This is the first property that sleeps 20 and truly has the utensils, cookware and space to cook and serve 20!! There was plenty of towels, soap and paper towels ( I hate it when I have to go to the store to buy toilet paper because there is only 1 roll per bathroom.) The contact person was extremely responsive and helped with anything we asked. They even had a tree with lights already set up when we arrived. I don't think we even left the house for the first 2 days. The views of the lake with the mountains in the background are breathtaking. We are definitely considering returning for the summer at some point.

Beautiful home. Excellent location. Very spacious. Wonderful layout.
This is the 2nd time we've had our family reunion here. The first time was much better. While this time was still good, there were a few disappointing things. Upon arrival, the hot tub was filthy and so was one of the toilets. They sent someone to fix the hot tub immediately, we tried getting in it 24 hours later, but the chemicals were off and it was hurting our skin. The washing machines stunk to high heaven. The doors had not been left open, allowing mold to grow inside the rubber seal. We still used them and our clothes/towels did not stink at all. The contact person for the house always responded to my texts immediately and we never felt like we were being neglected. They felt so bad about these cleaning issues that they compensated us for them. All in all, it was a good stay and I highly recommend anyone interested in staying there.

Beautiful property
Great, easily accessible location. Beautiful home with large deck and great views. 2 sets of washer/dryers; 2 dishwashers; hot tub; large TVs and lots of media equipment; library; open design. Nice for a large family get together. We were very happy with our experience there!

Great location, beautiful view
This was a fantastic location for our family reunion. There were lots of activities close at hand, and the home was comfortable and spread out enough that we didn't feel cramped. The deck was fantastic, the hot tub was a favorite of the teenagers. The kitchen is large enough to handle large groups. The only down side was parking - there was enough, but a local neighborhood watch type person felt obliged to warn us unnecessarily about being noisy at night or parking on the street.

Beautiful, Charming and Wonderful!
We had 22 people, both young and old staying in this beautiful vacation home for a family reunion. We loved it so much! Clean, spacious, comfortable. We loved all of the light streaming in through the windows, and the large yard where we had several games of football. The hot tub was a fun extra. Location was great. Close enough to the marina and raspberry shakes. There is a four wheeling trail within easy access. We had a few hiccups with the freezer not working, but the manager was helpful. I would definitely recommend the property to a friend, in fact I already have. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Beautiful Views, immaculate, beautifully decorated with a well equipped kitchen.
LOVED staying here. Easy to get to, beautiful panoramic views from multiple locations around the house. Nice, new and immaculate, lots of comfortable and cozy living spaces with lots to do so you don't feel crowded There are plenty of puzzles, books and games. The kitchen had everything we needed. Double waffle maker, mixer, blender, 2 large skillets and more. Even small kitchen gadgets. Plenty of dishes and utensils. My favorite thing was the view from the sink :)
Not to mention the 2 dishwashers. We LOVED that the ATV trail was right around the corner. We went on 2 separate trails from one access. Hodges canyon was a better trail, wooded and less difficult but the guy at the atv rental said hodges canyon was the difficult ride. The other trail was more rocky and washed out but the scenery was spectacular. Both trails lead to endless riding though and spectacular scenery. Heaven for ATV enthusiasts! The weather was perfect. HIGHLY recommend staying here!
