About this house rental

A clean-lined, elegant, understated getaway with 3 bedrooms (3 California King beds and 1 sofa bed in the Living Room) with 2 bathrooms close to everything you could ever want in the desert. Private heated pool and spa, mountain adjacent with great views and plenty of places to lounge.

The house is very centrally located and there are great restaurants, trails and fun biking routes nearby to discover.

In addition to the many restaurants and the movie theater within walking distance, there are lots of great outdoor activities (golf, tennis, etc.).

In terms of sporting options in addition to our pool and spa, we have both a Bocce Court and Horseshoe Pit on the property.

This is a great location with close access to many services and a 5 minute drive to Old Town La Quinta. Kitchen was well stocked and outside area is very nice and expansive. Could use a bit more storage options and night lamps in bedrooms. But we loved our time here and will likely be back.

My husband and I stayed in this fantastic desert retreat for 5 weeks. The house is beautiful and so accommodating for family gatherings. The grocery stores are an easy walk away. The large yard and pool were amazing. We loved the view of the mountains! Skip was always accessible if we had any questions. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Property immaculate and spacious. Manager responsive to issues. Neighborhood is quiet and neighbors are friendly. Pets welcome and area is safe for pet walking. Plenty of things to do on property…and close to restaurants, shopping, theater, golf , gyms, and spas.

New grand born in LA so came to desert to get away and all be under 1 roof! It was hot but pool was cool and house was great to relax and enjoy. Skip was great with communication when needed. Great visit with family and meeting the new grand! Did I mention it was HOT!

The house was amazing! We were in the pool all day and then when it cooled down we played the horseshoes and bocci game in the yard! Would definitely go back again and the owner Skip was available for anything. Great trip with family and friends!

Our stay was incredible i traveled with my parents and sister and her husband the house was more than big for us. Everything was really clean and well furnished. The house is beautiful and close by to a few shopping centers. We definitely plan on returning in the future. The host was more than helpful. Thank you for a great experience.

We had such a fabulous trip and loved staying at this property. The house is beautiful, the yard and pool were amazing. We loved hanging out day and night at the pool and using the hot tub. The beds were all so comfortable. The location is great too! Great food and things to do all in close proximity. When we come back to Palm Springs we can’t wait to stay here again!

My family and I enjoyed our 2 week stay. The backyard is amazing with the pool, hot tub and barbecue grill. We used the large dining table for dinners and plenty of card games. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Awesome family vacation at this property with our 5-year old, 2-year old and dog. Backyard area is large and great. Pool and hot tub are both fantastic and easy to use. Kitchen is great, has everything that you need. Overall and outstanding place.

Amazing Thanksgiving Stay

We had such a wonderful time staying here and celebrating Thanksgiving and my moms 80th birthday. . There was plenty of space for our family of 6. The outdoor area is amazing with plenty for all of us to do. Lovely sitting areas, fire pit, pool, bocce ball etc. Skip was always accessible if we had questions and made our stay vey easy. We definitely hope to stay here again. It was perfect!

I can’t say enough good things about the host, Skip, or the house. In times of Covid, our bubble took a “staycation” in a house that was not our own, and it was awesome. This house was plenty big for 5 of us, with the outside being our main hang location. Skip was a pleasure to deal with from day 1. We are hoping to make this an annual vaca spot.

This home was amazing! Our group was 10 adults and we fit comfortably in the house (2 on air mattresses). The home is fresh and clean, and the outdoor area is to die for. Mountain views, hot tub, pool, bocce ball, horseshoes, fire pit - it was all incredible. The info booklet provided by the owner made using all the equipment in the house a breeze. We had the wrong door code when we arrived, but Skip was immediately responsive and helped us get in right away. He was extremely easy to communicate with and understanding of our changing travel plans. The location was close to tons of restaurants, grocery stores, and activities. We would absolutely stay here again. Thanks, Skip!

This place was JUST the getaway we needed..

I cannot say enough great things about this rental.. The house is beautiful and situated in a quiet neighborhood, but is within either walking distance or a short Uber to lots of great shopping, restaurants, etc. Coming from Canada in Jan/Feb we were THRILLED to be able to use the pool (fabulous) and hot tub, and the weather was warm enough for us to lay around and get some sun during the day and go out in the evenings. It was great - thanks Skip!!

House was spacious and worked perfectly for 7 adults and 2 children. Pool and spa were the highlight of the trip and they received a lot of use. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pots, pans and utensils. We appreciated the kitchen and laundry appliances. We played a lot of bocce. Really nice location. Liked having the mountain beside the place. The owner was proactive and responsive. Clear instructions on how to use the spa, access cushions, TV etc. Close enough to the centre of La Quinta, but plenty of grocery stores nearby. Easy access everywhere, whether to Palm Springs, Indian Wells, La Quinta, or Joshua Tree. Very close to the tennis centre at Indian Wells. We would return in a heartbeat.

Was in the area for the Ironman 70.3. Quiet neighborhood, beautiful mountain view. Perfect location for our needs and a great home base for two families to relax together. House was very clean and organized inside. Access to the garage a big plus. Great yard & pool (with pool noodles and floaties!). So nice to have eight dining room chairs so we could all sit together while eating meals and playing board games. Already thinking about when we can get back.

The pictures do not do this place justice!! We opened the front door and walked in to Shangri-La and magical getaway at the base of the beautiful hillside. Plenty of room for all of our friends and family of glorious gorgeous dining room and that backyard area is a dream! Feeling so happy and relaxed after our time thank you so much!!

Perfect destination in the desert

We love coming to the desert for all the culture and activities there's access to. This house was in the perfect location to get to all of that excitement. The house itself was cute and relaxing. The kitchen and dinning areas were the perfect amount of space and the bedrooms were plush and cozy. But we loved spending our time out by the pool and playing horeshoes and boche ball. We spent many of our nights just hanging outside bbqing. We loved our stay here!

Had the best experience staying at this house! The house was beautiful and very spacious for 10 adults. The backyard was amazing and ended up being where we spent most of our time. Skip was so helpful and accommodating! We reached out informing him that one of the house air mattresses had a hole and he brought a new one the next day! He was very easy to get a hold of and so kind! Highly recommend the house!! :)

First off, Skip was really responsive and accommodating! The house was conveniently located about 15 minutes away from the festival which was the main reason for our stay. It was clean and fit my group of 10 comfortably. Felt amazing to be in the pool and jacuzzi. Overall just a great stay. I plan to try and book this house next year! Thanks for everything Skip!

We had a great vacation! Family trip with 6 (parents, young adult children and SOs). Loved it. The location accommodated everyone’s interests (suntanning, golf, hiking, etc). Outdoor space definitely the selling point. Would have been nice to have a few kitchen ‘needs’ such as aluminum foil, stretch wrap etc, but minor issues in the grand scheme. Will be back. Host very receptive.

We stayed 10 nights over the holidays. The 4 bedrooms are all the same size (one has an attached bathroom). Although the house is only 1600 sq ft, the layout does a good job of using the space. Outside of the bedrooms, the rest of the house is mostly open. Close to lots of restaurants and 2 grocery stores (Vons and Trader Joes). Hiking is about a 10-15 min drive (multiple areas with multiple trail heads). Kind of far from downtown Palm Springs. Casinos are about 15 min drive. Walled in yard / area is large and nice including all amenities listed. Neighborhood is quiet, positioned against hill/mountain side. Overall, we were very happy with the rental.
