The property was perfect for us. A short walk to a free tram service that puts you straight in to Washington DC. Quiet and safe the apartment has everything you need. The host is also very friendly, helpful and is quick to respond to any questions or queries. We will definitely request to stay here again if we find ourselves in the area again.

This apartment was clean and convenient and easy to access, and in a great neighborhood. Street parking was easy to find along the same street (we didn’t move but once or twice all week, but only because we didn’t have much need to do so), and we took the free H-street tram (easy 5-6 minute walk; look online for real-time tram schedule updates) daily to Union Station, where we’d then catch the Big Red Tour Bus (we did the 3-day Red Loop option and it was great…it goes to all the attractions, and you learn where you can hop off and hoof it across so you don’t have to ride the whole loop, which takes a couple hours), but you could also easily catch a Metro bus, call an Uber, or just walk (if you’re in good shape). Try Manny and Olga’s pizza on H-street for dinner - it’s great (their cheese pizza was delicious). The grocery stores along the H-street tram were also convenient, and Union Station is loaded with dining options, a Walgreens, etc. Ted had a street parking pass waiting on us, and even though he lives upstairs, it is totally separate; privacy is not an issue - it was like he wasn’t even there (unless we’d have needed something), aside from some floor creaking (there is some sound transfer, but we did not find it problematic whatsoever…we slept just fine). He also keeps the apartment well-stocked, which is great, and the washer/dryer come in clutch. The central AC/heating was comfy all week. We’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. We already miss it!

This place was a great place to come "home" to after a long day of sightseeing. Ted was a wonderful communicator.

We loved our stay! Ted was very communicative and helpful. The apartment is in a nice neighborhood & close to public transportation. It’s an easy walk to H St. where you can catch the free tram to Union Station.
We chose to pay extra and park in the garage for ease. There is street parking otherwise.

The apartment is cute and has all the necessities. I do wish Ted had gotten back to me during my trip as I had a few questions about the apartment but it worked out fine. This little place needs a little more love and better communication and it could be great.

Great location and host. Had plenty of toilet paper and tips on groceries and food. Lots of cable channels too for sports.
The landlord lives upstairs so expect some noise downstairs in the ground level apt. I could hear the cats moving about in the middle of the night at times.

We really liked this apartment. The owner was very good at making sure we had everything we needed. We needed some help figuring out parking and he was super helpful. It is a short walk to free transportation and we used it every day- easy to get around without a car. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable. We cooked dinner and breakfast and the kitchen was well stocked. It was a great place to stay!

The apartment was a terrific place for our trip. It was clean and has lots of light. The full kitchen made it easy to make meals and save money and the laundry machines enabled us to take less clothes. It is located three blocks from a Tram to Union station which made logistics easy. Ted was very accommodating, thoughtful, and responsive with communication. I recommend it for your stay.

Ted was a pleasant and generous host.
The unit is well located, about a 10 minute walk to the H ST free tram stop to Union Station with access to the Metro and a great place to start walking the National Mall.
It was clean and well supplied with towels, pillows, blankets and paper products products etc.
I felt safe in the neighborhood and in the unit.
The beds were comfortable and firm.
Ted was responsive without being at all intrusive
I would certainly stay there again

We had a great stay in this property. We were delighted to find a property that accepted pets so we could bring our furry friend. Ted was very easy to work with and was responsive to any concerns/questions we had during our stay. Check in and check out processes were straightforward. The place was well equipped for cooking a meal and having a washer and dryer was also very nice! Ted left a list of some local restaurants which was helpful, one Vietnamese place called Pho 79 was also convenient and very good. I would stay here again.

This unit had everything we needed and we intend to return. The location is convenient for walkers and users of public transport. The area has a great feel-desirable neighborhood.

We really enjoyed our stay in DC. Ted, the owner was great about handling a few minor issues. There was more noise than I expected, not only from the street (which cannot be helped) but just from staying on the ground floor under the owners apartment. You could hear every step. Not a deal breaker just wasn't prepared. If you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs! The neighborhood is cute and a short walk to H street and the bus. H Street can be a little sketchy but so is a lot of DC. We used an Uber most evenings to get home just to avoid the walk from the bus stop. We always felt safe so that wasn't an issue. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Ted was very informative and property was easy to rent. Location of the property is great for visiting National Mall!
