Meg is a fantastic host and point of contact. We are SML rental veterans and the view from this home is unbelievable. The house is the cleanest we have ever stayed in. The furniture is very comfortable. The provided linens were plentious and very clean. All beds were made upon arrival. The little things that Meg did to make our stay special did not go unnoticed and made our stay extra special. Thank you, Meg!

Meg was very easy to deal with and very responsive to questions. You cannot beat the house or location.

This property was beautifully decorated. The view from the deck was stunning. The townhouse was conveniently located across from the pool, clubhouse and beach area. The marina and restaurant were also just a short walk away. We rented a pontoon and were able to use the boat dock below the property to pick up our guests. It was a great time making memories with the kids and grandkids!

Very clean and nicely decorated. One suggestion would be a king size bed in the loft room.

Loved the house, very convenient, beautiful townhouse, beautiful view. Well equipped, and the games in game room were popular. Jackie is wonderful, hands on, and replied quickly. We will rent again.

Our family had an outstanding vacation at Smith Mountain Lake this year, due in no small part to Postcard Pointe. The owner, Jackie, was easy to work with and very responsive to inquiries.
The home exceeded our expectations. We’ve stayed at other properties at Bernard’s Landing over the past several years and this is our favorite. The location on the resort was perfect. We were across the street from the swimming pool and a short walk from Bernie’s Store and the restaurant (Napoli’s on the Lake). The cove was the largest non-wake zone we’ve ever been in which made it perfect for our grandchildren. They enjoyed floating off the dock, tubing, squirt gun fights in the lake and spending time in the pool. We would be remiss if we didn’t talk about the kitchen. The modern, roomy and fully equipped kitchen was outstanding and made meal prep easy with multiple people in the kitchen. The deck on the main floor was large and spacious and had an impressive wide water view of the mountain towards the dam. The ceiling fans made this area a favorite for eating meals and relaxing after getting the grand children to bed. Bedrooms were nicely sized and the entire unit was tastefully decorated. Other small, thoughtful touches made our stay all the more enjoyable. The nightlights in each bathroom were appreciated as were the linens, paper products, dish and dishwasher soap, bathroom soap & toilet paper. All of these were small things, but when added together, made the stay that much easier and enjoyable. We intend to stay here again in future years and encourage you to do so too.

Bernard's Landing has many fine properties, but the many attributes of this townhome raise it to a higher level than most. The location is ideal for those enjoying pools (outdoor and indoor), sauna, fitness center, basketball court, and tennis & pickleball courts; in fact, this unit may be closer to the pool entrance than any other property. The view of the lake and distant mountains from the back of the townhome is at least tied for 1st place with several other units along the same lake shore. The dock is super close, just down the hill in the back. Nice calm waters in the cove for swimming. The townhome has a nice, open living area. The kitchen is much improved (I have been inside this unit in years' past, but not as the primary renter), with the recent renovations opening it up substantially and adding new appliances, fixtures, etc. The kitchen is also VERY well stocked. We used the outside grill once, which worked well. This townhome is great for accommodating up to 4 couples, as there are 4 separate bedrooms, each able to use a separate bathroom. Master bathroom is okay, but tight on counter space. A door allows you to close off the downstairs bedroom area from the rest of the downstairs (where there is a living area, with TV, foosball and shuffleboard tables, and a closed-off laundry area), which is nice for privacy. Overall, this townhouse is great and one that our family would return to again!

Really enjoyed our stay at Jackie's place. 2 Adults over 65, 3 adults in their late 30s, 2 kids (ages 6 & 9). The location was perfect, and the size and number of rooms in the condo were great for us. We used the dock down the hill when we rented a boat for two days. The kitchen was stocked with the expected dishware/utensils/etc. and the bathrooms with paper products, towels, basic toiletries, but there was much more provided than the normal rental.
We loved being able to use the grill a couple of nights and appreciated the special touches around the condo. The games and the "rec room" were really appreciated when the adults wanted a bit of quiet time.
Only drawbacks: spiderwebs in the inside corners of rooms/near the French doors, some construction/repairs happening that we weren't aware of (& Jackie didn't know of either - and apologized for, for not giving us a head's up), and some dishware/pots and pans that needed a good scrubbing.
All in all, a great week was had by all.

Spent a week at Postcard Pointe, townhouse was very clean and layout perfect for 3 couples. All 3 floors had a bedroom with full bath. Kitchen fully stocked, we cooked all meals in townhouse. Beautiful water views and sunrise each morning with our coffee. Owner was responsive to emails and answered immediately. Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing trip to Bernard’s landing.

We had an awesome week at the lake. Great neighborhood with good amenities. House was exactly as advertised. Plenty of room for 8 adults. Loved that linens, towels, soap, detergents and paper products were provided.

SML is our favorite place and we return to Bernard's Landing every time we stay. The house was great! Ready early, super clean and exactly like the pictures, our house was perfect. When the add says bring nothing they didn't lie. So many little extras that just made the week easier to enjoy and relax. Thank you to our hosts for a great time and we will definitely be back!

My husband and I throughly enjoyed our stay at PostCard Pointe. We couldn't have been happier with the property - it was absolutely immaculate and everything was as pictured. The view of the mountains and the lake from the deck was our favorite it was perfect for breakfast in the morning and watching the sunset with a glass of wine at night. Thank you for your hospitality - we certainly hope to visit again soon.

My wife and I have discovered through out the years that some vacations are not very relaxing. We would arrive home and feel like we were stressed out most of the week. We have stayed at "Postcard Point" (Bernard's Landing) 3 times in recent years and discovered that we had total relaxation the whole time, every time!! The whole family agreed with this realization. The townhouse has been updated beautifully and the location is just perfect (view and convenience). OUR ADVICE: The best way to get the full experience of SML is with a boat or jet skis. Then have fun navigating the lake to find the different eateries, shoppes, state park beach, etc.

My just spent a long weekend in this residence and had a wonderful time. It featured a fully appointed kitchen, lovely decoration, fabulous view of the lake and then the Bernard's Landing Resort offers lovely walks, a great restaurant, a beach, exercise area and much more.

This home was perfectly decorated, clean and welcoming. I appreciated the special touches from the owner. The best part of this home however is the location. Gorgeous wide water views of Smith mountain and right across the street from all of the amenities. We definitely love the option of going to the beach, swimming pools or playing tennis when we weren't on the lake. The fact that the marina is a few minutes away was perfect! We will definitely be back!

Fantastic stay at this property. We rented for graduation weekend (Ferrum College). We had the pleasure of meeting the owner who was welcoming and gracious. Property has been nicely updated and had everything we needed for the weekend. Great beds! Great linens! Great kitchen! AND a million dollar view of the lake!!! We enjoyed some great family time and wish we were there for the whole week! We could have stayed busy the entire time. We entertained family after graduation and they all could have stayed the weekend! Very roomy, lots of personal space! We will keep this one as our go to lake property!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay❤️

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Henry's place. It was clean, new furniture, very comfy mattresses and great deck space. The only downside was tight quarters in the kitchen but he mentioned a know need and desire to improve that. We would definitely rent again!!

I rented Henry's townhouse because my daughter was getting married at Bernard's Landing. I wanted something close to the wedding ceremony and reception, and something my brothers and sister all from out of state would enjoy. This Townhouse filled the bill and then some on both counts. I very much wanted my family ( some of whom can be very picky) to have a pleasant experience, and boy did they ever. The renovation and updating that Henry did is beautiful, the bedrooms are spacious, the deck is large and comfortable, and the view is to die for, the best on the lake. I especially enjoyed sitting on the deck at night and watching the boats glide by in the darkness with only a few blinking lights on. All through the weekend I kept getting compliments from my family on what a good job I had done in finding this place. Exactly what I had hoped to here. For the wedding, it could not have been more convenient. Directly across the street from the clubhouse, perfect.Thank you Henry for providing such a wonderful place for everyone to come and enjoy.

This was our third year staying a week at this property, and we were very pleased with the fresh interior decorating! New carpet (all three levels), new dining table and chairs, new living room furniture, and the large flat screen TV is now mounted above the fireplace, which creates more space and a better foot traffic pattern through the living room, and new mattresses on the beds. The rear open deck floorboards and handrailing have also been replaced. Unfortunately Mother Nature did not smile on us and it rained for most of our stay, which made us more appreciative of the club house right across the street where we made use of the outdoor, and especially the indoor pool and hot tub, and the work out equipment. We walked to the onsite Bruno's Gastro Pub for brews and live music on two different nights. We enjoyed a cook out on the rear open deck by using the supplied gas grill, and topped off the great time with homemade ice cream. The view from the deck is still one of the best at the lake (even if you mostly get to watch the clouds play hide and seek with Smith Mountain). We brought two kayaks and used them several times, even in the light rain. Our pontoon boat tied up nicely at the courtesy dock right in front of the unit, where we swam and hung out, all within close distance of the rear deck. We always make a stop by boat at Portside Bar and Grill in the "S" turns, where this year we lucked upon a live band playing while drinking our (several) buckets of Coronas, and eating our cheesburgers, Cubans, peel 'n eat shrimp, chocolate covered Key lime pie on a stick, and even a "doughnut burger". Another place we really enjoyed eating at was Jake's Place just North of the bridge. Their neon sign is pretty cool too. By land, we also ate at The Blackwater Cafe on Scruggs Road (which is always good food), which you pass on the way to Bernard's Landing. Of course, we had to stop at the bridge (Bridgewater Plaza) for gift shopping, miniature golf above the water, and some great pizza and suds at the Pizza Pub. We did make several trips to the Westlake area for supplies and groceries (very nice Kroger), which is pretty convenient when staying here. As always, the owner (Henry) was easy to work with, very friendly, and timely on all communications. We highly recommend staying here, and can't wait until we come back!

The unit is nothing like the internet presents. It is worn out, dated interiors, out dated audio and video and nearly non existent cleaning. We arrived to find a filthy and incredibly small kitchen. The fridge still had food debris, dirt and hair in it from the previous renters. Appalling!!! The accumulation of grease, dust, dirt and stench led us to believe that it has been quite some time since the unit was properly cleaned. Definitely explains the ant problem. In summary, we were uncomfortable with the cleanliness of this rental. We also felt taken advantage of. The rental price was way to high for a unit that is lacking modern update and appropriate regular cleaning.

My husband, two sons (13 & 17),one of their buddies, and I stayed this past weekend. We had a great time. The townhouse is well maintained and stocked with all you will need just like it is advertised. The boys fished, swam in the lake and in the pool, played basketball and just had a memorable time. My husband and I were able to relax, enjoy the view and have a nice dining experience at The Landing.
We love SML and have been several times over the past few years and this was our best experience.
What everyone has said about Henry, the owner, is true. He is a very good host who genuinely seems to want his guests to have the best experience. This has been an excellent find and I highly recommend this property.

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this location at Bernard's Landing in Moneta, VA.
The Landing Restaurant was our favorite place for dinner, even on a slow Monday evening. We had the BEST steak ever!! And the "sides" were great too.
This four-bedroom condo is WELL KEPT, clean, and the view is absolutely breathtaking!
Two bedrooms are on the same level (main floor) and those two share a large bathroom which we liked. Another bedroom is upstairs in the loft area (with bath), and the other one is downstairs in a quiet place (with bath), and with a great view of the lake. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants a great get-away! The owner is so nice to talk with and he'll go above and beyond to please his renters.

Thank you for letting us use your lovely home as our home base for our son's wedding at Bernard's Landing. It was the most convenient of all the accomodations at the resort as it is right across from the clubhouse (reception site) and has spectacular lake front views out the back. We were able to park our car and never use it during our stay as the wonderful Landing Restaurant was close by and the marina where we rented our boat was there also. We were able to dock it right outside our townhouse! Thank you for providing all the little amenities that made the stay easier (linens, paper products, soap). We will most definitely be back :)
