We had children and adults and everyone loved the game room. The entire place was well equipped and so much room. We loved having the lake right outside our windows.
8.0 / 10.0
The place is beautiful and we enjoyed ourselves. However, the description of th property was misleading. One of the first things we try to do ensure that that each couple has their own bathroom in their room. That wasn’t the case.
We have some visitors from the outside and we didn’t have any pesticides spray to kill them.
It wasn’t enough towels.
Overall, we had a wonderful trip and the backyard down to the lake is beautiful.

We had a great family weekend on the lake with kids, adults and grandparents. The space was perfect to keep all ages entertained and feel like we had enough space for all. I highly recommend and Ray is a perfect host! Very responsive and made our experience wonderful!

We had a great time staying at Rays house with our family ranging in age between 2 and 72. The house is great, plenty of rooms and amenities and a beautiful walk down to the water. Ray was always quick to respond to any questions and I would definitely recommend staying!

We stayed at the lake house for 7 nights with family ranging from 1-70 years of age. We had a fabulous time. We spent most of the time on the lake. We rented 2 jet skis which were so much fun, and some extra kayaks which were also a hit. The location was not busy. It felt like we had the lake to ourselves most of the time. The house was great. The kids loved the game room/ theater. There was plenty of space and sleeping areas for our big group. Thanks, Ray!

Fun Lake Home for Family & Friends
Great home with everything you need - from cooking, relaxing, hanging - nice kitchen w 2 fridges, several eating and hanging places. Nice deck and porch as well as a great basement. Dock, et is nice too - a little bit of hike to the water but not too bad. Quiet part of the lake which we loved and very clean!

Great home on the lake
We just loved staying at this home. Very peaceful and quiet. Loved that there were things to do inside when it was cold out and they had a great outside fire pit area. The owner was very communicative and pleasant. Fabulous stay!

Family Time
House is spacious and comfortable. Air hockey and ping pong competitions were a daily event for this group. 4 star rating is only because no bathroom in the house is actually wheelchair accessible. That will not be an issue for most vacationers so you can consider this home an excellent choice for family time. Owner is easily accessible by text and prompt to respond. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Family Reunion at the Lake!
10 adults ranging in age from 83 to 57 enjoyed a wonderful week at the Admiral's Club at Lake Lanier! The home was nicely appointed with multiple refrigerators/freezers/coffee stations and the kitchen had a very large island where we could gather while some did prep work and others cooked. The outdoor grills were used most days and we appreciated the wood and gas being provided. Out door space had plenty of seating on multi-levels and the fire pit, while pretty warm in July was put to use one evening on a just beautiful clear night. The dock became a late evening gathering spot as the seniors sat in chairs (we brought) while we had drinks and snacks as some used the kayaks and SUPs (we rented additional kayaks and the SUPs). The game room downstairs was so much fun with foosball/air hockey and pool all being used simultaneously - never got to pingpong much to our chagrin but maybe next time! We saw deer every day while on the lake and most days in the back yard or around the neighborhood while on our walks. There are grocery stores nearby and we made a Costco run about an hour out to stock up on groceries before we got to the house. Parking was plentiful. We ended up renting a boat and jet ski's off site just because we were worried about the weather and wanted to book closer to the week we were renting. All in all a great time at the Admirals Club and Ray was an excellent Host-very prompt in his replies and a pleasure to rent from. Thanks Ray!!

Best location on Lake Lanier
Each summer my family and I pick different lake houses to rent for a week. We were a little nervous booking so close to the July 4th weekend thinking boat traffic would be heavy. What a pleasant surprise to learn that this is the quiet part of the lake! We felt like we had the lake to ourselves whether wakeboarding/tubing with the teens or slow nightly sunset cruises with the adults. Always quiet and peaceful no matter the time on the lake.
Ray was a pleasure to work with. He was readily available to answer any questions; always responding within minutes. The house was immaculate and we had everything we could possibly need. It is an older home, but he has done a remarkable job updating it. The highlight was the downstairs game room. Once the teens were inside, we never saw them unless they needed food! They enjoyed hooking up their video games or watching action movies on the projector. As a bonus, the house has the best sound proofing of any we have been in. We never once heard the teen boys whoop and holler during their gaming sessions that often go until 3:00 AM!
The house is the perfect size for multiple families. We could spread out if needed (to get work done) or be together working on a puzzle in the sunroom or sitting on the porch with a glass of wine. Admittedly, we never turned on the TV in the den, but we did appreciate all the bedrooms having a TV for those that like to nod off to a show.
We took advantage of the two kayaks and the paddleboard that were available to use. There were also plenty of beach towels for guests to use.
Grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants are all a short ten minute drive away.
I highly recommend this property for your lake vacation. You wont be disappointed.

Good house on quiet part of Lake Lanier
We had a large group that included 4 families with teenagers through toddlers that stayed over Memorial Day. The house is just as pictured and was very clean and the owner, Ray, was very easy to work with. He was very responsive when we had an issue with an appliance.
There was plenty of room to spread out and all the games in the basement were a huge hit with the kids and parents too. The house is located on the very north end of Lake Lanier which is great because it is quiet with not a lot of boat traffic. The kids enjoyed jumping off the dock and once we cleaned up the sand by the shore they were able to play in the shallow water.
The biggest negative to the house was the lack of lake view. I enjoy a house where I can tell that I am at the lake, enjoy seeing the water and like to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings. Even from the patio of the house the water is blocked by trees. And when you are inside the house you can't see outside at all unless you are in the "poker room". There aren't any other windows on the back of the house so it is very dark inside.
There is also a severe lack of outdoor sitting. There were only a few plastic chairs around the fire pit and one collapsed when a guest tried to sit in it. And there is no seating on the dock at all. We had to drag chairs from the patio down to the dock so we had a place to sit while the kids swam. Another thing our family noted was how uncomfortable the beds are. I don't think any of us had a good night sleep while we were there.
Despite the few negatives I would recommend this house.

Lake Lanier Get Together
Four long term friends and spouses rented this house on Lake Lanier. Ray was an awesome host. He was a nice guy and very responsive to our needs. The house easily accommodated us. The dishwater, utensils, pots, pans etc were ample for our group. The two refrigerator-freezers helped, as did the washer and dryer. All electrical equipment worked well. The entertainment room was great, especially with the rain we had for a few days. Table tennis, pool table, air hockey, etc kept us busy. We rented his pontoon boat which was in great shape. Ray also provided paddle boards and kayaks. I would recommend this house for family and friend get together. It’s helpful when the owner lives nearby and can assist you as needed

Everything we could want
The house has plenty of space for multiple families. Beds, bathrooms, kitchen, and game room were delightful. We enjoyed the dock with multiple paddle boards and kayaks and rented Ray's boat which was in great condition.

A Slice of Lake Lanier Paradise
We were excited about the property when we saw pictures, but when we arrived, we were blown away. Ray's property exceeded all expectations. The house was clean, the yard was beautiful, and the the walk to the dock was just long enough to feel like an adventure. Ray is an excellent host. He was extremely accomodating without being overbearing, and provided us with everything we needed, from extra air mattresses to everything we needed to grill out in the evenings. He even mailed us the boots that we left in his garage!!
The house itself was extraordinary. We had the privelege of being there for Masters weekend, and after watching the tournament on the projector downstairs while playing pool and air hockey, I'm not sure that I could do it any other way. I can't praise this rental enough. The only hesitation I have in giving such a glowing review is that it may hurt my chances of landing this place next year!!! Thanks for a wonderful weekend Ray!

Loved every minute!
Ray is an exemplary host; the house was clean and had tons of room; the property location on Lake Lanier was dreamy. Renting the pontoon boat was a real thrill for both of our families. I highly recommend any home that Ray is listing. It's obvious that he cares deeply about making sure that you have the perfect family vacation. Also - I highly recommend hiring Ray's contact for an absolutely fabulous tea party!!!

Wonderful stay on Lake Lanier
The rental exceeded our expectations. The house is spacious and decked out with all the things to make for a fun vacation. Our family had a great time with the pool table, foosball, and air hockey tables -- all in good condition. We also enjoyed watching movies on the projection screen TV while sitting in the recliners and making S'mores in the fire pit. The house is in a great location with a private dock in a quiet cove. Ray provided a paddle board and kayak free of charge. We also rented Ray's pontoon boat and enjoyed fishing and boating. The boat is in very good condition. We enjoyed our stay so much that we wanted to book the house for a couple of weeks this summer, but sadly this gem is almost fully booked for summer. I would definitely rent this house or another rental from Ray again.

Wonderful vacation !
We had a wonderful experience at Ray’s property!
SUPER clean, very spacious, modern, well equipped house and in a gorgeous location!
Publix is about 5 min away too.
We were 5 adults, 2 teenagers and 3 kids (9, 4, 3 years old) and we all had a blast!
The fire pit 🔥 and the pontoon for fishing 🎣 were our trip’s main attractions.
Ray replied to all our questions in max 5 min! Thank you very much for that!
Book this gorgeous house without hesitation - you will not be disappointed 🙂
We will definitely be back for summer vacation!

Excellent host and wonderful house
Ray was an exemplary host -- highly responsive and thoughtful! The house had everything we could have hoped for -- from plenty of elbow room for a large family of grandparents, siblings, and grandchildren, to lake access that allowed us to fish from the dock or go out on a kayak, to a large firepit for those evening s'mores. We highly recommend this home and Ray's hospitality!

Lots of room
The home felt very spacious with lots of seating inside and out. I liked how they had towels ready on each bed. There was plenty of room for our big group with 3 levels. The kitchen was well stocked. The owner was very responsive. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and sitting around the fire in the firepit. The basement did not have 6 futons as advertised. The owner had some air mattresses with bedding delivered within hours. It would have been convenient if there would have been firewood available for the firepit and gas for the grill. There were spots on the carpet in the basement as if there was a pet accident or drink spills. Overall, it was a great place for our stay.

Better than expected!!
Everything was perfect! We came to celebrate my son’s wedding. We had 11 people staying, 9 adults and 2 children. It was such a beautiful place for is all to hang out after the wedding. We had a large kitchen to for cooling brunch and an upstairs deck with a view of the lake to enjoy it on. We fished off the dock, made S’mores by the fire pit, and had a blast in the huge game room! Our two grandchildren had lots of room to run in the beautiful back yard. There was more than enough room for us. The owner was very accommodating and great to work with! We will definitely be back!

Great Lake House!
Great house, very clean! The kitchen and baths are all updated, the layout of the house is great for families or friends.. I went with my family we rented the pontoon boat and jet ski from the owner, there was a paddle board, kayak, and rafts at the dock. We brought our fishing poles, and sat at the outdoor fireplace at night. We also played ping pong, pool, and air hockey in the beautifully finished basement! Perfect long weekend! The house is great and the owner is very accommodating!

Great place on a beautiful part of lake Lanier !
We really enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. Owner was great to work with and the place was nice and comfortable making it a fun and relaxing getaway with family and friends. The several outdoor areas were perfect for socializing during Covid - would recommend this place to stay !

Great relaxing vacation!
What a great house! We were so relieved when we arrived late at night and found an immaculately clean house. With the covid situation I was worried, and brought all my disinfecting supplies with me. Every single surface that I touched with my antibacterial wipes was already spotless and not a spec of dirt came up. The house is huge and has all the comforts you would need to have a great vacation. The lower level is awesome especially for kids. All the games and the movie screen were a hit. There's even a workout room with equipment. The top floor has 2 full baths, 1 room w/king bed, one with a queen bed and another with 2 double beds and a twin bed. Ray was very nice and responded to us in a timely manner everytime we reached out to him. We got the opportunity to rent his pontoon boat and jet skis. They were all in great condition and better prices than if you were going to rent it elsewhere. The property sits on a private cove so it's very peaceful in that part of the lake. The backyard is very large so it's a ways to the lake but it's manageable because it's a gradual decent. We would totally recommend this house to any of our friends and family.

Great lake getaway-very clean house!
Ray was a great host. Super responsive. The house and property were perfect for our needs—4 adults and 2 toddlers. Basement was great for when the weather didn’t cooperate for us to be out on the water. Only complaint is there are lots of spider webs on the dock area, and the path to the lake could use a bit of upkeep, but this didn't detract from our stay. Thanks again, Ray!

House is beautiful!
Owner is easy to work with and very prompt with his response. The hotel is well suited for up to five families. Plenty of space to spread out. Only feedback is that the media room/projector for screens & DVDs very complicated. The remote was missing and the other remote didn't have batteries.

Great Place with great service
We had a family of 12 on vacation at Lake Lanier. The house is very well set up for a lake vacation with updated kitchen, newer washer/dryer and a very nice dock. The lake area around the house is low traffic and that made boating much more pleasurable than the south lake area. Master bedroom is spacious with an expanded bathroom. Upstairs bedrooms smaller but have a variety of bed layouts. Entertainment systems are set up nicely and very current. Downstairs flexible enough to host "movie night" or put multiple younger ones on air mattresses. Boat rental is separate but available with the property and you should inquire about it when renting. What really makes it special is the VRBO owner Ray. I have never dealt with a more professional, accommodating property manager. He is truly unique and makes this property a must visit.

Wonderful Property with Everything You Need
We had family from Ohio coming to Gerogia, my myself and my mother are in Arizona, all for my father's funeral. The home was great, plenty of room for 9 adults without using any of the air mattresses or fold out couches. Looked better in person than the pictures! I was very happy with how well stocked this kitchen was, everything was clean and Ray was easy to communicate with for smaller issues. The lake access was amazing as well as all the outdoor seating. For people who would like to know the lay out there was a king size master on the ground floor (perfect for my 87 year old grandparents). 2nd floor has 3 rooms: a king room, queen room, then a room with 2 full size beds and one single with an on suite bathroom. Downstairs is the theater and bar with a king or queen room (can't remember) as well an on suite and area just outside the bedroom door with a crib. One caveat which I think the listing now explains, we had a few family members over after the service for an early dinner, there was an extra fee because it was over 20 people. Just something to note. Overall I was impressed with the property and management and would stay again if I need a larger rental near my Georgia family. Thank you!
