This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is uniquely designed with an inviting warmth, making you never want to leave, but you’re still going to want to venture out to see all that the Oneida lake region has to offer. Come, stay and enjoy the many activities as this home fits every season’s needs. Summer boating, kayaking, campfires, fishing, and we are just 3 mile from the quaint resort town of Sylvan Beach. We are 15 miles to the award winning Turning Stone Casino. Explore Turning Stone golf courses, host to PGA championships and ranked in Golf Digest's Top 50 U.S. courses. Falls brings the magnificent fall foliage, local harvest festivals, fall fishing or Syracuse University athletic games. We are 25 miles from Downtown Syracuse and the Syracuse Dome. Winter brings great ice fishing, snowmobiling and other winter sports. We are just miles away from the spectacular snowmobile mecca of the Tug Hill Plateau. Property has a great view of the water. Enjoyed the games that were supplied and the firepit. Great kitchen and front family room supplied a wonderful view of the lake through the large windows. We appreciated the second refrigerator in the garage. Overall, a great visit.

We stayed here for our son's graduation from SU. It is an amazing house!!! It was extremely clean. The house had everything we would ever need and then some. Doug, the host, was kind enough to stop by and make sure we had everything we needed and gave us great recommendations foe places to eat. We would definitely come back!

This charming and rustic waterfront property was just perfect for our 2 week stay. So much to do and peaceful when you wanted to relax and read. Close to to much but far enjoy away! The house is equipped with so much. Everything was perfect.

The cabin is absolutely gorgeous. Every amenity is accounted for and more! The location is supreme - right on the lake. We relaxed by the firepit every night roasting smores, watched the sun set and enjoyed sitting on the dock drinking our coffee in the mornings. We went kayaking, played games and bbq'd. Sylvan Beach is just a few minutes drive up the road. We brought our gandkids and they had a wonderful time. Doug was a very attentive and friendly host. We would definitely come back.

I just can't say enough about this place .... everything and I mean EVERYTHING you need for your stay is already there !!!! The owner even brought us a delicious Christmas treat ... we will definitely return and make more memories

We had an amazing and relaxing vacation in this spotless and well appointed lake house. Grocery stores and restaurants are a quick 10-15 mins away. Even on a rainy day the 8 of us were able to relax and enjoy the space without feeling like we were on top of one another. The lakefront has lots of shade and can still get sun if you want to. Really made me wish we had a boat — as there was space for one, and Oneida lake is huge! Would go back in a heartbeat!

The cottage was beautiful and very well equipped! My family and I had a wonderful time relaxing, swimming and just sitting by the lake and enjoying the beauty. Thanks so much to our host, Doug, for making this a great vacation!

Lovely lake house
This house was amazing! Everything a renter could possibly want/need. Peaceful setting. Kids had a ball swimming and kayaking. Unfortunately, no fish were caught, but that didn't diminish the fun we had. Highly recommend this house for a perfect summer getaway,

Summer Vacation
This property is fabulous! Great location, spotlessly clean and fully stocked for a very comfortable stay. The views of the lake are incredible!
Doug made check-in a breeze and was there to answer any questions we had.
We took a easy trip to Cooperstown on a rainy day. Sylvan Beach is always fun as well. We also tried Buckingham Market in Constantia if you're looking for something other than a chain grocery store - people were really nice!

Doug, the owner, is super friendly and helpful. He kept the driveway snow free and pointed out some good ice fishing spots. I can not wait to come back! Thanks for a beautiful stay

Perfection
Such a great experience! The host was very easy to contact with questions before our stay and made himself accessible during our stay if we needed him but we didn’t. Booked for next year already. The property was clean, loved the open floor plan and lots of lights and windows. Thank you for a great week!

Family vacation with little children
The house was beautiful and spotless. The owner Diug helped with anything we needed or asked him. Wonderful experience and going to Sylvan beach carnival at night was the highlight forthe little kids. The kayaks and campfires were amazing. Will definitely be back next year. Sometimes it's the little things! The furniture not only looks great but is comfortable. The towels were not only plentiful but thick and thirsty. There was not only a firepit but wood too! Not only was there one kayak there were 4! The kitchen is beautiful and came with a stocked cabinet of spices! Everything was perfect!

Companies talk these days about "exceeding expectations" but rarely achieve it. Doug's wonderful camp did just that - we were blown away. The photos don't do it justice. The beautiful great room has high ceilings and picture windows that make you feel like the lake is right in your living room. Every comfort of home was available, every nuance thought of: State of the art washer and dryer, dishwasher, not just one fridge but an extra one in the garage, granite countertops, an immense kitchen island that we all seemed to congregate around and was great for our Saturday night poker game. Most rental camps have sparsely furnished kitchens but this one had everything. Nice pots and pans, all the utensils you'd have at home, dishes and glassware galore.
But most importantly, the camp was right on the water. There was a private dock as well as a sandy bottom to enter the water in. And the water itself was clean and warm (as warm as it ever gets in CNY!) We never saw neighbors directly to the left or right so it was like having a little corner of the lake all to ourselves. There were kayaks and life preservers, a ping pong table, and various games and puzzles. Finally, Doug and his sister were the best kind of hosts -immediately responsive when you needed something, but unintrusive and welcoming.
Can't wait to book our stay next year!
