House has a lot of charm and character but was not clean and lacked general amenities. Not likely to stay there again.

Hubby, hound and I all enjoyed a great stay at this delightfully quirky home. For us the huge plus was the spacious fenced yard and various outdoor seating areas with comfy chairs and shade. Loved the private patio off the primary bedroom suite. We also enjoyed the easy walk into downtown Flagstaff to take in the local scene. Would love to come back again!

Cute home. Good access to downtown. Good for hosting the athletes for an Iowa Steak and fixings meal! A peaceful visit. Would love to do it all over again.

Spent a quick weekend to get away from the heat of the Phoenix area and celebrate my birthday. We're repeat clients, we enjoy the charm and character of the "crooked house" as we've taken to calling it. Yard is fenced but not of an appropriate height for anything but very small dogs. Couch could use replacing, but other than that a great little place to stay in Flagstaff.

Stayed for hockey camp this week for our son. We worked at home and it was great. We could take breaks outside and walk to downtown. Great fenced yard and quiet neighborhood. Would return.

The house is perfect for downtown. You can walk everywhere. The owner was very responsive and check in and out was very easy. Great place to stay.

Living room and master bedroom pleasant. Owner needs to see that all is in good working order. TV was not working, there were no tv directions for 3 remotes, neither master bath outlet nor hairdryer working (when latter plugged in to bedroom outlets), bedroom lightbulb burned.out.
We did have a good time at a great location, and owner was pleasant, but place was not ready for.prime time.

The location was great, the ammenties were good, and response time from owner exceptional. Just a heads up, the floors are very warped, but add to the character 🙂

The property description was accurate, and the property manager promptly responded to questions. The property needs a good cleaning inside and out but overall, it was a very nice place to stay.

Three of us over 70 year olds enjoyed our six night stay in this historic home. It was a great location to downtown but quiet from all of the hustle and bustle. The deck off of the patio was an especially lovely place to visit. Todd was always available if any issues popped up during our visit.

Everything was exactly as it was shown on the listing. Very clean and perfect for my family. Todd emailed us to make sure we were satisfied and told us to contact him if we needed anything. We had a great time and will stay again.

This house was perfectly located to our needs. So close to nau and lots of restaurant choices. The owner was quick to address any concerns or needs we had.

This cozy house just on the edge of downtown was perfect for our weekend trip. We could easily walk into downtown for restaurants, and it was easy to get onto the road up to SnowBowl. The house itself was comfortable, cozy and well-equipped in the kitchen as well as games & books.

This cozy getaway was the perfect home away from home. Our family spent much needed time together playing board games and relaxing after each day of sight seeing.

This is a perfect house for a family. The living/dining area is cozy and comfortable in the winter. The kids room, with bunks, beanbag chairs, and movies, is a significant bonus. The property manager is very helpful and accessible. The only downside is that the floor can be chilly overnight, at least in March, so thick socks are recommended.

It was great to be close to restaurants and the train station. Two of our party arrived by train. The central location to all the attractions was key to our choice to stay there. Our hired Grand Canyon tour guide found it easily. The place has a homey feel, like visiting grandma’s.

We stayed for a week using Flagstaff as a hub for Grand Canyon and other surrounding attractions. The house is a very easy walk to downtown where we had amazing food and did some shopping. Beds were really comfortable and the fire was great for the cold days. Washer and dryer helped us pack light and the kitchen was perfectly stocked with dishes. Thank you for making it a perfect visit!

Lots of room for my whole family and little dog! Fantastic location and felt right at home!

Owner did not bring hangers and extra blankets as requested. Property is NOT a 3bd, he has since changed the words. No closet or dresser in laundry/bun room. Lied about the condition we left it in. We did everything on the checkout list. I have lost confidence in VRBO. The pull out sofa was in horrendous condition and my son slept sideway because of it. Never would I rent this place again.

We stayed for the weekend while we toured NAU for our to-be college student. This location could only have been closer to NAU if it was actually on campus, but with that, this location was even better because if its proximity to the downtown flagstaff area (just a couple of blocks...walkable). Also, this particular weekend got some snow up there, and my kids were able to ride their sleds down the road (1990's style...the road is a very quiet one...not a lot of traffic). We slept a family a 5 super comfortably, and we could have easily fit a couple more kids. Also, this place is dog friendly, so we were able to bring our dog too. We loved it and will stay again for sure!

Love the bunk room and that it’s on a split floor plan. The kids didn’t want to leave and asked if we could move in lol!

Great location, close to downtown. This old and historic house has been nicely upgraded and is well taken care of -very cozy & comfortable! We come to Flagstaff every year for a family vacation and this has been one of our most enjoyable. Thanks to property manager Todd, fantastic communication and support!

We came for the polar express and had a great time. Perfect for our kids 7 & 8 to walk into town and grab dinner. The house is just as described and we will be back!

Another fabulous stay at Todd’s cottage. The kitchen was well equipped & we were able to prepare a lavish meal. Tons of football watched in front of the fire. Enjoyed walking through the snow flurries to shop local in downtown Flagstaff on Black Friday while the kids hit Snowbowl. Overall had an amazing stay. S’more’s in the fire pit was the perfect ending to a great trip!

We were in town with the kids to do the North Pole Experience (not the Polar Express, that happens in Williams). Hotels can be noisy and with family space can be tight. Birch House was perfect. It’s a short walk (5 minutes) to the heart of downtown Flagstaff. 30 minute drive to Williams (we did Bearizona). The accommodations were great. Space for the kids and for the adults. We were able to go out in town as well as enjoy the house. My wife even commented we should extend our stay next time. Will definitely book again.

We had a wonderful stay at this house. Walking distance to the downtown area was a huge bonus for us. The property manager answered our questions promptly, and he was very helpful. Would definitely stay gere again.

The house was clean and conveniently located clise to downtown Flagstaff; with all of the restaurants and shops. The house itself was a bit funky...old home, so understandable...kind of played with our equilibrium. Furnishings were nice, beds comfortable, kitchen well-stocked. Area was close to Grand Canyon and Sedona, and a 2 hour drive from Phoenix airport.
Wouldvrecommend the queen bedroom for a single sleeper, or someone MUCH younger than my husband and I. Bedroom is very tight and bed is against a wall, making exits to the bathroom during the night a hassle. Bunk room is HUGE, and the outdoor patio space is awesome!

It's a fun, quirky old house, very well kept, clean and tidy, and very comfortable. It has everything you'd need and is in a great location for walking out to eat and exploring downtown.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Flagstaff home. It is located in a great spot for walking around the town and seeing local sights and shops. Many hikes and day trips are also just a short drive away.
