The House, location, ski access and the mountain are first class. However, the management's outfit of the house for our stay (Paper towels, Bath Towels, soap, shampoo etc.) more appropriate for Motel Six than a rental above $35K per week. While not in and of itself impacting our stay we found management lacking, a few extra fire starters, a 99 Cent item, was beyond their concept of proper outfit. $100-200 devoted to quality
is all it would have taken to leave a better impression.

No complaints nice place.

We had a relatively large family group for this stay and the cabin was perfect for us. Location was great - very pretty and good proximity to places while still feeling remote.
Layout and quality of the cabin was also great.
I reached out to the office a few times (before, during and after the reservation) and always found them to be highly responsive and incredibly helpful.
We would definitely choose to stay here again.

House was perfect for 2 large families.

Excellent location and great access to the mountain. Spacious bedrooms with plenty of room for big groups. Pay attention to the infomration on parking: you MUST have 4wd and there really is only room for two cars. Sweetest thing: our five year old thought she lost her stuffed unicorn, Sparkles, but the cleaning crew found it and notified us after we left. We didn’t even know it was there!

Great ski in ski out experience with a large group. Trail to hill was right behind the house. Plenty of room to spread out and great communication from property manager.

Our families with 8 adults and many kids ranging from 11 to 16 found this home to be very comfortable for our ski vacation. The kitchen was well-equipped for us to make all meals each day, including using the grill. There was a lot of snow each day and the drive way was plowed a few times during our stay. The back deck was also cleared at least once.
Beds ( except for the pull-out couch mattress) were all very comfortable. Bedrooms were pretty quiet even considering all of the people we had in the house.
The kids and adults use many of the games that were in the family area.
Ski-out access was great and easy (right from the back of the house). When going to Village from White Otter Lift, stay high on the left side of White Wing then FAST to the right and cut through the trees to get on Chet's Knob as high as you can so you have enough speed to get to Swift and Ramcharger lifts.
Ski-in was not quite as easy bc Bozeman Trail and Rosebud access trails are pretty flat and require either a lot of entry speed or significant poling (even harder in powder). When skiing in from the left side of map(village), we recommend following the highlighted path on this map imgur.com/5fLT5vT

Great place in wonderful location!
We really enjoyed the place and loved the real fireplace!

Enjoyable
We really enjoyed our stay. A little frustrated that the hot tub stopped working only 2 days into our stay. The dishwasher was difficult to use. We had 15 in our group. The kids ages 16 and up had a difficult time with the sleeping arrangements as the sofa bed was really uncomfortable. We wished there were better beds for the kids. Overall a good vacation home. Thanks

someone to pick up the garbarge and now one came even though they text me saying they would take care of it. We ended up cleaning it all up ourselves.

Garbage around the property I assume left by the skiers earlier in the sky season we asked for some

Beautiful home! Great ski in/out location!
The beds were comfy. The kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of firewood for the fireplace. The ski in/out location was optimal. The Rosebud Access Bridge was either dirt or ice which was less than ideal but that’s likely due to the fact that we were there in April not at the fault of the rental property. Overall excellent accommodations!

Fantastic location
We had a very nice stay. The property could not be more convenient. Ski-in/out from the doorstep, and only a 90 second drive to the resort drop-off area when we needed to lug the kids. Made our whole trip very easy. The property management team was very responsive too.

Great Long Weekend In Big Sky!
Really enjoyed our Big Sky weekend. Had 4 families staying in the Powder Ridge cabin which filled it nicely. It’s a very nice cabin in a great location with pretty easy access to the slopes.

Good ski vacation home
All went well. The house layout works well with a large group. Only issue is that the driveway is steep for snow days but in the end manageable.

Best stay of our Quarantine Journey!
We have been traveling for weeks and this by far has been one of our favorite spots! The house was immaculate & had everything we could possibly need at our fingertips. Great layout with lots of quiet space for everyone to spread out while virtually learning and working. Fun hikes on mountains and proximity to Yellowstone was perfect. We plan to come back during Ski Season!! Can’t say enough good things about the house and property manager

Beautiful
We had 5 families and plenty of room for all of us. Very nice to have private bathrooms and TVs. Great holiday fun.
4.7
Great spot but could improve
The home was beautiful and the location was great! The check in process could improve, as our code did not work to enter the building and we had to call in. Our hot tub was locked so we could not use it the first night and had to wait for maintenance for a couple hours the next morning. Then once everyone arrived and we tried to use the pullout beds, we discovered they were covered in mouse droppings so some were forced to sleep on smaller loveseats. Other than that, we had a great time and enjoyed the fox who visited the property several times. The kitchen was well-equipped and there were plenty of towels for showers and hot tub use!
4.7
Solid Ski On/Ski Off
Great place with ideal location. Has all the amenities for long term stay and cooking meals for a large group
4.7
Perfect location!
This home has true ski in/ski out, walk outside, put your skis on, and GO! Home is beautiful, very clean, plenty of seating at table, wished for more seating around main fireplace. We loved it, and we would stay in this same house again. Plenty of firewood, we had fires every night! We can't say enough wonderful things about this home.

Review of Manitou 1 cabin
The house was very beautiful with top of the line appliances, cooking equipment, etc which we really appreciated, and everything worked. I thought it was very clean, but others in my party noticed cobwebs and mouse poop behind/under the beds, which was disappointed considering the 400.00 cleaning charge. Other than that though, it was amazing and I would stay there again!
4.7
Amazing, beautiful house. Perfect for large groups!
Plenty of space for everyone to hangout in. Plenty of places for people to sleep. Had some beautiful views from the decks around the house! Loved it:)
4.7
Fantastic, highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Montana
The surrounding area is beautiful. The houses are relatively close, but with all the trees and wonderful scenery around you hardly notice. A short (10 min or so) drive down the mountain and you have all kinds of shopping and tourist attractions, even on top of the mountain there is lots of fun stuff to do. We are already making plans to go visit again in a few years.

Awesome cabin for family reunion.
Clean, spacious, and great location.

Beautiful amenities and location, excellent service
What a wonderful trip we had! The management from Big Sky Vacation rentals were easy to work with and keep an impeccable property. They were very thorough in their communication with driving directions and have thorough instructions in the house for everything we needed. High end appliances and a fully stocked kitchen including a few basics you don't normally find at vacation rentals made our family style meals a breeze. Great location to some beautiful hiking such as Beehive Basin. We hope we get the chance to come back again to check out the winter season in Big Sky.
4.7
Beautiful House, Great Quiet Location
The house was perfect for our 2 families, a group of 9. There was plenty of room in the house to spread out - big living room area with TV, another living area downstairs with TV and game table, a large wrap around deck outside which we used morning and night (until the mosquitos ran us back inside). It is super clean, very comfortably decorated and the kitchen has everything you could ask for to make a few meals at home. The home's location conveniently allowed us to hike around the area on ski trails to enjoy the beautiful scenery as well as being close to several other trailheads for popular hikes. Highly recommend the Beehive Basin hike 6-7 miles roundtrip to an alpine lake and meadow at the top and also the Ousel Falls hike just a couple miles roundtrip. We really enjoyed the proximity of the house and Big Sky to all the area's attractions. We spent a day in Yellowstone Park, did the Lone Peak Expedition to the top of Lone Peak by chairlift, all terrain vehicle and tram where we could see for miles, rode horses, whitewater rafting and of course hiking. We loved the farmer's market which happens every Wednesday evening in Big Sky Town Center. Lots of great food and local artisans. We really enjoyed the Blue Moon Bakery for pizza our first night and Bugaboo's Cafe is the best for fresh, hearty breakfast! Our property manager came by on our first evening to welcome us and answer any questions we had and delivered a couple of packages we had sent right to our door. All in all, we all had a wonderful time in Big Sky and would definitely love to return and would also recommend this home to anyone!
