Look no further, you have found what you are looking for! Be close to everything great in Austin and relax in a stylish comfortable condo that has everything you need.
You will love the open concept Living Room! The floor-plan is a great use of space for relaxing and watching the wall mounted 50" TV on the sofa bed couch, dining in the dining area on a modern Tulip table, or cooking in the feature and appliance complete kitchen.
The bedroom features a queen bed with luxury sheets and pillow set, and has a nice window for natural light and a wall mirror on the other side. There are two bed side tables with lamps that are great for night time reading. There is a large walk in closet that is a great space for storing luggage, and also has hangers for hanging clothes, and cleaning equipment.
The bathroom is nicely finished out with tile floors, and granite tile vanity counter tops and features a shower/tub combo, toilet and sink.
The entire unit has no carpet and is floored with a great wood grain laminate or tile. This unit is on the second floor and close to the parking lot and street so its very easy to get in and out of. Guests get one reserved parking spot and there is also parking available on the street. Have a great night's sleep with a comfortable mattress!
South Lamar is an amazing location in Austin! It is very central and has 5-10 minute car rides to downtown, SXSW, ACL, Barton Springs, South Congress, everywhere you want to be in Austin, but is also tucked nicely away from the hustle and bustle in a nice residential area. There is also plenty to do nearby in South Lamar that is rapidly becoming a new hot spot.
There are quite a few Eateries - food, coffee and beer- walking distance from the condo. If you walk towards where Lamar hits Oltorf there is a CVS, a 360 Pizza, Opa Coffee and Wine Bar, Olivia's which I have heard has good brunch, and Black Sheep Lodge has burgers and beer. From the condo to Oltorf & Lamar is a half mile walk that would take ten minutes. You can also walk towards ABGB, Austin Beer Garden Brewery that has beer, pizza and sandwiches and live music. ABGB is a half mile walk that would take 9 minutes.
A quick car ride away is South Congress area that has great day shopping and a really nice welcoming nightlife with restaurants, bars and Continental Club for music. From there you could walk north across the Congress bridge if you like towards the downtown area of 5th st, 6th st, and Rainey st.
However you want to get around in Austin you are covered. There are plenty of great things to drive, bike, or walk to. There are multiple bus stops 10 to 20 minutes walk away. Taxi, uber and lyft will be great options for getting around as well. If you do rent a car, there is a reserved parking spot and also plenty of parking on the street. From Bergstrom Airport a taxi will cost between $23 and $33 depending on traffic.

We enjoyed our brief trip to Austin. This location was close to most of the locations we wanted to visit as we used Uber rather than rent a vehicle.
This is not a luxury resort, but suited our needs as we visited our granddaughter before Christmas.

Great stay would stay again if possible!

Comfortable, well located, clean and easy access. Good value. Also, very quiet place.

The space was very clean and just as advertised! The host was great with communication and gave me all the information I needed. Space is in a safe, very quiet neighborhood and a short drive to just about everywhere in Austin! Definitely recommend for anyone looking to travel to Austin!

Nice lil place to stay close to downtown Austin! In a nicer quiet area away from the partying. Did smell a bit like weed but not much the owner can do about the neighbors who partake. Great stay overall though!

First time in Austin and this was the perfect place for our weeklong stay. Great location and neighborhood. We could walk to ABGB which we did our first night for dinner. Other good places just a short drive away. Kitchen was well stocked which enabled us to make a couple meals. Comfy bed and lots of hangers in the closet! Would stay here again next time we come back.

I got a great deal on this apartment, which adds a star to my review because I do believe that you get what you pay for.
Overall, I agree with the positives in other reviews. The bed was fantastic and the sheets were super high quality. Location and parking were great. We lived in Austin for many years and we definitely think this area is best for restaurants, highway access, and avoiding traffic (which can be terrible in other parts of town). The neighbors were quiet and while someone made the building reek of weed, it seems like that can’t really be avoided anywhere these days.
However, this apartment has seen better days. The entire place had an old, stale smell to it, which also permeated the towels in the bathroom. Even my husband was bothered by this, and smells don’t typically bother him. Since no one else mentioned this and it was so pronounced during our stay, I’m wondering if it was the heating system (likely not used much) was the culprit? It also sounds like issues other people have experienced still haven’t been fixed (lights being out, dishwasher challenges), and things like walls and blinds were dirty, and furniture, walls, and dishes were chipped. I was grateful that I brought slippers to wear, as the floor was dirty when we arrived and I noticed that my slippers and my husband’s socks were dirty upon checkout. The garbage disposal also wasn’t working, but I informed the host and hopefully it will be fixed before the next guest.
Again, overall a good stay for what I paid, but due mostly to the stale smell I will likely stay elsewhere next time.

This was our 2nd time staying at this property. Great location, no issues. Tobin was quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend for folks visiting Austin.

Overall great experience. Really only at the property to sleep and get ready. Pretty quite. Safe neighborhood. Bedroom ceiling fan light was not working and a few bulbs out throughout (bathroom and closet). Suggestion to maybe put a shower cady hanging off the shower head for easy access. Had to park in street one time since the parking spot was taken. It was really no big issue though. Will definitely book again next time. Thank you.

The cons: when we arrived there was black hair on the bed sheets and in the bathroom on the bottom of the toilet. There were two fitted sheets and no flat sheet so we couldn't make up the sofabed the first night. The bathroom sink drains slowly. Two lightbulbs were out. The ceiling fan in the bedroom and one in the bathroom. I texted Tobin and he said he came down with Covid, but whether I wanted the cleaning crew to come out?! Of course I did! And they came. I may have left behind some rings, and he never texted back but I called and he answered and will check. So, it seems like he just told the crew to leave a flat sheet and change the bedroom sheets and duvet. The other issues weren't fixed, but no big deal. There was the loud sound of running water late at night, off and on. But eventually it stopped. Basically, maybe because of COVID, Tobin wasn't the best communicator by text, compared to on VRBO messaging. The pros: The cleaners put on some very nice sheets and a new duvet and left a flat sheet (although still a black hair on the sheet and on the toilet..I'm sure from a cleaner. She should wear a hairnet or tie back her hair.). The sofabed is comfy, all cushion, no springs. The apartment was well-appointed and clean otherwise. The kitchen was nice, but I couldn't get the dishwasher to turn on. Aside from the night time water sound, it was quiet. Air conditioner works really well, keep it at 70 or higher. Plenty of hangers in the closet but no set of drawers. Lamplight is good, but shades are shaky. Overall, aside from the presence of hair, slow communication, sink and lights not being fixed, I'd stay there again. It's super convenient to everything and feels safe. We did not have mosquitoes in August with 100 degree weather, but there was bug spray in the living room.

The house was nice and cozy, exactly what you need for a little get away. It was very clean and well kept. The property manager was easy to reach if anything was needed and even left a list of his favorite places to eat. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely book again.

Great location OK place
So I’ll start with the positives:
1. Great location right by S Lamar
2. Check-in process super easy
3. PlayStation (retro - tho we didn’t check if it worked or not)
Now the not so positives:
1. We enter the house and hear water running. We see it’s the WC in the toilet literally wasting a lot of water. We tried to fix it didn’t happen. Contacted owners and response wasn’t the quickest but they did come the next day (albeit a bit delayed) and fixed it.
2. The shower doesn’t work properly. Most of the water comes out the tap and not the shower head. So again a lot of water wastage
3. The soap and shampoo they provide are not good so definitely bring your own
4. We found hair on the WC and in the shower that was obviously not ours since we just checked in
5. Mosquitos in the room and loo. To their credit they do provide mosquito repellent in the drawer in the living room. Be prepared for mosquitos
Overall if location is your main and only preference def stay here.
If water wastage is a massive pet peeve for you (like yours truly) don’t stay here as it will irritate you
I’d give this a solid 3/5.

Great location and clean
Very clean and convenient location. One note-bring your own coffee. There was not a drop of coffee provided. That was an inconvenience the first day, but the only one.

Family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed comfortably. Great location and access - will look to book again on our next trip to Austin

Good location, older property but in good shape for age. Reasonable
Price for expectation. Enjoyed our time there.
Left a day early but for no reason associated with property. I believe a good rating for this property is appropriate.

Great Stay!!!
The condo was the perfect size and located in a great area! Super clean and quiet! We stayed here for ACL Fest and had no problem getting to Zilker Park both walking and riding Lime scooters! Overall, they stay was great!

Austin amazing
Perfect spot for my introductory trip to this wonderful city. Property fulfilled all my desires. High point is super comfy bed. As many of you travelers know. It’s sometimes difficult to get quality rest in unfamiliar surroundings. Not so here—a/c system provided white noise, and that bed gave me restful nights.

Nice condo
Cute place to stay in Austin. Bed was super comfy. Love the neighborhood! Definitely recommend renting a car or using a ride share service to get around.

Great Place, Great Neighborhood
This one bedroom apartment had everything we needed. I think our favorite part is that it is well decorated without having too much in it. Just the right amount to feel nicely done without stuff being everywhere ( this has been an issue at other places we have stayed) Perfectly clean, super comfortable bed, quiet and the perfect location to come and go anywhere in the city!

Great Condo in South Lamar
This condo is in the fun/hip South Lamar neighborhood of Austin. It is clean, comfortable and close to everything. The WiFi, cable, and HVAC work well. I love the artwork. The street is quiet and safe for walking, even after dark. I would stay here again.

The apartment was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Overall the place was clean, with the exception of the bathroom, which looked like it had barely been cleaned at all before our arrival. The host did offer to send the cleaners in on our behalf, and dropped off a brand new hairdryer for us when we had issues with the other one. The wifi did not work very well for most of our stay. Again, the host was helpful and suggested a different network than the one listed in the guest instructions. It worked slightly better, but just be aware if you rely on wifi you may need to download your maps before arriving here. I'm still a little miffed at the international data I had to pay for because the wifi wasn't working, otherwise I'd give it 5 stars. There is a full kitchen, but not much in the way of kitchen essentials if you want to make any actual meals there. There doesn't appear to be any recycling on the property either, which is probably not the host's fault but as a citizen of the earth I was super bummed by this. There is parking on the property, which was great because we had a rental car. The apartment is in a nice neighborhood, and we enjoyed walking to ABGB on Halloween for some beers without having to worry about driving home.Despite the issues, the host tried their best to make our stay more comfortable. Overall it was alright!

Great spot!
The apartment was perfect for what we needed. It's in a great quiet location. We have friends and family who live in the same area which made meeting up with everyone so easy. It's in a super cute and peaceful area. The apartment was very comfortable for our stay and liked that we had designated parking. There are so many great restaurants in the area - - Snooze, Mattie's Restaurant, Thai Fresh, Enoteca, Amy's Ice Cream, Matt's El Rancho and so much more. We used to live in Austin for 2 1/2 years and this location was awesome! Tobin was great about keeping in contact with us. We truly appreciate the check ups.

Quiet, comfortable and conveniently located - would stay here again for sure!!
As other guests have written, the condo was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Both the regular bed and the pullout couch one were very comfortable. The a/c worked well, which was a huge blessing in the record breaking temps.
When we crossed over the train tracks right before we turned onto Thornton, I was a little worried that we would hear the trains - not an issue at all.
We booked it for UT graduation and we were able to easily avoid the horrible traffic with a short walk to a nearby bus stop. The express bus took us directly to UT without having to transfer. Super convenient and a whole lot less than renting a car or using Uber. Walking distance to ACBG for some tasty pizza and beer. All in all, a great place that we would definitely return to.

Great Condo!
This place was perfect for my recent stay in Austin. Very nice, quiet, residential area, but close to all that South Lamar has to offer re entertainment/restaurants. Bed was very comfortable. Really liked the dedicated parking for my car and ease of access. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Lovely apartment in great location
We had a great 3 night stay in this centrally located apartment. A few minutes from some rad spots includes ABGB, Opa, Jo’s, Torchys Tacos, etc. Very comfortable bed (softest sheets) and nice living room for relaxing.

The condo was great. Location was great. We enjoyed the ABGB within walking distance. It's listed as a 2 bedroom, but it's actually one. We had everything we needed and Tobin was very attentive. We'd def stay again!

Nice place and owner
Tobin was immediately helpful when we needed him. The condo was very clean and in nice condition. It was well-supplied, even as we used the kitchen to make Pizza, spaghetti and quiche during our 4 days there.

Clean, cozy near St Congress Avenue
Stayed for a few nights, the places really clean and everything looked just like advertised. Tobin checked in to see if everything was ok and if we needed something. Location is great, there is an HEB nearby and South Congress Avenue is a short ride away. Really recommend staying here.
