About this house rental
Our 2,200-square-foot home is waiting for you to enjoy! We are centrally located by Paulina Pool, tennis courts, and creek as well as Big Meadow #13 green. We are on a private cul-de-sac that is safe and quiet. We are a short bike ride or walk through the meadow where you can feed the horses and enjoy the spectacular mountain views. The Glaze Meadow facilities and spa is a ten-minute bike ride and just minutes by car. You can also stay at home and BBQ while taking in the view of Black Butte from the large deck. In the winter, enjoy a cozy fire while you watch the snow fall out the big windows or drive 12 minutes to ski, snowboard or sled. We also have recently added an 85 inch TV so watching sporting events and movies can be enjoyed by everyone.
Our home has three bedrooms, plus a big loft. The upstairs has a large, private master suite with a king bed, and a newly remodeled bathroom. In addition, there is a loft with four single beds. On the main floor, we have two bedrooms (both with queen beds) and a large remodeled bathroom with heated floors. We have recently remodeled the kitchen to include an open concept to the family and dining room. In addition, we have a new HVAC system that includes air conditioning. The kitchen is fully equipped. We have a large dining room table and island that are perfect for family dinners or game playing. Our family room is cozy (but big enough for the whole group) with an 85-inch smart TV, wood stove, and plenty of places to snuggle in and watch a movie or sporting event.

Black Butte is one of our favorite places in the world and our goal is to provide you with the perfect setting for a vacation. We provide bikes, tennis rackets, sleds, games, and other sporting equipment. We have a proven track record with previous renters and are an affordable option for your next vacation.

*It is important to note that starting in January, 2024, Black Butte Ranch has changed the way they collect recreation fees. They used to collect a charge of $9.00 per person per day (over the age of 7). They are now putting this responsibility on the owner of the home. We will now collect this fee on this site. It is a flat percentage based on total of rental instead of a per person fee. We have no control over this fee and is required for all renters. You will see it under your bill of "property fee".

We have been coming for years and really enjoyed our stay at this property. Everything was clean and very spacious for our family. The owners were great communicators and the house had everything we needed/expected.

We will be back! The kitchen, deck and big screen tv were our favorite features. The only negatives are lack of hand railing for the stairs from master bedroom to downstairs and the master bathroom toilet is so low it seems like it is made for small children. Otherwise this house is a 10!

Very comfortable house with plenty of space for indoor family activities, and great sleeping arrangements for kids. You really do provide everything that we might need in the kitchen. Really like the split heating system with separate temperature and fan controls in different rooms.
Great location with pool, tennis court and beautiful Paulina Springs natural area close by. Great opportunity to share nearby Nature Heritage trails with kids.

Liked the central location, but would've liked a bit more privacy.
The kitchen and bathroom were clean and nice, but the carpet should be pulled or replaced. It felt very dirty.
The description says it sleeps 10. We found 10 people to be very crowded.
We were super happy to see all the bikes, towels and full kitchen.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Rob and Katie's lovely place in Black Butte. We found the home to be clean, spacious, and comfortable. The large kitchen and bathrooms have been recently updated. We loved spending time on the large deck with comfortable seating. It was a quick walk to Paulina Springs and pool. Our 4 year old grandson especially enjoyed our walks to see the horses in Big Meadow. Having the bicycles available for us to use was a bonus. We would definitely recommend Rob and Katie's place!

We stayed over Christmas with my parents, 2 siblings and my 4 kids. The house was perfect for a group of this size. The kitchen had everything we could have hoped for and the home was very comfortable. Plenty of room for family activity- puzzles, board games and relaxing. Highly recommend this home!

Our family had a wonderful vacation in Katie and Rob’s beautiful home! Their recent remodel created a comfortable but cozy atmosphere that allowed us to host a dinner for 12 utilizing the gorgeous huge new island.
The kids had a ball riding the house bikes scooters, etc. In the quiet cul-de-sac and the Glaze Meadow pool and walking paths were just minutes away! Perfect location!

We had a wonderful stay at this home in Black Butte Ranch. Friend and family enjoyed the space and location to all the facilities in the ranch. The house was supplied with everything we needed. Owner was great and very responsive to our communications. We will defiantly be booking this house again in the future.

We've been renting at BBR for decades and this house had the best stocked kitchen, kitchen supplies and kitchen storage (extra frigs in garage) of all! Furthermore, we really appreciated the the fleet of bikes, fans for all the rooms, and the large deck which accommodated our extended family . Our family of 5 (two parents, three young adults) was quite comfortable, with some of us working each day and others riding to the pools and pickle courts. We thought this was a great house. THANKS!

We've been coming to BBR for 38 years (at least, that's how old I am, and we started before then!) this is one of our favorite homes! No issues at all, and great communication. Easy check in, and clearly detailed instructions made for a breeze of a stay!

We had a great 2 week visit to Black Butte! The house location was ideal for us: quiet and close to Paulina Pool and bike trails. The house set-up was good for our group, as well. Enough space for everyone to have their own room and bed, and spread out as desired. We spent most of our time at the house on the porch, which was easy to block off for the dog, and lots of comfortable furniture. The beds and linens were comfortable. Enough bikes to choose from for our family of 4, but some work better than others. If you are picky about your bikes, you may want to bring your own. We had a few issues with the house during our stay, which weren't ideal, but the owners were very responsive, helpful and apologetic.

My ladies hiking group stayed at Golf Home 280 for two nights in Sept. while hiking in Central OR. Very nice, comfortable property. Only a few housekeeping drawbacks which I will discuss with owner.

My family met for a reunion with kids aged 4-10 and three generations of adults...and everyone had a great time! The location on a cul-de-sac is fabulous for kids and the numerous bikes worked for everyone in our group. Good communication leading up to the rental and an easy week. Kids loved the kitchen nook. Black Butte in the summer is such a great vacation. We are all looking forward to next summer already.

We had an awesome time at the Black Butte Home. It is so roomy, yet cozy! The minute you walk through the door, you feel welcome! The master bedroom bed is so comfy I wanted to stay in it all day! The dining room is beautiful, we enjoyed a wonderful steak dinner with candlelight. It is very peaceful and relaxing in the home. The big tub is wonderful for relaxing also. The kitchen had everything you could want in it. The home is just a super place to get away to. Very comfortable for 3 couples, but would easily hold more. The owner is literally a phone call away if there is any issues. With Sisters very near, shopping is great! And Sisters Coffee Company, the best! Great photo opportunities all around, but the head waters of the Metolious is just up the road, again, very beautiful. It's just a great place!

Seven of our family members, ages 12 to 76, just returned from eight very enjoyable days at this comfortable, clean and well maintained home. It is conveniently located located near Paulina Springs and Pool. We made good use of the large deck and barbeque. The beds are comfortable and the quiet neighborhood conducive to a good night's sleep.. The house includes a two car garage which provided a safe place to store the eight bikes that we brought with us. We enjoyed some of the many amenities that are available at Black Butte Ranch. We made good use of the extensive network of walking/cycling paths. We also swam, walked the nature trail across the meadow, bird watched, played tennis, took a paddle board class, played Frisbee golf and took a horseback ride. The ridinng trail switch-backed up to the top of the "Knob", several hundred feet high, which features great views of the snow clad Three Sisters mountains, Broken Top, and Glaze Meadows. One afternoon we visited nearby Sisters for shopping and dinner. The following day we drove to Camp Sherman, a few miles from the ranch, near the headwaters of the scenic Metolius River.
We found that the listing photos and description accurately depict the property. The owners are friendly and easy to deal with. We would not hesitate to recommend this home to a friend or relative.

Our 2 families had a wonderful time at BB. The house had everything and more to use thoughout the house. Bedrooms were big and quiet. The loft area, although open to the great room, allowed the teens to sleep in.
Paulina pool is just a short walk and the central location of the house was very convenient to everything on the ranch.
We've stayed in several homes at the ranch and found this one to be our favorite.

We just returned from a wonderful weekend of fun at this amazing home! Our group consisted of four adults, and five children. There was PLENTY of room for everyone. This home is so warm and cozy. It was extremely clean, and packed full of everything we needed. Plenty of towels, bedding, paper products, kitchen supplies, etc. Since we were there in the winter, we enjoyed cozy nights building a fire in the wood stove. There was fire wood, and everything we needed to keep our fire going. We enjoyed going into sisters (just a five minute drive), and walking around all of the adorable little shops. We will absolutely be returning in the summer for some fun in the sun. I would 100% recommend this home!

Our family had a great stay at Black Butte. It has the quiet needed for a weekend get-away combined with the amenities needed to feel relaxed. The kids wandered around the house in awe- they loved the twin beds in the loft and the quaint eating nook in the house. They were delighted by the horses and deer, too. We had a great time and wished we could stay longer. In the short time we were there we hiked the headwaters of the Metolious, swam at the community center and explored Sisters.

I have stayed at the Barker's Black Butte home several times; both in the summer and winter. It is in a great, central location that has easy access to pools, tennis courts, the meadow and biking trails. I've been there with two families and there was plenty of room for all of us. The upstairs is very private and quiet if you need to have some quiet time. The loft was a great place for my grandchildren to sleep and play. The kitchen has everything you need and it was so nice not to have to haul everything over to prepare a nice meal. I have stayed at multiple properties on the ranch and this one is a great value for the money. The owners were very pleasant and organized.

I have stayed here on numerous occasions and LOVE this house. It is clean, comfortable, and close to all of the things my friends and I love to do - bike, swim, play tennis, ski, etc. I would recommend this vacation spot to anyone!

My family and I spent a week at the Barker's Black Butte home. GREAT home! As soon as we walked in the door we felt relaxed! Very child friendly home. Our evenings were spent just handing out in the comfortable, large family room. We are looking forward to returning this winter.
