About this cottage rental
This popular unit is always in demand and well received. It’s quaint and cozy.
About this listing"NON SMOKERS ONLY!!! Key West"-style cottage just across the street from the Intracoastal in Jensen Beach. Jensen Beach was the Pineapple capital of America until just a few decades ago. Nowadays it is a capital of culture; a relaxed place with a slightly funky vibe.
The cottage is nice and airy, located right across the street from the Intracoastal Waterway. It has a comfortable bed, kitchenette with plenty of cabinet space, full size refrigerator and stove. There is also a quiet patio to take morning coffee, barbecue or just to lay and bask in the balmy river breezes. Jensen Beach was the pineapple capital of the America a few decades ago now it is one of Floridas best kept secrets with lovely beaches and right on the intracoastal waterways. It is a cool town with a slightly funky flair. The cottage is located in walking distance to the cool funky downtown, Indian River Park with a Children’s museum and pier into the river. Dolphin Bar & Shrimp house (live music - real Florida feeling), the Sailing Club and school as well as Marina with boat rental. Less than 10 mins drive to the beach. Guests have access to a private patio with patio furnishings and a barbecue grill. Long term guests provide own fuel for grill. I may be present or I am always a phone call away.
As is the case in most of Florida a car is nice to have but is not necessary to have one for your whole stay because a small grocery store is 2 minutes away and a large one (Publix) is a longer walk but an easy bike ride away. The beach, too, is an easy bike ride and downtown with restaurants and cafes is a ten minute walk. Guests have access to a private patio with patio furnishings and a barbecue grill. Long term guests provide own fuel for grill.
All we ask is that you treat our property with respect. We love this VRBO concept and we would like it to thrive and it is a concept based on mutual respect.
The whole property is non-smoking and we do take that seriously as so many people are allergic to cigarette smoke. Since cigarette smoke remediation is such a difficult and costly procedure, if we find that the non-smoking rule has not been adhered to, we reserve the right to withhold your deposit.

The property was clean and comfortable. Fishing was great at a short distance from the cottage. We will definitely stay there again.

pineapple perfection
So if you are looking for a small unit with lots of personality and local to all the great stuff in Jensen Beach this is a great place to stay! The cottage was updated, clean and neat with everything you need for a couple of nights or in our case almost a couple of months! Full kitchen and bath fully stocked and in great condition, plenty of storage too! Perfectly working air conditioning to keep you cool in the warm Florida Sun. The out door dining and choices of two grilling areas was awesome too! We loved working with the owner and would recommend him and his properties to all of our friends. Be sure to WALK daily to the fresh produce and fish market (all on the same block) and enjoy the beauty of Indian River Park, the mansion and of course Jammin on Jensen every Thursday night!
