Nice and quiet place to relax

The property location is amazing. Right by the water, not far from ocean city. Rooms are big, kitchen was spacious. The only complaint I have is no provision of basic cleaning supplies. There was 1/4 roll of kitchen towel, not all bathrooms had hand washing soap, there were 1/4 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom with only one bathroom with a half a spare roll. We had to go out and buy kitchen towel, TP and dishwashing liquid. Dishwashing liquid was almost empty, not enough extra trash bags were provided. We knew that we had to bring our own linens but even kitchen towel and TP? That’s a little too much to ask for. And if that is the case, it should be mentioned in the listing.

We brought two boats and there was enough room for both and close to the boat ramp. Lots of beds too.

This is our third or fourth stay on this property. We love the location! And we really appreciated the new deck. There were seven in our party and there was plenty of room. And we really enjoy catching crabs in the canal.

We held a large family reunion over the 4th of July holiday. We rented this house for our son and his family. It worked out very well for our group - was as advertised and very convenient. Kids enjoyed fishing and being on the water. Host promptly responded to last minute questions - because I misplaced my instructions.

We stayed for two nights with family and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The house is spacious with many bathrooms. There is a private dock where you can fish and catch crabs.
Location is close to Ocean City without dealing with the local traffic and crowded streets. Definitely looking forward coming back again in the future!

The house is very accurate to the pictures very nice and clean inside good amount of space and being right on the River is awesome. It's literally like 10 minutes from the beach in the main strip so that's good but it's far enough away she wear if you want to relax you can. The house is a little outdated as far as appliances but that's no big deal and there is a extensive cleaning checkout list which I use other rental properties places all the time I've never seen a list like that most places just have a cleaner come in after you leave so you only have to do general house keeping. but we did most of the things on the list and it wasn't that bad.

It was a nice area to bring our boat. Definitely loved that aspect of the property. Backyard was a nice size and we had friends over one afternoon for a washers tournament and boating. Enjoyed watching the different boats come and go through the canal.
For the price of the rental, I was surprised by the lack of updating. Some plumbing fixtures are barely hanging on. Carpet needs to be replaced, but most of all the deck needs to be redone. EVERYONE was terrified to get a splinter.
Beds are all covered in plastic. Noisy and hot.
We had rainy days so we were indoors and wanted to watch the olympics. Living room furniture is extremely uncomfortable and the tv was maybe 48 inches. If we had sunny weather all week, we probably wouldn’t have minded so much but it was another inconvenience.
There was good water pressure for showers and the air conditioning worked very well. The third floor loft was warmer, but we brought a large fan because we knew it would be and the owner already had 2 large fans up there. So it wasn’t terribly warm up there.
I think with some updating it could be worth the rental price.

Family Get Away
We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. The house was big enough for us all. It was equipped with everything we needed. We loved the deck and the neighbors came out and dined with us for dinner and we danced on the 4th of July. We really did enjoy our stay we wanted to stay longer but it was already booked. We were gonna increase the stay. We felt at home. The owner was very helpful and polite we will definitely look to stay there again we come down often.

Fantastic Stay
Staying here was a fantastic experience. Better than we thought. Roomier and a great size.

Fabulous location! Attentive owner!
I loved Summer Breeze! It was spacious enough for our group of 6 adults! The park across the canal provided more privacy and tranquil scenery. We saw herons and osprey. The beautiful St. Martin River was within view of the dining room. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. The friendly and helpful neighbors loaned us crab pots and we enjoyed steaming and eating the freshly caught crabs! Great grill & deck! When there was a problem with the dryer, the owner took care of it within our stay. Such a pleasure renting this house!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Summer Breeze. We docked our boat at the house and used it every day and night. The home is well equipped and comfortable and the location cannot be beat. Sitting on the back deck is very peaceful and relaxing listening to the sounds of the seagulls and cicadas while watching the occasional boat go by. There are no houses across the canal from the home, so your view is the water and woods making it private and tranquil. It's perfect. Even the neighbors were very friendly and cordial, offering advice on places to go and even providing us fresh, local grown produce as a gift. The kitchen is very well equipped with every gadget, pot, and pan you can imagine and is great for cooking (including a dishwasher). The neighborhood is very quiet, well maintained and nice to stroll and safe enough for kids to ride bikes or scooters. Crabs were plentiful right from the backyard. Ocean City's boardwalk is a 20-25 minutes away. Assateague Island State Park is a quick 25 minute drive. We took our boat to Assateague every day, which was a blast and fun to watch wild horses strolling the shores! The backyard has a nice strip of grass for a football or baseball catch on the edge of the water. The Florida room is loaded with sliding glass doors and a ceiling fan making it a great space to unwind, read and enjoy the surroundings. There's a propane grill on the back patio great for grilling up any fish you catch. Lastly, the owner was a pleasure to deal with and very quick to respond. I highly recommend this home.

This home is clean and well-kept. The kitchen is adequately stocked. The refrigerator was on the fritz when we got there but was replaced with a brand new one once we informed the owner about it. There is plenty of room for everyone and it is larger than it appears in the photos. We especially enjoyed mornings and evenings on the back deck. Fishing on the canal is not great as there is a lot of boat traffic but there were crabs in the pots everyday even though we didn't cook any up. The closest pool, which is only one street over, is very large and clean and not crowded. Ocean Pines is only a 10-20 minute drive to grocery stores, liquor stores, convenience stores, and all that Ocean CIty has to offer without all the crowds. The owner of this property is very easy to deal with. Great place -- highly recommended.
