About this house rental
This classic old Florida home is in the perfect location, at the intersection of the ICW, Loxahatchee River, and Jupiter inlet. This comfortable/private West Indies-style home is located on a large saltwater bay, teeming with sea life. You might even have a close encounter with our treasured local giants, the gentle manatee! We are separated from the Intracoastal by beautiful Sawfish Bay and a large tree-filled island with no homes to interrupt the serenity of the view. Enjoy fishing off the dock, kayaking, and paddle-boarding in the bay surrounded by the splendors of nature. You are a mere 100 yards (with deep water access) to the merger of the Intracoastal Waterway, Jupiter inlet, and the Loxahatchee River.
Minutes from this natural paradise you will find every creature comfort you might want. Enjoy the pristine sands of beautiful Jupiter beach or bike on the 15-mile bicycle path along the ocean, reveling in the ever-changing moods of the Atlantic with the bikes we provide. Your tropical getaway is surrounded by great restaurants, music venues, and shopping (you can bike and even kayak/paddleboard/boat to some waterfront restaurants!).
To maximize your enjoyment of our beautiful surroundings we furnish kayaks, paddleboards, and bicycles. You can spend your days enjoying the pool and your evenings relaxing in the hot tub surrounded by banana trees. The pool is heated, heating is $25 per day. Please let us know if you would like the pool heater turned on and it will be added to your stay.
You can fish off the dock or bring your boat (up to 55') to enjoy the great ocean fishing.
Boat launches are close by, and your trailer can be safely parked in the driveway (depending on number of cars - send us a message with trailer and car info). You can clean your catch at the bayside cleaning sink and cook it on the large gas grill, or in the fire pit. Relax with the family playing ping-pong on the patio or a basketball game in the front yard. The kitchen is spacious, fully equipped, and perfect for cooking big meals as a family. The water system is Reverse Osmosis, there is a washer/dryer unit and fast WIFI throughout the house. There are TVs in all three bedrooms including a 60" smart 3D TV, w/ Blu-ray DVD, flat-screen in the living room.
The open-plan living room and dining rooms open onto a spacious porch with a full view of the bay. There is a large heated salt/saline pool, a private jacuzzi just steps from the porch. Charters, boating, fishing, free kayaking, paddle boarding, diving, and much more to do!

Between the pool and the pier we spend most of our time outside relaxing and fishing and was truly an outdoor paradise. Inside was a bit tired and could have used a few updates but were able to get past that with such a great outdoor space. Great place for family’s or friends to gather for vacation.

Key was not available when we arrived. Had to call agent and wait for a key after driving 4 hours.
Property listing showed a hot tub. It never worked despite several attempts by owner to fix it.
There weren’t any check in/out or welcome pack describing house features local attractions.
Fire alarm chirping required another call to agent and owner to find offending smoke detector.

Great house and location for fishing trip. Was able to keep boat at the dock and short trip to Jupiter Inlet. House has everything you need for a great family or friends trip

Really enjoyed staying at this property. It’s located in a great little neighborhood, which is very convenient to everything In Jupiter, but at the same time it’s on the north side of a protected peninsula that borders the intra-coastal, so it’s very safe and quiet. The house itself, although older, is very comfortable and clean. It’s also bigger than it looks from the outside and is very usable. The grounds: especially the backyard, and pool are fantastic. There are tons of coconut palms, a hammock, outdoor lighting, a Jacuzzi, and lots of outdoor seating. The best part is the dock. It’s pretty big; the view & the fishing are great; and it’s protected from the waves/boat wakes by Sawfish island. it’s also directly across the intracoastal from Burt Reynolds boat ramp, and less than 10 minutes to the inlet.
I would definitely recommend this property.

We enjoyed the home and all it had to offer. We had our 4 older sons and 2 dogs and had plenty of space. Having our boat docked in sight was awesome. Great quiet neighborhood.

Property is as described with an old Florida vibe in quiet neighborhood. David is an easy going gentleman, and check-in was straight forward.
Great location to restaurants, beaches (e.g., Carlin Park, Dubois, etc.), and grocery stores. We used the back screened porch often for its proximity to the pool and view of Sawfish Bay.
Property is very clean and well stocked (e.g., plates, glasses, cookware, spices, paper towels, and plenty of towels, nice washer & dryer, etc.). Includes many amenities: pool over looking Sawfish Bay, nice dock, hot tub, paddle boards, kayaks, bikes, hammock, picnic table, and fire pit with wood to burn.
It is a solid vacation rental with three bedrooms & 2 full baths. For five people the ranch layout was spacious and to be honest we were outside the vast majority of our waking hours.
We recommend the property. You'll have fun and make some memories.

We had an amazing stay. Everything about the property is PERFECT! The house is beautiful and so spacious. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub everyday and the views of the bay were so refreshing. We were also able to keep our boat at the house which was an extra bonus. The location is ideal as grocery stores and restaurants are all nearby. We will definitely be back!

Spring Break 2022
We were very pleased with our stay. We wanted a quiet family get away and it was perfect. My teenage children loved the independence of taking off in the kayak, on the paddle board or bikes. There is a cute coffee shop very close that my girls enjoyed biking to. There were five bikes and plenty of kayaks for our family of five. My husband and I had long runs and nice bike rides. I was concerned before we arrived about riding on such busy roads but there are sidewalks everywhere. The back yard view of the inlet was beautiful. The screened in porch allowed us to read outside without mosquitos. Although we didn’t have dinners at the home because there are so many restaurants to enjoy, the kitchen is supplied with everything you would need. My girls did make a cake and muffins and we had coffee each morning. The master bedroom and bathroom is separated completely from the other two guest rooms, which was nice. The neighbors were all very sweet and the neighborhood is very quiet. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner who couldn’t have been nicer. We definitely recommend staying here.

The property listing is spot on. David has something for everyone. With access to the river with kayaks and paddle boards to bike rides around the neighborhood. If you need something it's there!

On the water paradise
What a cozy and comfy little piece of paradise. Palm framed view to the river with a heated pool and kayaks on a private dock. Spa tub outdoors in banana palm grove. Close to shops, restaurants and beaches. Dog friendly and filled with homey touches and curios. Excellently maintained with lots of towels and linens - space for several to stay with open plan screened porch. (* note. Heater in pool doesn’t really heat pool if temp goes below 50° - rare here but we experienced the chill) spa tub however is hot! Garden is beautiful and the dock allows direct access to the river! Owners were great to liaise with and made the booking and stay easy! Five stars!

Location, location, location!
Amelia and her dad are wonderful hosts! They bent over backwards to accommodate our every desire. David even bought a new (used but very nice) kayak for our use and helped the littles with their fishing poles. He even provided them smaller hooks. We truly had a wonderful time and I regret that it's taken me so long to write this review. :-) There were a couple slight listing mistakes, but I'm sure Amelia has them fixed by now because she is on top of everything. The home is a bit older and for that reason we had some plumbing issues, but again, David and Amelia went above and beyond to get those rectified. All in all we had a really great time and we will definitely consider renting this home again.

Keep Searching
Check-in supposed to be at 4pm, but the owner was still in house at 530pm "finishing up and the cleaning crew just left."
House was filthy: dishes in the cabinet were greasy and had fresh food on them; rooms had layer of dust/dirt; trash and large amounts of dirt under beds; eating booth/bench greasy and had food on it; house did not seem swept or mopped. **owner offered to have cleaning crew "reclean" the next day.
Pool was filthy! Owner stated the pool pump had broken and was replaced that day. The water was dark green with sediment (dirt, debris). The walls and floor had algae growing. I have owned a pool here in south Florida. This level of growth takes a while to develop. The "poolman" arrived unannounced several days in a row. He randomly threw large amounts of chemicals in the pool, never testing the water or scooping debris. I asked if he was testing the pool pH to determine needed chemicals or if he was going to vacuum the large amounts of dirt and debris from the pool. He said "that's not going to help." It was Thursday of the stay and the owner stated the pool is "swimmable." It was still hazy water and had not been scooped or vaccuumed. The water chemical level was never tested.
Kayaks and other water equipment not safe! We took a kayak out with life jackets and paddles. The boat hull filled with water and flipped. We grabbed our life jackets, but they were filling with water and sinking. The safety ropes/handles broke when we grabbed them. When we were able to swim and beach the kayak, the bottom was full of holes. **notified the owner and he retrieved the equipment. Offered to replace the kayak for further use.
The "neighbors" are more than unkind. We had permission to bring my dog. Next door had a yapping dog. My dog barked loud 2 barks and the lady next door shouted "tell your dog to shutup." This happened on more than one occasion. While walking back from the beached kayak, a man from the neighborhood yelled at his dogs (OFF LEASH) "go getem" and sent his dogs after me. He told me to "f**k off" and called me a b*tch. Told me that illegal renters are not welcome. His off leash dogs daily made their way to the rental property. I told the homeowner this man sent his 2 large dogs after us. The owner stated we are to "keep the peace to prevent police involvement".

We enjoyed our stay here over the holiday. The adirondack chairs in the dock are a wonderful place for morning coffee or evening drinks. Convenient location and relaxing porch poolside.

Jupiter is cool
123 Elsa was perfectly located both on the water and within the city of Jupiter. Dinner was either a nice kayak to fish where the boys named their “honey hole”, a quick drive to the grocery store or a family walk to our new favorite donut shop.
The screened in porch and pool were our favorite features of the property but the large kitchen, comfortable and private bedrooms and family space made it easy for our family to both relax and connect.

Needs TLC!!!!
First, will start with the positives- location is amazing, backyard/pool area is incredible, the owner was prompt with communication and worked quickly to address some issues that came up with the house. The view is incredible, and we loved being able to access paddle boards to use in the bay. Really appreciated the owner allowing the use of those and additionally life jackets for our children.
Now to the negatives- The house was FILTHY upon arrival. I’m not sure if they cleaned from one renter to the next. They had made the beds and put out new towels, but there were crumbs and food stains everywhere. It felt disgusting to walk around barefoot or put our food in the refrigerator. The walls, doors, windows, bathroom counters, etc were covered in fingerprints and food stains.
I would say much of the furniture and especially all the rugs are just way past needing replacing. The ladder off the boat dock has some broken rungs, which made it hard to get up to the dock.
The house has GREAT potential and again, the outside areas are really lovely. But we were extremely frustrated and disappointed at the lack of cleanliness of the home.
