Our family of six (4 teenagers) stayed at this beautifully maintained historic home. The primary purpose of our trip to Pasadena was for the 2017 Rose Parade. but we did so much more during our week-long stay. The home is exactly as advertised (except not all the rooms are included in the pictures). The home is fully updated and clean The kitchen is spacious and well-stocked. The owners had the house ready for our arrival (including a bed set up in the family room). Beds are all comfortable (especially those with memory foam mattresses). Although the owners were away during our visit, they kept in good communication with us through email and had a very friendly neighbor serve as our "hostess." All details of the stay were adequately arranged and we had no incidents. My only criticism (and I'm digging deep) is that the cleaning ability of the kitchen dishwasher is questionable. We ended up washing items by hand. House has a lovely backyard and patio with built-in grill and pool, however the weather was too cold during our stay to enjoy these ammenities. The neighborhood is quiet and well-maintained. We enjoyed neighborhood walks. We ate at several local family-friendly restaurants (two that come to mind are Pinocchios and La Grande Orange Cafe) and all meals were excellent. While we travelled primarily for the Rose Parade, there is so much more to do in the Pasadena area. We spent day trips to Universal Studios, Disneyland, Ronald Reagan Library/Muesem, and downtown Hollywood. LA has so much to offer that we could have easily spent another week. We would not think twice about staying in this home again if our travels bring us back to Pasadena.
