As seen in Coastal Living Magazine, this is a quintessential, beachfront home on desirable Bean Point with with direct access to Bean Point Beach. You will enjoy panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico from your two balconies. The house has a charming, cottage-style decor with an open floor plan. The living level has a full size, modern kitchen, a dining area, a half bath and a great room that opens up to a generous balcony for enjoying the breath-taking sunsets over the ocean. Halcyon, which means calm, peaceful, and tranquil, is exactly how you will feel during your stay at my house.

The property is nicely located near Bean Point and Pine Street on the north end of the island. The gorgeous views of the Gulf are unobstructed and plenty of balcony access to enjoy them all day long. The living space is well placed and functional for many people. Public beach access is adjacent, which wasn't too intrusive. Just a few issues with people using the driveway to unload and load for their beach day. The amenities were well stocked-found everything we needed. Can’t wait to come back.

Halcyon was as good as advertised. By far the best vrbo we have rented. Bean point is special if u want to avoid resorts. Only disappointing part of the week was a meal at Sandbar. AMI is outstanding choice for vacation!

This property was such a great vacation home. It was clean, on the beach and stocked with pretty much anything we could need for the beach. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about our stay at this luxurious home, thank you!

Was a perfect place for a large family. Adjacent to the beach with a 3-minute walk to the water. Less than 15 minutes to Bean point. The property was clean and spacious with a nice “beachy” vibe. Appliances were new and easy to use, with lots of beach accessories available for use that were stored in the garage. We are already looking at coming back next year.

The word Halcyon means denoting a period of time in the past that was idyllically happy and peaceful. This is how we felt the entire time we were at this property. The views of the Gulf of Mexico were stunning. The property is well maintained, clean, and the property manager was friendly and accommodating. This was our first stay at this property, but hopefully it wont be our last. There is nothing I could change about this property to make it any better. The layout of the home was perfect for entertaining our guests. This is the perfect beach getaway. We highly recommend staying at this property with friends and family.

We loved our entire stay and hope to stay again. House is very clean, well appointed, and perfectly situated. The manager is accommodating and responsive. Other reviewers discussed the downstairs twin beds - my teen daughter slept there and loved the room and space. It is nice for teens to be down there and have their own little suite.

Of course this house is absolutely beautiful, functional and if you want a great beach vacation this is the place. All the previous reviews expressed are true. However when I search for houses there is a few things I really want to know. Beds- all were good except the bunk beds were torture chambers. Not enough blankets. Pillows were nice. The house looked clean but was neglected. I found hair in 2/3 of the shower drains. Gross. I found a very old grape (I think) in the kitchen on the floor. Banisters were dirty/sticky. There were no cleaning products to use myself. Water pressure was great. Immediately upon arrival @4 I found what I thought was a roach on the floor in the kitchen, the host returned my response to the “palmetto bug” two hours later. However after that message all texts/calls were answered promptly. We could not adjust the a/c in the house. The walk to the beach was not as far as it looked online. All the umbrellas for the beach were broken and once we figured out how to set up the camping tent that was a life saver. There is a walking path to the beach directly next to the house. That was a surprise! It took a few days to get used to seeing people walk so closely to the windows. It sounded like they were in the house if the slider was open. But if your used to neighbors I’m sure you wouldnt mind this as much. The weekends are much busier but minimal garbage on the beach! Wildlife was great! Close to shops and ice cream!

This was our first trip to AMI. We had such a lovely vacation and the best part was staying at this beautiful property. Kelly, the homeowner, is incredibly nice, responsive and accommodating! The property was clean, beautiful and exactly as the pictures and descriptions online depict. The house was very well stocked with everything we needed! We loved being so close to the beach! We will definitely be reaching back out to book a stay at this home in the very near future!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was just perfect, the location easy walking distance to shops, restaurants...So comfortable - the beds, the porch, the living room. The kitchen was well equipped.
The Host was easily accessible and super helpful. Our flight was delayed and arriving very late. She went to house to leave an outside light on for us. So appreciated!
We look forward to returning!

The Halcyon home is gorgeous…and the views from 2nd and 3rd floor balconies are breathtaking. Anna Marie Island is such a quaint beach town that we visit each year. Staying at Kelly’s home made this year’s trip so memorable. She pays attention to detail in her decor, the beds are comfy, and she provides bikes, beach umbrellas, and lots of other amenities!
Kelly is gracious and friendly and communicates quickly. We loved our stay!

This place is even better than the pics can tell! When I walked in and got the first glimpses of the ocean through the glass doors and windows, I got tears in my eyes. It is so overwhelmingly stunningly beautiful 😍
It's like you never leave the ocean cause even when you are in the house, you can always see the ocean 💙🌴 The house is clean and well stocked. The days at the house and ocean are relaxing, quite, peaceful and restful. We greatly enjoyed our stay!!

This was our first trip to Anna Maria Island and is now our favorite place. The house was gorgeous! Kelly, the host, is exceptional. She was quick to respond to any questions we had and supplied so many essentials to make our stay so much easier. She even had an air fryer! We enjoyed the beach items too. The water was beautiful! This home is everything you see in the photos - adorable, quaint, comfortable. The view is stunning... I wish we could have stayed longer. So relaxing! And AMI is a treat. It is a hike to the beach, so just be prepared for that. The host is amazing, exceptionally helpful and responsive.

Communication was great, respond time was quick and we were able to decide last minute on our trip THANKS! The house is very well equipped, plenty of sand toys for our little ones & chairs etc. The view was spectacular, we saw rabbits almost every morning and a turtle. The house is beautiful, extremely cozy and the décor is so beachy refreshing. (Pretty neat door knobs, lol) Perfect path to the beach. The beach is clean and sandy perfect! We definitely will be booking next year perfect way to disconnect!

Honestly can’t recommend staying at this beautiful property enough! The views are stunning, beach is gorgeous, the house is impeccable and Kelly is an absolute pleasure. We stayed for 5 nights and definitely wished we had booked it for 7. We’ll be back!

What an incredible home! The home has the BEST location for getting the most out of your beach stay! The house is beautifully decorated, bright and super comfy. We did a girls trip and enjoyed everything the home has to offer. The owner was delightful and helpful! The cleaning crew forgot to leave trash bags and the owner dropped thwm off the next morning after apologizing profusely. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

Our family had wonderful and magical stay this year at the Halcyon House for our return to Anna Maria over spring break. It was the perfect property for us, and it was our best visit to Anna Maria Island yet.
Kelly, the owner, is fantastic and clearly a very thoughtful and detail oriented owner who understands this special property and wants her guests to enjoy its magic. We were in great communication and she was able to provide some useful recommendations for us for the island.
The house is in excellent condition, the location is spectacular, and every space in the house is useful and livable. For example, we spent a lot of time on both outdoor decks, and relaxing on the the upstairs deck was especially serene to help disconnect and relax.
The walk to the beach is about three minutes which made it easy to come in and out as needed, for example spending the hotter parts of the day indoors in the late afternoon, to then easily return for sunset.
The house is special -- it's intentionally not cold and ultra- modern, but instead is like a warm hug, well suited to let your guard down and enjoy an island vacation. It's in excellent condition and deeply captures a beach-house feel which is really what you're looking for.
We found the configuration worked really well for us, with the whole family upstairs in the three bedrooms. I also felt really safe with our two-year old, especially since the railings on the decks were sturdy and well designed.

This was my sixth February as a guest at Halcyon House, and I can't imagine a more comfortable or better located place to spend four magical weeks. Kelly is exceptionally responsive and clearly committed to taking great care of her guests. The neighborhood is quiet and the views are as spectacular as described. Anna Maria has become an increasingly popular destination for good reason, which has meant an increase in traffic and busier restaurants. These can be managed with some forethought, and sticking closer to home when home is Halcyon House is no hardship.

The beach wasn’t crowded and we took walks daily. The horizon was wide and distant, the sky ever changing. The wind changed greatly. Many birds and shells. Well organized and equipped home, tasteful interior. Elegant, simple.

One of our greatest joys is our family. We carve out a few days to be together, laugh and share memories every year. The Halcyon House was an exquisite place for us to enjoy the beauty of Anna Marie. The house was a reflection of the setting, beautifully designed and every detail has been well thought out for our enjoyment. From the gourmet kitchen to the new bikes - the house was perfect.

Beautiful property in a great location! Everything you need is in the house. Owner wonderful and very accessible. Very cute decor. Bed mattresses need to be updated in all rooms which resulted in back pain for several guests. House also smells musty which flared allergies.

We couldn't wish for a better vacation. This place is wonderful and it feels like you are living a beach fairy tale while you are there!!! Fishing, swimming, quality time with the family and unforgetable sunsets! We will be back!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful with just amazing views. I loved sitting on the deck when it was nice out and when it rained. It was an easy walk down a sandy path from the house to a fabulous sandy beach. The water was incredibly clear and warm. We had a manatee swim by and could see dophins swimming further out. The host was wonderful, letting us check in a little early after a long day traveling and reaching out to check in on us and making sure things were going well. We would absolutley go back again.

Memorable Family Vacation
My husband and I wanted to rent a property close to the beach for our young family, and this did NOT disappoint! Not only was it just as it appeared online, it was beautifully decorated and perfectly stocked with anything we could need. With three kids ranging from 6 months to 5 years old, it was important to us to have spaces for them that were quiet and private in the house for naps after longs days at the beach. The amenities listed were accurate (especially all the baby gear!) which made what we needed to bring much less. Thank you Kelly for allowing our family enjoy your home. This will definitely be a place we would like to return to!

Loved it!
We spent a week at Halcyon House with our 3 daughters. Overall the house is great - it is beautiful, beach front and close to lots of great dining options.
We were a little surprised at how far back it was from the beach, but they did provide a wagon to get beach chairs/toys down to the sand which was a great perk.
For reasons out of the homeowners control, my daughters were unable to sleep in the upstairs bedroom. The downstairs bunk area where they slept does not have A/C - just a standing unit in the bunk space. Because of this, it does get hot down there (especially in the bathroom).
Overall, it was a really, really great trip and I hope it will work out for us to return to the Halcyon House again. Kelly the owner was very helpful and gave lots of advice and suggestions for things.
