We enjoyed staying at the property, it was quiet and located close to a beach access point. The backyard is large and nice, however note that as of June 2024 the yard is NOT fenced in. Some of the older reviews mention a fenced in yard for pets, which is no longer the case.

I wish the back yard was fenced in. It also needs to be maintained better. Low Dead limbs hanging over stepping stones so you had to walk around. Shrubs were over grown. Just needs to have a lawn company get the back yard in shape. The dishwasher door wouldn’t close unless you lifted the counter top a little bit to get it to close.

With little ones who needed frequent trips back to the house, the location was perfect for us! The house is older and doesn’t have a lot of updates but it’s great for kids and exactly what we needed. Jekyll is always a magical place for me!

This home is in a great location. We really enjoyed how close it was to the beach. As a family that enjoys cooking when renting houses, I recommend adding new kitchen pots and pans. They are very old, and we had a hard time with what was available for us to use. We tried communicating with the host during our stay and even after to let them know about a few issues and never received a response. The house could really use a deep clean but overall we enjoyed the location and made the best of our stay.

We absolutely loved the very nice cottage. It had everything we needed and more. The beds and living room furniture were so comfortable. The location could not have been more perfect. Just a very short walk to the beach which was practically desserted everytime we went. Beautiful yard and a very quiet street.

This cottage exceeded our expectations. The fenced in backyard was such a bonus with the dogs and the garage was just what we needed to keep our bikes in overnight. Also, the cottage has easy access to the beach and bike paths....all in all, the cottage was wonderful.

Their is lots of room and the cottage is in a great location with beach access . It’s always clean and has nice fenced in yard wit two patios. June 2021 Stay
We loved Very Nice cottage. We really enjoyed our vacation. It is a very nice house and a great location. We did have problems with the water pressure and the Air conditioner. The air conditioner did not cool the house all week and on our last day it was so hot we had to make a emergency call for a AC guy. He came out but the AC was still not fixed. The water pressure is so low that two people cannot show at the same time in the bathrooms. I just wanted these problems pointed out. We still Love this Cottage!

This rental house is in a great location and just a minute or two from the beach walkover. The property is very private and is fenced in which was nice for my dogs. The house is very comfortable and has lots of room. The master has a large closet and dressing area. The kitchen could use an update but was fully functional. I wish one of the two patios had been screened in. Also, there wasn't an area to wash sand off our feet after coming back from the beach. I saw a water hose laying in the front yard but couldn't find a hookup for it. Overall, I would rent this cottage again due to the great location!

This home is our favorite place to stay while visiting Jekyll. We love the quiet peaceful street,the friendly neighbors, the beautiful Live Oaks, and azaleas in the Spring. The house is very roomy with plenty of storage space . Very comfortable.

Great location, house fit to all our family with pets
We stayed in this house for the second time and will come back again, hopefully not one time. It fits our needs perfectly and the location is just perfect too - even with high tides you may still start walking from your steps towards the town center. I also noticed little improvements and new things, that makes it feel that property is constantly supervised and maintained. The little downside was the odor in a house just when we arrived. It might be that the other dog's urine didn't clean well. Overall house would benefit of a more thorough cleaning - of baseboards, some doors, venting grids and floors. Everything else is quite fine. House has everything that you need, except linen, soap and towels, which is quite all right to have your own.

we like the peaceful quiet neighborhood in which this home is located. Neighbors are older full time residents and are very friendly. The fenced-in private yard is lovely with views of Live Oaks, azaleas,and camellias. Location is great with beach access a few houses down.
