We had an amazing week at the River House. Our family included teens and adults. Thanks to information from our host we were able to easily get into Paris, visit the D-Day beaches, Chateau Gaillard and other nearby sites. Wouldn’t hesitate to book this delightful home again.

Our family of 11 had such a wonderful time at this beautiful gîte. The very amenable host has paid a lot of attention to detail and provided a good deal of helpful advice and information about the local area. There is so much to do locally but when not busy the house and its location allows for fun days and relaxation.
Thank you so much Jordan for allowing us to use your lovely holiday home.

We were a family party of 13 ranging from 1 to 70 celebrating various birthdays and being together after Covid.
The whole property is beautiful and the configuration worked well for us - especially all the en- suite bathrooms and the large dining kitchen.
The locals were very friendly on our daily walks along the river and the fresh croissants every morning were an added bonus.
Jordan kept us informed every step of the way answering my numerous questions and checking that we had arrived safely.
Would highly recommend Riverside House

A beautiful house that has been lovingly restored to provide an excellent facility that can accommodate up to 16 people. We loved the rustic French feel but all the necessary 'mod cons' to make if comfortable. We loved the pool and the ability to enjoy al-fresco dining.

The property & house are lovely. The farmhouse is roomy & comfortable. There was plenty of room and privacy for our large group. The kitchen is small but adequate. Our grandchildren loved the swing & spent hours in the pool. Our stay was absolutely delightful!

Riverside house is a beautiful house, situated at a good location in Normandy. This part of the Seine-valley is really wonderful. We stayed with a group of 7, we all liked the house and the surroundings a lot. The beaches of Normandy, Paris, even Eurodisney are within travel distance. We followed the footsteps of Monet, Giverny is close by as well. Warmly recommended.

We booked Riverside house a year in advance for our multi-family Christmas vacation from the U.S. The setting and accommodations were perfect for 3 families with 10 people. 7 bedrooms were beautifully renovated and 6.5 baths provided more than adequate space to feel roomy and private. The beds and linens were new and provided extremely comfortable sleep. Our families enjoyed the common areas by the fire box in the family room, large kitchen table for meals, and the backyard and fire pit for more family time together. The kids loved the swing and yard for playing and we all enjoyed the hikes along the Seine. The additional dining room off the courtyard made for a special candlelit Christmas dinner for ten people! Jordan was always available and accommodating. He made our visit special by having a Christmas tree set up for our arrival, provided a fantastic list of resources for: butcher, seafood, restaurants, towns to visit, etc. The freshly baked and delivered breads every morning (including Christmas morning) was just amazing. I would highly recommend Riverside House for anyone looking to be out in the country, close to nature, farms, small villages, and away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We made amazing memories for our families and children here and it will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you Jordan! Best wishes to you and your family.

Riverside House is located in perfect French countryside on the banks of the Seine. The local village of Muids is postcard perfect. Within an easy drive of Paris or the Normandy coast our experience of Riverside delivered so much more than we could have hoped for. Calvados by the fire of an evening following a leisurely exploration of local villages was a perfect way to experience this gorgeous part of the country. We highly recommend a stay, however brief, at Riverside House.

Our extended family of 12 made full use of this lovely property both inside and out. The proximity to both large and small towns made this an ideal spot from which to explore upper Normandy. We visited the D-Day Beaches, Giverny and the beautiful white cliffs of Étretat as well as Les Andelys and Lyons la Forêt closer to Muids. We also enjoyed a lovely walk along the Seine which is just at the bottom of Riverside House's back yard. The property was well outfitted and Jordan, the owner, was extremely responsive to our needs. We would visit again in a heartbeat.

My kids, husband and I had a wonderful week. Jordan was very responsive and speaks fluent English. The house is beautiful, very tastefully decorated, modern and new, full of light and beautiful colors. Every corner is clean and airy, with everything you could need. The pool is gorgeous, large and brand new. The garden is enormous, full of fruit trees and rose bushes, with the Seine just at its edge. You can go for a walk/run on the river’s edge, past corn and wheat fields. The house is located in a very charming, quiet and typically French village. I have never felt quite so comfortable in a place that was not my own. Thanks so much, we hope to return soon.
