Picturesque ocean view beach cottage on a quiet walk street. Approximately 150 yards from the broad sandy beach of Santa Monica Bay stretching from Malibu to Palos Verdes. Short walk to downtown Manhattan Beach restaurants, shops, bars, beach, bike path, pier and more.

Single Family home features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, den (sunroom) with queen pull out couch, kitchen, and front and back patios. Master Bedroom has ensuite bath and walk-in closet. 2nd bedroom features two twin beds plus a pull-out trundle. Updated kitchen has custom appliances and granite counters. Completely new bathrooms - master bath with large walk-in shower and dual showers; second bathroom with tub and shower. Rear patio with barbecue, dining table, lounge area, and outdoor shower to rinse off beach sand.

The house has both front (walk street) and rear (alley) entries. Private garage provides washer, dryer and secured parking. 2 flat screen TVs, FIOS HDTV, Cable & Wi-Fi. Beach chairs, boogie boards and coolers for your use. Pack and play, stroller and toys available.

Everything about this beach cottage was perfect. So close to the beach, fully equipped, gorgeous views, clean bed rooms, wonderful outdoor seating area. The hosts were wonderful and communicative. We could not recommend this rental enough. It is an incredibly special place!

DRONE USERS! this property is tucked into the only place that you can fly your drone without special permission from the FAA from Santa Monica to Redondo. The home is beautiful and the view from the porch to the beach was amazing. Even the private patio offered the sounds of the ocean at night. 2 Living, 2 bed, 2 bath. Open kitchen to the living room creating a nice open space. Opening the sliding doors grants a cool passthrough breeze of fresh ocean air sufficient to cool the house on its own. The bed was comfortable and I had no issues with my back after a night sleep, which is rare when traveling for this 400lb man. The location cannot be beat. 5 minutes walk to the beach, 20 minute walk to Hermosa beach shopping and food. Great local restaurants. Access instructions were clear and easy. They offer a lot of beach toys for use (chairs, boards, etc.,) all appliances work, absolutely nothing on the property that I needed assistance with. Even so, the host was very communicative and checked in to make sure our stay was perfect. If you want a quiet but active stay with lots to do, but in a laid back area, I highly recommend this house.

Everything about this house was delightful. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. There are four inviting areas to relax with family or friends; two indoors and two outside. The location is perfect. It's so nice to walk into town and not deal with parking. The decor and furnishings are tasteful, the kitchen is fabulous and the shower, with the rainforest head is awesome. We have already rebooked.

We enjoyed staying at Jane’s beach cottage, we are MB locals that moved to Miami and went home for the holidays. Janes cottage is in the perfect location. Very convenient to downtown and the ocean. Her home was fully stocked with everything your home would have from cooking supplies to plenty of towels, toys ect We will be back

Great location with views and 2 entrances one, through private garage to ground floor no steps! Owners immediately available to fix small concern. Comfortable bed and everything we needed for our cooking pleasure was provided in the kitchen.

From the moment I walked in the door, I felt like I was home. The check in process was flawless and the home had everything I could have ever needed. We baked Thanksgiving pies and cooked to our hearts delight. The walk to the grocery store and downtown Manhattan is so pleasant. I have several friends who live within walking distance and so I was able to invite them over for morning coffee, evening sunsets and sleepovers. The view of the ocean and the strand was perfect from the writing desk and from the deck. The beds were so comfortable and the water pressure in the showers was beyond amazing. We met a few neighbors and felt right at home. It was hard to leave such a wonderful slice of heaven. In fact, on my last day, I reached out to Jane to extend my stay and I was graciously granted my wish. The whole family was super to work with and I will be back again. Thank you Kristen, Jane and Terry for the best beach stay!!❤️

We feel especially thankful to have stayed at this incredible place. It was clean, bright, and nicely decorated. The inner courtyard space between the garage and home is very comfortable for outdoor dining and relaxing, as is the patio in front. We loved Manhattan Beach and spent many days walking beside the ocean. The town is lovely as well. Many thanks to the owner for sharing this gem!

Our daughter and grand kids visited us there ( they live only 10 minutes away) and we loved all the toys and equipment the house had. Plus it is a perfect distance to The Strand and the town. Just a pleasant, easy stay with amazing views of the sunset over the ocean. It is a very “easy” house to live in. There is nothing it lacks.

Cute beach cottage, very close to the beach and amazing views from the front patio on a walk street. House has everything needed to enjoy the beach - toys, chairs, bikes, etc. Owners are very responsive if any issues ever arise. We always love returning to this house.

What a wonderful stay we had a Beach Cottage! The house is perfect with everything you need whether at home, biking around town, on the strand, or hanging at the beach, it's all there! This was our second time staying at the property and it is still an amazing experience. The communication with the homeowners is excellent. The location is perfect. We did not rent a car as we walked everywhere. We do not leave MB barely at all and we spend a bunch of time on the front porch looking at the ocean. We look forward to our next visit.

My husband and I loved the Beach Cottage and its surroundings. Our son who came down from SF for the week to be with us was able to surf and work so we shared a lovely week together. The location of the house is very convenient. Stores are within walking distance. The view from the cottage is MAGNIFIQUE! We did not have any direct contact with the management (Kristen) but only with the owners; Jane was very helpful and quick to answer to all my queries. The Beach Cottage is really nice, is in a great location and had everything we needed. It’s comfortable and well equipped. Excellent communication and service by the host. Located in a quieter area with a short walk to the beach and local restaurants and stores. It’s convenient to LAX but far enough to avoid any aircraft noise. We decided to try this trip without a rental car (with the plan to rent one after a few days if needed). Uber worked out very well all over the city for our tourist trips. We would certainly return in future to enjoy the Beach Cottage and a relaxing stay in the local area. Highly recommend!

We had such an awesome time at the Beach House. Close to everything in Manhattan Beach, and the house exactly matched the description. Every amenity we could think of was available, and having access to beach supplies was great for our kids. Would love to stay again sometime soon! PS. The view from the front patio is just undescribable - especially at night.

Can not speak highly enough

Wow! We had an absolutely fantastic time. The house is well equiped with everything you could possibly need - in the kitchen, in the bathrooms, for the beach, for a bbq. Our family of four (parents, 3 yo, 1 yo) stayed for three weeks and had the best time. Every morning, we’d walk to town for a coffee then take the kids to the park (highly recommend Valley Park in Hermosa Beach) while one of us worked. The afternoons were spent down on the beach (using the perfect beach wagon to haul the boogie boards, chairs, towels, sand toys). We didn’t have a car but used the bikes in the garage when needed or had home delivery from Costco, Target and the local grocery and often took the beach wagon to the grocery store. Jane and Terry, the owners, are lovely and very responsive and considerate. Kristen, the property manager, was incredibly helpful and quick to respond as well. We would definitely stay again!
