Good quality f&f, nice postion with views across fields (Hut 1). Great for a couple of nights.
Maybe a microwave rather than a wood burning stove

Wonderful location, very cosy hut, comfortable bed, very clean, good bathroom, plenty of space. Outside are is great with fire pit bbq and deck chairs. The view is beautiful and it’s so peacefully, great place for chilling.
Need to sort out hot water in the shower as it was sporadic so made showering very difficult.

Nice location, quiet and private. Lovely views. Very peaceful. Manager was available to fix any issues we had! Different to other places we usually stay at. Very pleasantly surprised.
All good.

Location was good, the hut was compact but had everything for a short stay.
The weather but this is England.

Well equipped shepherds hut. Parking directly outside your hut and location that is not overlooked. Instant hot water was appreciated. Linen was lovely and clean. Wonderfully quiet, with horses in the paddock adjacent you felt miles away from civilisation. I would recommend.
Came on a stormy day so had a bit of unfortunate luck with uncontrollable thunderbug’s all in my clothes, hair and bedding. Nothing that the establishment can do about this but a fly swat would be handy if made available for guests. Hut got quite warm but we brought an electric fan which we used however once lights were out we opened the window and fell asleep to a cool breeze.

The hut was rustic but beautiful and had everything we needed for a short stay. The shower was wonderful and we enjoyed cooking on the fire pit and eating outside in the evening, looking at the stars. The views were just lovely and we enjoyed cycling along the paths that ran behind the hut to the sea. The owners left us to get on with it but we had all the information we needed in the book in the hut and we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. A romantic and beautiful getaway.

Very peaceful and relaxing. Great nature views. No traffic. Simple and clean. Everything at our fingertips. Very comfortable bed
Cannot think of anything.

Great little hut in a beautiful location. Very peaceful and thoughtfully decorated
Could have done with a toaster or little microwave or oven to heat up food. There was a gas hob.

Staying in a Shepherds hut of course in a beautiful setting

Privacy, quiet, access by train + everything was as lovely and generous as the photos.
Country Life magazines don't match the mentality of shepherds hut renters. Fortunately there were good books too.

Location, somewhere different, cleanliness, horses and views.
nothing.

Location is excellent. So quiet and peaceful.

There was everything that was needed in a compact space. the bed was very comfortable and enjoyed the washing facilities, agility required for getting into/out of bathtub. Hosts not seen, however all instructions and local info are provided. Lovely for a secluded break ( hut1) and pony neighbours to greet you with accompanying bird friends.
Liked everything, town and station are in walking distance approximately 20 minutes

Gorgeous location, very well equipped, very clean and comfortable! wonderful views, quiet and easy to check in/out!

Very comfortable, secluded and quirky. Cozy and warm at night after a good soak in the bath after having sat outside next to a fire. Deer and rabbits in the fields in the morning over breakfast. Great location to access south downs and coast.
Nothing really. Binoculars in our hut seemed to be broken/misaligned but unsure if they were just decorative anyway. In no way detracted from our trip!

A very peaceful location and a nice place to stay for a couple of nights.
I found it difficult to find initially (blame that on the sat-nav not recognising the road / address / postcode).

The property was lovely and warm, the bath is amazing and the decor is nice. It was beautifully peaceful and spotlessly clean.
I would have liked to know that coffee, tea and milk were available and a little loaf of bread and some butter or a little cake would have been nice.

This place is perfect; great location, luxury bed, cute inside and everything you need.

Was so suprised at how secluded and private it was we woke up and felt so refreshed everyday of our stay. The sunrise and watching the moon and stars infront of the fire made it. There was a bit of confusion to start with the key but wasnt the hosts fault she was ever so friendly and couldnt have done more for us. The added extras of the board games and old books were a proper treat. Worth every penny of our stay would definately stay again.
