About this house rental

Superb oceanfront second row home located in a great setting. Oceanside deck now features a screened in area for all weather enjoyment. Spectacular views.

Beach access is just out your front door with a sandy beach 24x7. The home is just 150 yards from the beach club. It is just a two minute walk to the new Food Court and Ocean View Sports Bar, as well as the Sand Bar and the swimming pools.

Accommodations: 4 large bedrooms. Three King beds and 3 bathrooms upstairs. Downstairs, there is another bedroom with a king bad and a 1/2 bath.

The downstairs has a separate den with a Pool/Air Hockey table, comfortable seating area with a sofa, and a TV. There is also a table for playing games and there are a variety of games, puzzles, and books for guests use.

Guests enjoy sitting on the deck at sunrise, enjoying meals on the deck, and keeping an eye on family members trekking to the beach. There is a gas grill and dining table on the deck. In the evenings, the deck is perfect for stargazing and enjoying the sounds of the ocean.

Fripp Island is 3 1/2 miles long; paved bicycle, skating or jogging trails traverse the island. Wildlife is abundant. Deer, raccoons, herons, egrets, ospreys, and alligators are common sights. Loggerhead turtles lay many nests on Fripp Island each year. Nature centers on Fripp and nearby Hunting Island provide hours of enjoyable activities on the beaches, in the forests or marshes. Once you arrive, park the car and rent a golf cart for island transportation.

The island has a lovely tennis facility located inland directly behind the house - only about a four minute walk. The Racquet Club offers 'Stroke of the Day' and 'Daily Drills' clinics each day as well as children's clinics and private or semi-private instruction.

There are 2 golf courses located on Fripp. Ocean Creek Golf Course designed by 1997 PGA Champion Davis Love, III (par 71, 6629 yard) and has won design honors from Golf Magazine and The Golfer. Ocean Point Golf Links designed by George W.Cobb (par 71, 6556 yard) is a links-style course where the land meets the sea.

Camp Fripp provides supervised fun for kids and teens with different activites each day as well as some evening activities, allowing parents some quiet time. There are also various boat tours available through Island Adventures.

We have been coming to Fripp for several years, and this is one of our favorite places we have stayed at so far! The house is spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, and in a great location! Beach access is right in front of the house and very convenient. The porch has awesome views of the ocean, and the screened in porch was perfect during the rainy afternoon. Each bedroom has a king size bed and a tv! We would definitely recommend!

This was our third time staying at this property and once again it was wonderful! The house has an ocean view and is just across from the beach access which makes it the perfect location. We will definitely be back!

The house is big and updated. Huge living area, 3 bedrooms and baths upstairs and another bedroom and half bath downstairs with a play room. Big deck facing the ocean with new BBQ grill and lots of seating. Right by one of the main accesses to the beach. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Great location but the house could’ve been cleaner. Floors still had sand everywhere. When we walked in for the first time it smelt like marijuana. Not sure if it was the house keepers. Other than that great house and location was perfect!!

Pros: The location of the home was absolutely perfect! Easy access to the beach, close to food court and right in the middle of the island. The upstairs has been remodeled and the deck was very nice. Cons: The home was not very clean and the game table doesn’t work. The basement bedroom was very warm and could benefit from some updates. Overall: We Fripp annually and this was by far the best location so far!

This property was beautiful, had everything you needed when you are away from home. Not far from the beach and wonderful neighborhood, deer are everywhere and the island has beautiful views. The home had beach chairs and a wagon to use if you needed one. It was nice just relaxing and enjoying family. Recommend this home for a family vacation. Also, has a bunk bed in the downstairs bedroom.

Great location on the island. A beautiful walk to the beach. A big porch to see falling stars & grill out with a small view of the beach. Open dining, kitchen and living room. Good natural lighting. We were all very comfortable! It’s clean and well equipped. Would definitely consider staying here again. A consideration is the downstairs doesn’t have a shower. They do have a sink and toilet however! If you’re not familiar with the island, anywhere is a great location as long as you have a golf cart. I particularly like this area of the island as the beach is vast and beautiful. It’s also close to the Beach Club. The southern point of the island has the Cabana Club. The pool has a lot more activity for children and the beach views are STUNNING! It’s just a pleasant ride away on the golf cart. For the most spectacular sunsets I recommend golf carting to the southern most part of Tarpon Blvd and/or reserving a sunset dinner at the marina. Fripp is a gem! Thank you for sharing your home!!

The location is perfect. We all enjoyed the house and the great ocean view from the deck. It was the cleanest property we have rented on Fripp. Also, the kitchen was well equipped. We would stay here again.

Beautiful house, mostly renovated. Excellent location with ocean view and quick access to beach club. Most beach amenities there. Would have been nice to have a cooler and an umbrella but other than that had everything we needed.. We’ll definitely return.

Fully stocked towels for beach and bath. Fully stocked kitchen with plates, cookware, utensils. Plenty of room for everybody. Deck was wonderful. Quick walk to the beach. Loved the place.

We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay, so much more than we expected with the house!! Owners communication is top notch and the house is just adorable. Perfect location, perfectly stocked and the extras with the pool included, bottle of wine and more. Highly recommended!!

I cannot say enough good things about this home. It was the perfect house for our stay in Fripp Island as it is laid out perfect and you can't ask for a better location being right across the street from the beach and next to the Beach Club. The new deck was the perfect spot for our morning coffee and evening cocktails with a great view of the ocean as well as watching all the deer around the house. I found the house to be very clean and well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen as well as a nice grill on the deck. The only negative thing I would mention was the propane tank was empty so we had to go trade out the tank in order to use the grill. I highly recommend this home if you are a beach lover like me. The owners were very easy and accommodating to work with on this rental. I will definitely rent this house again.

We had an amazing stay at 706 Rock Beauty! Location can not be beat. Despite not being directly Ocean front hard to argue you could find a better view of the beach and ocean from the porch. Steps away from the beach walkway and can be down to the water with a 2-3 minute walk. Also, a short walk to the Beach Club, Sand Bar and Food Court. Property Owners are great and very responsive to questions. No issues at all. TVs are brand new, awesome to have an additional fridge in the garage to store and load drinks into your cooler each day before heading to the beach. Beds were also very comfy. Definitely would highly recommend this rental to anyone!
