A lovely cottage in an isolated location.
A lovely cottage in an isolated location. The wood burning stove was a real treat and made the cottage cosy in the evenings.
Not a fan of the spiral staircase and wouldn’t recommend this for younger families.

We had a lovely stay in this attractive property.
We had a lovely stay in this attractive property. It was comfortable and well situated. Our only suggestion would be to provide a wider range of glasses ( flutes!) and some large serving bowls. Otherwise absolutely perfect!

We were very lucky to have found this lovely cottage on a last minute booking for 2 nights.
We were very lucky to have found this lovely cottage on a last minute booking for 2 nights. Great location with easy access to Orford town for restaurants and shops and a beautiful setting with stables and horses to look out on to. Easy to drive to Southwold and Aldeburgh beach also. Cottage was clean and had all we needed for the 2 nights we were there. Wood fire was perfect touch and made our cosy evenings perfect. Our 3 year old son loved it also and even called it his special house. We would definitely book again to stay here.

A very nice, clean comfortable little cottage on a quiet stud farm up a long private drive.
A very nice, clean comfortable little cottage on a quiet stud farm up a long private drive. Well equipped with most things you are likely to need. Parking is onsite.
Orford is a pleasant village nearby, about 10 minutes and Aldeburgh is about 15/20 minutes away
If you like seafood, try the Butley Oysterage in Orford. Simple decor but really fresh fish and seafood cooked well. Try the oysters

We first stayed at this cottage for a week in 2016, and have just stayed there again for two weeks.
We first stayed at this cottage for a week in 2016, and have just stayed there again for two weeks. It's wonderful for children (and adults) to see the day-to-day activities on a working farm. The buildings are well kept with beautiful gardens and views to a stunning landscape. Comfortable and well-equipped, with Freesat tv and good WiFi. The owners are very friendly and helpful. A short drive to Orford Quay, with a very good pub - The Kings Head - and a wonderful bakery. Quite a long drive to a supermarket, but overall a very comfortable cottage in a beautiful part of England.

Beautiful cottage.
Beautiful cottage. Excellent rooms and fully equipped. Really useful explanations as to how to operate equipment in the cottage. Well situated for this part of Suffolk - great for accessing Woodbridge, Snape, Orford, Sutton Hoo. Great forest walks close by. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Lovely cottage , very clean and modern and on a lovely quiet farm .
Lovely cottage , very clean and modern and on a lovely quiet farm . My children loved all the horses and goats . Previous review mentioned about a lot of flies in the property which was the case as you are on a farm . Just recommend you take a spray of fly splat but def don’t let this put you off . Very nice barn conversion and great base to visit Suffolk .

Its 3 mins drive from Orford which has a village store selling dairy products, meat, fruit, and veg; a nice little bakery / tea room / café; a newspaper kiosk; 3 pubs; and a castle.
