Lovely large property with everything you would need in a great location

The house is in a fantastic location and the garden and distribution of rooms great. A few things stop it from being amazing:
1) the upstairs rooms have very little in the way of curtains and so you get woken up extremely early in the summer and there isn’t a lot of privacy as no door to separate from downstairs
2) boiler needs resetting as goes on and off all night making it hard to sleep upstairs
3) new saucepans with heat proof handles are needed as very dangerous - daughter burnt her hand

Had a really nice weekend, the barn is huge! spent most of time in the kitchen eating/drinking and playing board games.
Close to nice tourist locations such as Stratford-upon-Avon and Bourton-on-the-Water.
Chipping Campden is a very nice spot, the Curry house was nice too! (The Maharaja)
Thanks for a great weekend!

Great location and layout the barn was ideal for us. We all enjoyed our stay. The barn as lovely as it was needs some attention. Downstairs bedrooms a bit small but we’re fine for a weekend. Also we had a dog and the garden was not enclosed.

We had a great week staying in Campden Barn, which was exactly as described and as per our expectations.
Very well located with a short 10 minutes walk into the lovely Chipping Campden and other local spots such as Broadway, Moreton in Marsh and Bourton on the Water.
The barn was clean and well maintained and certainly very family and dog friendly, especially the very large garden/paddock.
There was a very good local walk at Dovers Hill to also exercise the dogs and we even managed a walk from the barn to Broadway and back.
We would certainly look to book the barn again in the future.

Good all round, with one or two issues. Boiler kept firing up alright noisily in the bedroom although thermostats had been turned down. Some beds not comfy.

The barn is in an excellent location, it is a 5 minute walk into Chipping Campden.
The barn is spacious with excellent facilities including Skysports! The garden is large with an excellent fire pit, bbq and garden furniture.
The hot water needed fixing whilst we were there but I think this was a one off problem.
The electric gates were removed years ago apparently so it would be useful to update the details on the website. This also means the garden is not 100% enclosed although this wasn't a problem for our dogs.

We spent a lovely Christmas in Campden Barn.
We spent a lovely Christmas in Campden Barn. Large and well-appointed, we could not fault it.
Lovely.

Lovely house and so warm and cosy.
Lovely house and so warm and cosy. Nice touch leaving wine and cake for arrival. Don’t look for the black gates though, they were removed ages ago apparently. There are very small signs at the end of the lane, but quite hard to see on first arrival. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain for our weekend, but it didn’t spoil our enjoyment. Takes about 10 mins to walk into Chipping Campden, which has some lovely shops. All in all, a great place to stay.

Comfortable, well-equipped house in great, walkable position near Chipping Camden.
Comfortable, well-equipped house in great, walkable position near Chipping Camden. Absence of doors on main bedrooms didn't matter to us but might need more privacy. Was excellent for our 3 generation family. Good space outside.

Great Spot for the long-weekend
Lovely spot for a long-weekend break in the cotswolds. Spacious accommodation with a huge garden. All the kitchen bits and bobs you need and well appointed rooms. We loved the fire pit and BBQ. Close walking distance to the lovely Chipping Campden with its picture-postcard features.

The barn was beautiful and perfectly spaced out. There was lots of room for all of us. It was simply and tastefully decorated and spotless. We had a wonderful week and would definitely go back again.

Really lovely place , very well equipped.
Really lovely place , very well equipped. However, we had a mixed party of a family with a toddler, childless couples and grandparents , including a few people who got up during the night. As there are no doors upstairs, tiled floors without rugs etc the barn is very noisy. The toddler woke everyone up early and the insomniacs woke people up at night! If you don t have these issues this would be perfect holiday accomodation.

It was very warm and cosy in the winter.
It was very warm and cosy in the winter. Kitchen space was a little cramped for more than one to work at a time. For the cottage to accommodate eight persons, the china and glass provision needs reviewing. (We were only six persons). Disappointed that there was no wood provision for a first fire in the either of the wood burners. However overall a very nice venue in an excellent location.
We were a party of six 'seniors' and thus did not take advantage of the wonderful garden 'play space' for children.

Lovely warm cottage within easy walking distance of Chipping Campden.
Lovely warm cottage within easy walking distance of Chipping Campden. There was plenty of room for eight adults and it was well equipped so it made a great base for a University reunion. However the barn is a strange layout as the two double bedrooms are up separate staircases, one off the kitchen and one off the lounge, and there are no doors to these two bedrooms. We didn't feel that this was made clear in the property details. Depending on your group split this could be a problem from a privacy/noise point of view. This aside we had a lovely weekend and enjoyed making use of some of the many restaurants and pubs plus the shops in the village.
