Very comfortable accommodation, very warm welcome, just a little too remote, and you need to be used to driving down narrow, twisty lanes with grass growing in the middle. I loved them, but my wife hated them!

Stunning location, lovely cottage all very clean and comfortable and great water pressure in the shower! But would have appreciated a few more kitchen basics (salt and pepper, cooking oil, washing powder).

We had a most enjoyable stay in the heart of the beautiful Welsh countryside.
We had a most enjoyable stay in the heart of the beautiful Welsh countryside. It was easy to drive to the beaches and the younger members of the family enjoyed the nearby railway. The cottage was well prepared for our arrival and was spotless. The gardens were most attractive and there were extensive grounds in which the young ones could run around and let off steam. We shall be back.

A beautiful farmhouse in a glorious location.
A beautiful farmhouse in a glorious location. Very rural, so it was very peaceful and quiet. You really don't need to go much farther than the back garden - the view is stunning. Local produce is available nearby, such as fresh eggs, vegetables and cheese. Good shopping in Cardigan and some smaller shops in Newcastle Emlyn. Walking in the area is a joy as there are hardly any cars. Bryn and Carol, the owners, were very friendly and helpful and were able to answer all our questions. The farmhouse itself is spacious, clean and very well equipped. We made use of the barbecue and used the log burner in the evening to make it a bit more cosy. If you like star gazing this is the place, and the bats kept us company as the sun went down. We will definitely be back. Phil, Maritza, Norman and Philip Grundy, Peterborough.

Our week at Lletty cottage.
Our week at Lletty cottage.
The cottage: this property is a very rural along small country lanes however when you arrive the setting is beautiful with fantastic views and a brilliant garden. However, the garden has a couple of small ponds which are not small children friendly. But, if you like peace and quiet this is the place for you as the only noises you really ever hear are moo's and barr's. The cottage is clean and well kept though my children thought it to be a little outdated and old-fashioned but I quite liked this. It is well equipped my favourite thing being the dishwasher. The garden is huge and my children loved exploring and playing frisbee. The Wi-Fi worked well all week, best signal in the living room and the small bedroom upstairs
The one issue we had with the cottage which kept my score an 8 not a10 would be the bathroom. there is a shower attached to the taps over the bath which really does not work. However, don't let this put you off I quite enjoyed having a bath. Though I think a small investment of a electric shower would make all the difference to this property. The local pub of the Nags Head is approximately 2 1/2 miles away where we had two very lovely meals.
The village of Newcastle Emlyn is well equipped with good supermarkets cafes and some small shops. There is a small castle which takes a couple of minutes to walk around. Cardigan is approximately 30 minutes away with good amenities and our favourite beach Poppit Sands. I would recommend this property if you like peace, quiet and a rural setting.
