Dolls Cottage is in a great location for the town of Bourton on the water., within easy walking distance on the road or via a footpath by the river accessed from the rear garden. Also ideal location for extended walks in the Cotswold country side.
The cottage is well equipped, comfortable and cosy. Its is ideal for pets with a nice enclosed rear garden with rear gate into a park.

Good cottage, poor communication and admin
The cottage, itself is good. Has everything you expect from a rental. Parking which is essential in Bourton. Welcome pack of milk and cake.
What is not good is the communication with owner.
Day before arrival, I had to reach out to owner regarding paying security deposit and paying dog charge. I was then advised that dog charge had changed to a higher rate than that quoted on confirmation. Being told this the day before arrival really isn’t good.
They do advertise 2 weeks to return security deposit but why? No reason it should take 2 weeks. Even then, not received as expected so had to chase. Doesn’t leave you with good feeling.
Just be aware that the admin associated with this property is not great.

We had a wonderful time at Doll’s Cottage! The location is great - right across from a pub and a very quick walk into the village (which has so many shops/pubs that it’s almost a town), and the park our the back gate was great for the kids. The only slight downside was the size/firmness of the bed in the 1st floor room. We visited the Cotswold Farm Park, Warwick Castle and many other places during our trip and it was great to come “home” to Doll’s Cottage. We have already booked our next stay!
