Good size rooms with full kitchen. Under cover parking even though their description says there is none.
The two queen beds were only 350 mm high. Would be very difficult for anyone with any problems bending over.
No curtains on any windows.
Phone reception is bad in the area. Very hard to use for internet or calls.
TV signal dropped out a lot.

Difficult to find positives on this one...
From a purely functional perspective - This property serves a place to sleep, cook, eat and socialise.
From a perspective of comforts - well short on the expectations...
Extremely hot (32 degrees in the house) as result of insufficient fans and absolutely zero cooling.
On arrival at approximately 10pm, we were greeted with zero markings on the property to help identify street number, and massive overgrowth in the property (Trees, grass, etc..). The neighbour came out, very stand-offish, and when asked if he knew the street number we were looking for, responded with an abrupt point to the house and instruction not to park on the street as it reduces lanes to one lane only.
With two other neighbours closely watching our arrival, we drove into the drive way.
With little lighting, we enjoyed a summer wrapping of a massive spider web on the way to the front door.... a little late for xmas wrapping, but still interesting :) We nicked named the massive spider, Bob, the property security.
Booking.com advertised the property as having A/C and WiFi - On entering the property, sweating like a wild beast after performing olympic level acrobatics in attempt to escape the web, we discovered that advert was WRONG... :) No A/C...No WiFi, and for shi#s and Giggles, we had zero Phone Network (No 3/4/5g). Awesome...
Whinging much more than in this rant - we parked ourselves on the lounge in defeat, acknowledging nothing can be done until morning - So thought, lets shower and sit under the fans to cool off....
The fun continued.... Outside Shower + Outside Toilet - Both locked and no key to open. Double Awesomeness...
Fortunately we had a youngster able to climb over the walls and into each facility to open the door.
With the doors open and lights on inside, we now had access to do our business .... we then noticed on exit of the toilet, that on the corner, was Bob the security spider's distant cousing....Harry the Hornet....huge nest with something that could quite easily be ridden with a harness.
The story continues, but not enough space here to finish....

enjoyed been surrounded by bush and being able to walk to the beach

The location was ok, it was easy to walk or catch the local taxi into town.
The overall experience was not great. The rules for cleaning up were a bit much considering the price paid for the accommocation. The premises were not that clean when we arrived. The comfort level was the worst experience, with the exception of the lounge, the beds, seating, outdoor area was not inviting or relaxing. The outdoor bathroom and toilet were not as appeared in the photos, poorly maintained, not very clean and somewhat disconcerting.

Loved the Bush Setting , nature at its best. Spacious bedrooms and kitchen.
As you will read in other reviews on this quirky property, the bathroom and toilet are not in the actual house but access is simply on a deck on the same level attached to the house.
I didn't find this a problem and understood the concept completely. It is a Beach house .Perfect for adults and children over 5/6 years as there are no railings or barriers on the deck.
No internet, would have been happy to pay for it.
Being with Vodafone, there was no network on my phone.
But hey, little price to pay for such a peaceful location

Love the house! Private rainforest retreat. The separate bathroom facilities added to the feel of the place.
Bed was uncomfortable, we all had sore backs the next day. Ran out of hot water. It was a cold rainy weekend.

This part of rainbow beach is quiet but as either side of Celledon is private residential there was quite a lot of noise with various power tools in use(this seemed to take place on sat/sun). proximity to beach is great. I liked the house with separate bathroom/toilet. The bed was good for me (firm) but quite close to the floor so some people may have difficulty getting out as was the couch low to the ground.
See above and The pillows!!!

Trees surrounding the property and birdsong. Kitchen and lounge area well set out.
No curtains/blinds - not private, very disappointing for our first romantic weekend away together
No toilet paper or soap - had to drive back into town to buy items
Bed very firm and very low - my partner has back damage and it was harder for him to get in and out of bed.
No pictures of the bathroom on the site - I liked the uniqueness of the design but the outdoor toilet and bathroom could be screened to reduce mosquito attacks

It was cute, and quirky
The mattresses could do with an update.
