Great location

Cheap and good located.

Great location, good value, comes with a small kitchen and dishes.
Giant Marilyn Monroe painting dominates the room. I don't like the modern decoration of such a historic house. Cheap plastic desk chair is very flexible, and the feet of the bed frame stick out and are easy to trip on and stub your toes. .

The location on Newbury street is excellent. The room was totally quiet; I did not hear anything either inside or outside (my room was on the alley side.) The bed was comfortable and I appreciated the fully tiled shower.
The room needed a lot of maintenance for broken drawers, curtain falling off, loose toilet handle, etc. The small bathroom did not have anywhere to place toiletries (I had to use the kitchenette counter.) There was an unfortunate incorrect deduction from my security deposit for an issue in a different room. I was not happy to receive notice of the deduction but I credit the managers with promptly acknowledging and correcting the mistake.

The studio was very clean and cozy. The location is fantastic, nice shops and restaurants around. The staff were quick to respond to all of my messages.
Nothing.

Everything was better than expected. Completely satisfied.
My only concern or complaint is, after I made several calls about an earlier arrival,no return call at all. Left multiple messages. I just needed to use the bathroom after a 4 hour drive.

The location is very close to shops, restaurants, Harvard bridge, Boston common and other attractions. The bus and subways are located on perfect places!!! Hot shower water! All managers are awesome and responded very quickly. Very nice staff!!
The bed is a little bit uncomfortable. The furniture is a little bit broken. The pot wasn't cleaned perfectly but they replaced it soon. No elevator!

The property is very close to the bay area. Close to shops, restaurants, Fenway Park, Cambridge (just walk across the bridge) and other main attractions. Just a 10 min walk from Boston Common if you're planning to do the Freedom Trail. A little bit pricey for the size, bus the location is just great!
We had an issue with the electric door lock, but the host immediately solved it :)

Location
Drab decor, poor sound insulation - noise from other apartments travelled. Very alarmingly, the window in my apartment was broken, meaning that the entire window frame could be lifted clean out of the wall. Extremely dangerous!! I discovered this on my final day before checking out when I tried to get some fresh air into the room. I'n not sure if I'm glad or terrified that I only discovered it then. I opened the window and the entire pane and frame came away in my hands. I quickly shoved it back in. The fire escape was directly outside the window - anyone could have just pushed the window in and come into the room. I reported to management via email. (it is not easy to get hold of someone on site. There is a number but if you are travelling with an international phone you may not be able to call. There is no concierge and the cleaning staff I spoke to did not speak English so could not help.)

Location
Old building, small place -an impression is created by pictures that it is larger apartment, cleaning staff insisted in middle of my meeting on check out time by 11 when I had requested and was approved a 11:30checkout. This place is so deep inside the building that it feels like living in a tunnel, and it is just one area that has everything.

Location was great.
Much smaller than expected - pics can be deceiving.
There was a nasty smell in the room which was probably from washing carpets and not drying it properly. If you were out the first thing to do upon returning was to throw open the door and windows. We had to keep the windows wide open even at night which would not be great in winter.
Shelves in the cupboard were stuck and could not be used at all as they could not pull out so we had nowhere to unpack.
Would be great if basic instructions for the shower were provided rather than trying to figure it out & perhaps a warning that the geyser is a distance away (we assumed) and it will take some time before the hot water reach the 3rd floor. We are very water conscious and felt terrible wasting so much water before it became warm enough to shower.
Would expecting one or two extra coffee filters for the coffee machine be a big ask? The shop downstairs only sells them in packs of 100+.

Place was neat.

Location was great, along with accessing the property was easy.
To change the channel on the tv you had to go to the cabinet by the front door. Bathroom was incredibly small making daily activities difficult.
3.8
It was very central to where I wanted to be in Boston and easy to get to.
The bed was not terribly comfortable but the room was clean and easily accessible.
3.8
The studio was tiny but it had everything including some tea/coffee/water. It was clean and easily accessible. Plus, you can't beat the location!

Great location and comfortable bed
No elevator if you have heavy luggage, dryer was broken, kitchenette could have been cleaner
