The host gave us an incorrect code for the garage…and disagreed with me when I called it to his attention. Actually, it was wrong in 2 ways! He also didn’t give us the correct parking space info. Twice. The unit is old and dated and some things need to be repaired. But it is a very spacious unit and super well located. Unfortunately, it’s also potentially noisy, if you like your windows open. Neighbors partied on their balcony till well last 2am. And then commercial vehicles (garbage trucks?) came by at 3am and 6am, using their back-up beeper alarms (for no possible reason at that hour). Disappointing nights’ sleep, on a nice bed. A mixed bag on this one.

Loved it!

We loved this property it is very spacious and has everything you will need. It is in a prime location just steps from all of the shops in Vail Village and Gondola 1. We will be back and will rent this again!

This property is located in the heart of Vail Village with quick access to trails, restaurants, and the Gondola. The patio in the unit was a wonderful place to read the paper during our beautiful Summer stay! The 3rd bathroom/powder room was a plus for our family stay.

Pablo was fantastic. Location is great. If you sleep with windows open it’s very noisy with garbage and delivery trucks early in the morning, 4-7am. Maybe it was a good thing we couldn’t get all of the windows to actually open/don’t work.

Short walk to everything in Vail Village. Perfect for a ski vacation!

Our family enjoyed staying here, 5 min walk to the Village Ski Valet and Gondola One. Two min walk to Vail Village with all the shops and restaurants. The building is supposed to be smoke free but sometimes there was unpleasant smoke smell (not sure where it was coming from). Other than that it was great for our family ski trip.

What a great place! Lots of space, beautiful interior, lovely deck.

The place is so well located, right next door to Gondola 1 and the heart of Vail. Very clean and nicely decorated. Fire place is awesome and the beds are very comfortable. They also had free washer and dryer which was not listed in the amenity list. Highly recommend!

Perfect property for our group of 6. Right on the edge of Vail center and ski lifts

Great place. Location was perfect to celebrate Octoberfest and enjoy the rest of the amenities Vail has to offer.

We loved the area and Vail is an amazing place!

We arrived snd the code for the garage entry wasn’t working, I called the property manager to get help. There was no answer and I left a frantic message that I couldn’t access the garage and still haven’t hear from him. Not a great introduction to the property in the pouring rain. We eventually figured out that another code worked but it was not the one given to us to access the garage.

Great condo, very comfortable for 2 couples. Easy access to everything you need in Vail Village!

Beware
The owner gave our key code to another group who entered the property before we were due to check out. That should never happen.

Very convenient location near Vail town centet
A dated condo in the heart of Vail. The bathrooms and kitchen are tiny. Underground parking is a nice perk. The property manager is very good to work with.

Hard to beat the location which is a five mnute walk to Gondola One.

Great location! Overall pretty clean. It says laundry but it’s not in the unit. In the basement.
This was a great place to stay for our ski vacation. I would stay here again.

Vail Getaway
Overall the property was clean and nicely appointed, however, a quick check by the cleaning crew or property manager before our arrival would have been nice. We were missing some essentials like soap and enough towels for the 4 of us. Also, there were a few things that were broken or not working that needed attention that we didn't want to get "blamed" for upon checkout. Again, if the property manager had done a walk through before we got there, he might have seen these items that needed attention, and we wouldn't have had to call him in.

-Location: The location of the building is good. The building is only a short walk to the center of Vail Village. However, the location of the individual unit is terrible. It is just above the parking garage entry and at the intersection of two busy roads. The first is the road into Vail Village which is full of big loud supply trucks in the morning. The second road is one that goes up higher in the mountain to billionaire’s row where there is a constant stream of huge trucks bringing building supplies and equipment.
-Information: We were given a garage code which did not work. Very annoying since we could have used the same code as to the condo.
-Amenities: While the unit is located in Riva Ridge South, which supposedly is part of the Willows, you do not have access to the workout facility or large hot tub located at the Willows. On the Willows website it states that you do have access.
-Kitchen: Although the kitchen is small it is nicely equipped with what you need for basic cooking. The refrigerator did not seem to work properly as the milk stored in it was barely cool. The display on the microwave is almost impossible to read.
-Bathrooms: There are 3 full bathrooms but they are barely able to accommodate one person to turn around. Despite there being 4 empty tissue holders around the unit, there were zero tissues.
-Balcony: The unit has a pleasant balcony with comfortable furniture but there is no view of anything except the street.
-Furnishings: The living room flooring is nice. It is too bad it does not extend to the carpeted areas which are stained and very worn. The whole unit is extremely dated and cluttered. It was difficult to find our own items because the owner’s knickknacks, throw pillows, blankets, etc. took up most of the available surfaces. Others in our party stayed in another unit in the same building (managed by the Willows) and, although a similar floor plan, it was much more pleasant. This unit had mirrored walls which did nothing but double the cluttered look. The chests in the bedrooms did not have drawers that worked properly. Better to remove them in order to make more space in the bedrooms. The closet space was sufficient for a week’s stay.
Upkeep: Unit needed a lot of maintenance. Two of the crank windows in the bedrooms were broken. Shower handle came off in my hand. Many of the wood blinds did not work.
-Many of my comments are echoed in the reviews so the problems noted are not new.

Nice condo
Excellent stay. Clean with new updates. Perfect location. Love the decor. Might want to repair window cranks in bedrooms, and heavy mirror in a bathroom is hanging by one hinge.

The condo was clean and comfortable. Pablo was quick to answer my texts. We enjoyed sitting on the deck , in the shade and reading or just watching the people go by. Could use a little updating, but was perfect for our last minute trip.

poor
no direction provided in advance for designated parking space, no parking permit provided, so I continued to get tickets on my car notifying me that I would be towed, throw blankets were filthy, windows in bedroom would not close, kitchenware minimal at best

Close to everything
Enjoyed staying here with my family. Close walk to everywhere in Vail Village. We were here for my sons wedding and were able to walk to the wedding at the Sonnenalp Hotel. The condo was very nice and the beds were comfortable.

Perfect location
Aside from a mix-up with our unit and another family’s unit, our stay was great. The condo was in the perfect location!

Great location. Close to slopes and vail village. Nice sized living room to hang out in. Good communication with Pablo. We did need shampoo and extra washcloths. He brought them right away. We loved the windows. Nice corner unit.

Fabulous location, Excellent in Vail
Very comfortable, excellent location, plenty of space. But, unit is in need of maintenance, light fixtures and bulbs, the correct bulbs. Microwave was erratic, sometimes works, sometimes not. Shower head fixtures need to either be cleaned or replaced. Toilets are loose from the floors, pocket doors will not lock.... Just needs to be maintained. Hopefully some work will be done. I would like to come back to the property again, it is spacious and comfortable.

Short getaway
This is our 3 rd time coming back to Vail and staying at Pablo’s condo. It’s the perfect location and Pablo is easy to get a hold of and very accommodating. We stayed for 3 nights with another couple and we had a great time! We are definitely coming back!

Awesome place, awesome location, awesome owner
A lot of listing say they are close to the action but this place truly is. About a block from the main square but far enough away to avoid most of the crowd noise in the evening. Very spacious and well appointed condo and the management took really good care of us. Highly recommended!
