Loved it all

Our extended family had a lovely time. The grandchildren particularly enjoyed walking outside and jumping into the secluded cove that leads out to Mirror Lake. A very restful location.

Besides being a superb location and a spacious lodge, all needs were thought of: sheets, towels, dish soap, board games, books, stocked grill, kayaks, canoes, life vests, paddles, sandy, private swimming area. Kevin and Laura were very responsive hosts, and check out couldn’t have been easier.
For eight adults and three little ones, the six bedrooms has plenty of room. Each had fans for hot weather indoors, and Mirror Lake was just right for cooling off outdoors. It was perfect for kayaking or canoeing around.
At just an hour from Concord, it’s a delightful get-away!

Awesome location with everything we needed for a weekend with the family.
Even with the rain we had plenty for the kids to do with the large open floor plan and board games.
We will definitely be back again!

We really enjoy being at Mirror Lake Lodge , we appreciate the rustic feeling of this old New Hampshire building with it's views of the lake and mountains. We do all our own cooking, so, the completely furnished modern kitchen is a delight for our group to use for meal preparation and an excellent dish washer for easy cleanup.

The owners were pleasant and wonderful to work with we spent seven beautiful days floating on the cleanest lake enjoying kayaking canoeing fishing and paddle boating. We got to see a bald eagle up close listen to the loons and the bullfrogs. We slept wonderfully with enough rooms rooms for everyone which were clean. Fabulous vacation

This was a very nice house and Laura and her family were welcoming and respectful of us in our rental space. The location is only about 10-15 minutes from Loon mountain.

Great family spot
This was our 2nd stay here as a family, we loved it the first time and glad we could do it again. Loved the lake, the new hot tub, and all the water sports equipment. Always nice waking up to this view each day. The interior room options are great and works for a variety of sleeping situations. Laura was great w/ communication ahead of time - very easy experience. Highly recommend

Wonderful guest house, on an amazing setting, if a tad smaller than I expected
My family (5 adults, three kids under three) had a wonderful visit to the Mirror Lake lodge. I'd strongly recommend both the property and the owners. A few things that stood out, and a few things that would have been helpful for me to have known better/thought about more before going:
The EXCELLENT:
• The location. Wow! The lake is unbelievable, pristine. Being able to walk down the stairs and basically into the lake (including the boats) is amazing. The house is nicely situated for anyone who likes outdoor activities—very close to I-93, close to Lincoln/N Woodstock, 20 min to Plymouth.
•The outdoor space. Wonderful deck, great lawn for games, firepit, lake, boats, hot tub... it was amazing. This is really hard to beat for the price of the rental.
• The owners. Incredibly communicative, very helpful, got us what we needed, took care of anything we asked. They were around most of our visit, but never in our way. They feel like really upstanding, good people. Couldn't have asked for more.
WHAT I'D WISH I THOUGHT MORE ABOUT:
• The house isn't small, but it was perhaps smaller than I expected. We were there for a long time, and when the weather turned bad the house was a bit cramped. The bedrooms are small (and the two upstairs don't have walls that extend to the ceiling, so noise can be an issue), and there's one indoor common space. Noise carries a lot in the house. If your group values privacy, you might consider a different house.
• House feels like a work in progress, which I take that it is. A mix of updated (nice kitchen, deck) with old (bathrooms are definitely small, beds not super comfy). I don't think any of this is really a problem—the place is definitely a cabin, with a cabin's aesthetics and feel, and is advertised as such—but it's worth knowing.
OVERALL: If your group is comfortable without a ton of personal space and wants a great getaway in a wonderful area, this house is great and has the kind of people that you'd want to rent a house from.

Extended family retreat
We had a great time using this property.. the only negative is the two loft rooms they don’t have a ton of air flow so I would suggest if possible to pack large fans.. every room had fans and the owner found us more I just would say that upstairs could use another large size fan! But the rest of the property was great and well equipped with everything you need for your stay!!!! I would definitely stay here again in the future!

A Wonderful Fall Weekend Getaway
From the booking process through the end of our stay, Laura and Kevin were wonderful and attentive hosts. We have stayed at this lodge in the past and the upgrades have been a great addition. Communication prior to arrival was thorough and had all the necessary information we needed. We took advantage of the fireplace and even got out on the serene lake for a paddle boat. We will absolutely visit again! Thank you for a much needed weekend getaway!

AWESOME MIRROR LAKE STAY!
Our plans had to change a bit due to the challenges of COVID-19 and Laura was fabulous working with us to accommodate them --for that our family is truly grateful! Our stay was too short!. The lodge was ideally located for our stay ( far enough away but close enough to grocery and town even though we barely left the lodge and lake).. We enjoyed cooking together in the fabulous- large kitchen ( with lovely lake view out the window) and eating out on the new deck over-looking the lake.
The access to the lake was made even more enjoyable by having free access to kayaks nd a great paddle-boat was awesome-
-( too often, those have to be rented out from some local shop or not available at all). The owner -family was on-sight-
( wouldn't you be if you could? during the pandemic ) but they were very respectful of our stay and did their best to offer us privacy.. This rustic old boy's camp turned lodge is filled with vintage charm. Plenty of bedrooms and space to move about. The loft beds upstairs are not entirely noise- proof private as they are not enclosed rooms ( open peak) with some dust balls and cobwebs. ---but overall a truly lovely and warm environment ; very comfortable and we settled right in and we all had much fun!.
Of note, for those with elderly or ambulatory issues, the access to the lodge is either up a flight of old deep wooden steps or up the back deck stairs; manageable but may not be so for someone with more serious issues. We were very happy with our stay, grateful for the courtesy, respect, privacy and accommodations provided us by the owners during this pandemic.. Thank you Laura and Kevin and boys.

Perfect Winter getaway
ideal for our group of 9 adults as a base to enjoy the outdoors.
our group was 9 adults for a weekend . The Lodge has a well furnished kitchen, we cooked all our meals, we did not need eat out at all. cross-country skiing, and snow shoeing in the local area, and a relaxing hot tub soak after our activity. the rustic character of the lodge adds to the sense of a North woods adventure. would highly recommend this rental.

Beautiful cabin on a beautiful lake!
A group of co-workers and I stayed at the Mirror Lake Lodge for an end of summer retreat and we had a great experience. There is so much room onsite for activities we never ran out of things to do. The lake was so nice and clean, and there were enough boats for all of us. The kitchen was large enough for the seven of us to all be cooking and meal prepping at the same time and not be in each other's way. Such a great spot, saving for future trips to NH!

very kid friendly
we had a very nice stay at Mirror Lake. We had a 9 and a 7 year old with us and they had alot to do. The kitchen and the deck tables were great for large groups. The steep stairway to the deck was a bit daunting, but we got used to it.

Relaxing week in the White Mountains
When my brother an sister in-law from TX told me that they had never been to the White Mountains, I searched for a lake house in the area. I don't think we could have found a more perfect place. The old Mirror Lake Lodge is tucked away in a quiet cove on Mirror Lake just off Rt 93 in Woodstock NH. This is the perfect place to hang out and relax, or to venture out and explore the White Mountains. The owners and the caretaker couldn't be more accommodating or friendly. Even the owners dog, Pica, was friendly and playful and kept our dog entertained. Great time! Highly recommended.

Not a quiet getaway
While the view is very nice, the property did not provide the quiet, secluded family time we had been expecting. During our week long stay, we had only one day of peaceful family time (and unfortunately by then our daughter had thought it best to take our young grandchildren elsewhere). We checked in on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday the caretaker was walking through the property (including a visit to our “private” deck). On Monday the property owner began construction serenading us with the sound of saws and hammering. The construction continued through Wednesday when an outside construction crew showed up. During these days we also had multiple visits from the property owners off-leash dog who was enjoying eating our grandchildren’s food. Their son was allowed to sit and stare at us playing with our grandchildren, walk through our gathering and even spray my husband with a squirt gun. On Friday, after being promised by the property owner that there would be no more construction, my daughter was blessed at 8:30 by the sound of the caretaker digging outside her window. In the end the property owner felt a reimbursement of $200 was sufficient, and yes this is total, not per day of construction.
Notes: The unit is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building so not easily accessible if you have difficulty with stairs. Wi-Fi can be inconsistent so having access to a personal hotspot is recommended if you are in need of Wi-Fi. Contact the caretaker upon arrival, he will come by to check you in.

Perfect lake getaway!
Laura and Kevin have the perfect spot on Mirror Lake. The house is great for a group. There are plenty of bedrooms and the kitchen is updated and well equipped. One of the best parts is the view out the back windows right onto the lake. We spent one day hiking nearby and the second day paddling and swimming in the lake. There are a few nice dinner options nearby in Lincoln but we also enjoyed cooking and grilling at the house. We had a fabulous couple of days. We would love to go back for another visit! Thank you for having us!

wonderful new year's eve at Mirror Lodge!
we had a wonderful time at Mirror Lake lodge. The house was in great order and the bedrooms were clean and spacious enough for all our guests. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare food for everyone and the electric griddle was perfect for making pancakes. The kids loved sledding on the nearby hill, as well as skating on the pond right outside the house. I highly recommend staying here.

The lodge was amazing. Perfect for our multigenerational group.
We had an amazing time. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in and was well stocked with everything that we needed. There was plenty to do with lawn games and plenty of watercraft. This was an amazing getaway and we hope to return soon

Wonderful house by the lovely Mirror Lake.
We went as a large group in late Summer and everything was perfect: the house, the yard, and the lake. We hope to come back again in Fall. Laura and Mike are great hosts, they were very helpful and responsive all along. Overall, great place for a weekend getaway!

Perfect for the kids!
The small private beach with kayaks, canoe, and paddle boat were a huge hit with the young kids, although the lake isn't big enough to allow long distance trips. Grownups loved dinner on the deck with a view of the lake and mountains. The kitchen is new, well-equipped, and has plenty of work space. You can hear noise from the interstate, but also the soothing music of the water running over the dam near the house, which can be heard from the bedrooms. The house is rustic and cozy (read: small) but the outdoors makes up for it. We took day trips to attractions and walks in the mountains and had a lovely week.

Mirror Lake Lodge: spacious and fun!
We have enjoyed staying at this fun lodge in both summer and winter. There is plenty of room for large groups to sleep comfortably. The fireplace is enormous and great centerpiece for the main living room. Sitting on the deck in the summer and looking at the gorgeous view of tranquil Mirror Lake can't be beat. Kevin and Laura have a great little dock with canoes and kayaks to use. Swimmers? This is the best lake around! It's clean and quiet, great for kids to enjoy. We brought our paddleboard and loved seeing a Bald Eagle fly overhead while floating on this beautiful lake. There are two bathrooms and a newly renovated kitchen with everything you need to enjoy meals both inside or out on the deck.
The accommodations are very clean and neat. Also handy is that Mirror Lake Lodge is easy to get to from Rt 93, but quiet and peaceful. In winter, we drove to Cannon Mountain in less than 20 minutes to ski. Franconia Notch is right up the road and there are so many amazing places to hike and see. I highly recommend this lovely lodge if you have a large group or family to accommodate. There is no end to the fun here in both summer and winter. Outdoor enthusiasts will be close to nature and couch potatoes- well, they can rest and relax in cozy places indoors or out on the deck. We will definitely be back!

This place is magical!
We have been lucky enough to stay at Mirror Lake Lodge in both the summer and winter and each time it has been absolutely wonderful. The rooms are all very cozy and comfortable and there is enough room for several families to enjoy the space with any configuration of kids and adults. In the winter, the lodge is very close to several ski mountains which is awesome. The hot tub after skiing hits the spot, as does the huge fireplace. There are tons of board games and the newly remodeled kitchen is open and easy for group cooking. In the summer being on the lake is all the entertainment needed. The kids (and adults) loved the canoes and paddle boats, and the floating dock in the center of the lake. We saw a bald eagle last summer! There is also an outdoor fire pit and an great deck outside for dinners and cards.
I would recommend this place to any family or families looking for a vacation place to make memories. It has certainly become a annual tradition for our family and friends.

Just want we wanted...
This house was just what my friends and I were looking for. We had a party of 9, including 3 couples and one infant. House was great for that. Having the second half bath was a definite plus. Only some of our group went skiing at Loon for the day. A bunch of us did some snowshoing around the lake - walking on trails through the woods and out on the frozen lake to chat with ice fishermen. Hot tub was excellent and everyone had fun. I appreciated they had firewood at the house we could simply pay for as it was hard to find on our way up. Definitely recommend grabbing groceries well before you get there.
Overall great stay, quick trip from Boston and we're already talking about renting again in the summer!

wonderful place to stay!!!
This house is the perfect destination, and it's especially comfortable for families. The house was well maintained, incredibly clean and a nice layout where everyone could congregate for meals and board games. The kitchen has everything you could want, including a griddle to cook up some pancakes in the morning! X-c skiing is close by, as well as a great hill for sledding for the kids.
