About this cabin rental

We call it our cabin, but it is that and so much more! Take time to view the pictures. . . youwill find a secluded, yet minutes from shopping, home with 2 levels. The walls are covered in beautiful taxidermy all mounted and hung by the original owner. The view from the back deck is overlooking a meadow where the elk and deer graze in the evenings. Hummingbirds swoosh and dive over the mountain flowers and the feeder on the deck! Don't sit too close, they will dive down and zip by less than an inch from your eyes! We often cook fresh caught fish on the grill that sits on the deck, open wine and dine with the deer. The front porch has a covered veranda with rocking chairs. Take your morning coffee out and enjoy the pleasure of mother nature waking up. What a humbling experience. Need to get out and explore? 5 minutes will get you to Corum shopping, eateries, and distilleries, Lake 5, the Fun Center, or guided tours. 10 minutes will get you to Hungry Horse shopping and eateries, West Glacier, Apgar, Lake McDonald, White water rafting, horseback rides, helicopter rides, and more. 15 minutes will get you to Hungry Horse lake, Big Sky Waterslide, and much more. You can also enjoy Flathead Lake, Whitefish Lake, Big Mountain, Lakeside, Big Fork and more. The season just doesn't matter. The weather doesn't matter, either. There is always something to do at our mountain retreat, even if it is just cozying up to the fireplace with a good book. We were a party of six family members and we had just done a couple of days of wilderness camping. This was a great cabin to come to after that. There is a great living area so we could all relax. The kitchen is well equipped and the washer and dryer are wonderful. There is also a nice back porch. It is very quiet and relaxing. We hope to stay here again in the future!

This home was very spacious and comfortable. It had everything we needed to enjoy our time, cook, and relax when not out exploring. The location was a quick drive to the West entrance of Glacier National Park and to a local grocery store. Would happily recommend and stay again if ever back!

This place was perfect for our family. There was plenty of room and we loved the location. I have only positive feeling about our stay here! The kids loved building a fire and roasting hotdogs and marshmallows. We loved the deck for our early morning coffee and late night relaxing.

This location was amazing. It was more than we ever expected. The location was beautiful, the home was fabulous. We had 8 people in there but there was plenty of room for everyone. I would absolutely book again

Cabin was perfect for our needs as a group trip. We saw deer every night around dusk in either the front or back yard. Easy access to the West entrance of the park and close enough to St. Mary and Many Glacier for day trips. Dave was super helpful and a great host.

There were six of us—all senior citizens! This cabin was beautiful, comfortable, and very convenient for us. We enjoyed a campfire, too. Numerous deer visited us in the evenings. The location is great!

This cabin was by far our favorite vacation stay of all times! The location was perfect for entering the West Entrance of GNP. The cabin was cozy, spacious and had wonderfully comfortable beds for sleeping after long day’s hiking in the park. There are wonderful porches on the front and back of the home and a fire pit in the backyard where we made s’mores and gazed at the stars. We could not be happier with this beautiful vacation spot! Thank you to our gracious host for sharing your home with us!

Would highly recommend this home. Everything was well stocked (from condiments to bear spray). Dave was very gracious with his time in answering questions and easy to contact before and during the trip. Only a short drive to Glacier NP, restaurants in hungry horse and about 25 minutes from the FCA airport.

This property is amazing! A short drive to the west glacier entrance yet private and secluded. Kitchen is stocked with all the tools, dishes etc and the grill works great.

We really enjoyed our time here. The cabin was very nice and clean. We appreciated all the extras available to use, like bear spray and binoculars. Beds were all comfortable. Location was great. Close to Glacier, grocery store, and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Our stay at this vacation rental near Glacier National Park was truly exceptional. Its proximity to the park allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in its natural beauty and hiking trails. The convenience of nearby shopping and a grocery store was an added bonus. There were 6 of us staying here. The decor is gorgeous and the house is well stocked. We enjoyed watching the deer every morning in the meadow behind the house. We would definitely stay again!!

We had a wonderful trip up to visit Glacier National park with friends and this cabin was a great place to stay! The upstairs room with the bathroom was much bigger than I thought in the picture and fit our whole family, the downstairs was left for the other adults! The hot water stopped once but we found out the breaker flipped so it was an easy fix. There was a bit of a mix up with the cleaning lady for our check in and I ended up making all the beds, but once we were settled in our stay was great! The boys loved riding bikes around the private driveway area and doing a camp fire night! We never found out where the garbage was supposed to be kept, I think the outside cans are missing. Any way thank you for hosting!

This is a fantastic property! It is spacious and in an excellent location. There is plenty of room for extended family, an extremely well-equipped kitchen, huge living space, comfortable beds. In short, everything we needed and wanted for our stay near Glacier. It is so close to the west entrance of the park and yet also convenient to the highway for supplies. We had a great time. The cabin was very roomy and nicely decorated with taxidermy animals. During the day it got a little hot but we were out seeing the sites most of the time w so it was not a real big deal. It did cool off nice in the evening. The hummingbirds would frequent the feeders and they were fun to watch. Overall this was a great place to stay close to the west entrance of glacier.

We absolutely loved the property! The cabin was close to the Glacier National Park, very spacious and clean with comfortable beds. The best part was that the kitchen was very well stocked. I could not believe when I saw all the spices and basic cooking necessities! The owner was very responsive, directions accurate (stick to the owner’s directions). We were very pleased with our stay!

We loved our stay at this cabin. It was a perfect spot to stay for visiting the west side of the park. The location was perfect, the beds were comfy, there’s a pack and play already there, it’s quiet (Except for the train that comes by a few times during the night but you can just use a sound machine to drown that out), and a beautiful spot.The kitchen was well stocked with things that we needed and the layout of the house was perfect for our family. We loved all of the taxidermy in the house too. We would highly recommend this house if you were planning to visit glacier national Park or the area in general. Dave was super helpful in giving us suggestions of stores to go to, restaurants, and things to see nearby. The only thing that would’ve been more helpful was to have a more detailed map with the road names listed to turn on Since Google maps doesn’t take you to the correct location. Thanks for a great vacation!

Our group of 4 absolutely loved this place! It is clean and welcoming and so close to Glacier. The location is isolated in the woods while still having good access to the highway, restaurants and other amenities. There were deer grazing in the yard while we had a campfire nearby. Very memorable.

We had a group of 4 adults. Comfortable beds, plenty of different pillows to choose, plenty of seating, plenty of kitchen tools, wifi worked great, bear spray. Cons: this may apply to most rentals there but worth mentioning you have to take your trash to a nearby dump site that is open 8-5p. We filled up a bag by the second day and we were in the park during the dump hours so had to deal with flies until the end of the trip. The Bbq pit gas connection was leaking so didn’t get to grill our burgers or other food we bought for the grill. Dave offered the grill next door but we had cooked the burgers in the skillet by then. Great communication! He also has the smaller place next door if you need more or less space. Would stay again if weather was cool like this time.

Great location. Cabin could use some extra fans as the one ceiling fan in living room is to high to feel it. It was 94 degrees the day we arrived and it was extremely hot until early hours of morning. We were gone throughout day, so that helped. There was spiders in bathroom and loft, in which we made the owner aware so that he could get that taken care of. The location to Glacier was amazing so definitely made it a great trip.

Excellent location for nature lovers. Very nicely equipped with plenty of room. If you want to stay in a neighborhood...that you likely left at home...try Whitefish. If you want to comfortably experience Glacier with an outdoor vibe...this property in Coram.

The location and home are wonderful. However, the home had not been cleaned prior to our arrival (former guests’ sheets were still on all the beds, kitchen and bathrooms in disarray). We contacted the owner and he indicated that the prior guests were supposed to have cleaned (he offers a self-clean option for some of his guests). He apologized and promised to send a refund of one night’s stay as compensation for our trouble. We had to strip the beds, wash all the sheets, and make the beds ourselves prior to being able to go to sleep for the evening. My husband and daughters cleaned the kitchen and bathrooms while I did the laundry. It was annoying but because the owner promised to make it right, we made the best of it. However, it has been over two weeks since our departure and we haven’t received what he promised. This would be a great place to stay if better managed. Also, if I had known that the place wouldn’t have been professionally cleaned prior to our arrival, I would have booked elsewhere. This is August 2020 and with concerns over Covid, it seems like cleanliness would have been more of a priority. We tried to wipe everything down with Clorox wipes but our visit would have been much more enjoyable had the property been cleaned upon arrival.

Dave the owner, has created fabulous Montana getaway, that is family friendly, spacious, and beautiful surroundings.It is situated in the woods, but close to groceries, cafes and pubs, shopping, water slide deluxe, and most of all, Glacier Natl Park.Great kitchen, livingroom stocked w/ games, high def TV, wi-fi, great porches and fire pit where we had s'mores last night.I would return in a snap!Thanks, Dave, for offering your fab cabin on VRBO!Thad and Su Suits, and 7 other family members!
